  1. PVP Death should result in a penalty for dying, not a reward for winning. The reward for winning is being able to inflict the penalty of death upon your enemy.
  2. Bump - 2nd page before i could even refresh my browser.
  3. Here's the solution I propose to the PVP Gear Bag Situation. - I'm under the assumption level 50 blue gear was removed recently. If it wasn't, then go ahead and remove it. - Centurion PVP gear is purchased with warzone commendations. It should take a fair amount of commendations to purchase the gear. Smaller pieces should be 500 commendations (ear, implant, relic, bracer, belt, etc.), main armor pieces should be 750 (chest, legs, head, boots, gloves) and weapons should be 1000. The exact values are not as important, I'm just throwing some numbers out. Main point is it shouldn't be as easy as the blue gear was to attain. - Champion Gear Bags should give champion commendations that you use to buy whatever champion armor you want. No randomness, no duplicates. - Battlemeaster gear bags should give battlemaster commendations that you use to buy whatever battlemaster gear you want. No randomness, no duplicates. I believe this change is slated for the PTR soon. What this will also do is allow fresh 50's to get decent gear (centurion is ok, but it actually is a pretty big step under champion. It's a larger upgrade when going from centurion to champion than it is from going champion to battlemaster) relatively quickly so they don't get rolled so badly by the fully geared 50's once the 50's bracket goes live. I for one can't stand the randomness. I went 4/8 in my first 8 bags and now I'm 0/12. Even despite this, it is faster to get CHAMPION gear than it is to get CENTURION because of the random gear drops. It should not be faster to get tier 2 gear than tier 1. That is just wrong. Thanks for reading Bioware. I'll send you an invoice for my consulting fee shortly after the change is implemented.
  4. There's a lot more strategy that goes into Hutball than goes into Alderaan or Voidstar. I like Hutball the best.

    PvP death penatly

Respawn at med center should be the only option upon PVP death. Even that is a pretty weak penalty.
  6. It would have to be alive before it could die.
  7. I've opened 8 bags thus far (I got level 50 on Sunday from Questing) and I've gotten 4 pieces of gear. Earpiece, legs, bracer and offhand. Thankfully I'm one of the lucky ones! Yes, I have low valor rank from not PVPing much while leveling. I think I'm around valor rank 20.
  8. 4) Throwing a pass for a score = Aaron Rodgers Championship Belt (aka Discount Double Check) Move. 5) Under heavy attack and still scoring through all the damage = Cam Newton superman pose.
  9. Fun but otherwise completely pointless Hutball additions I'd like to see: 1) After scoring a point, the ball carrier should automatically break into /dance as a a sort of touchdown dance. 2) If you have the ball within the last few feet until the goal line and are out of combat (sprint active) you should break into the Deion Sanders high stepping dance. 3) Kill shot on the other team's ball carrier should equal Shawn Merriman "Lights Out" Sack Dance. Maybe just do this on US servers since the Euro's wouldn't understand...
  10. This is a very good guide. The only question I have is about the PVP build. Why not take lightning spire to give additional range to lighting strike, chain lightning and thundering blast. Is that not more valuable than other 1 point talents such as 1% critical chance? For example, in a PVP situation where players are bunched up that extra 5 meters can mean throwing a nasty chain lightning their way while being out of their range. In a 1v1 fight it can mean getting an opening attack on someone before they're in range. Don't take this as an attack, I'm just asking the question and hoping to understand the logic. I'm hoping that you come back with a good reason so I can go "Ohhhh, I get it". I'm OCD about not leaving my builds at 2/3, 4/5, etc. talent points so I'd like to go 3/3 in the critical % talent but I cannot stop thinking about the usefulness of lightning spire.

    Huttball Guide

I haven't had a chance to play a hutball game since beta so I'm wondering if same factions can still play against each other like they could in beta. I'm mainly asking due to the 2:1 ratio of empire to republic. If empire can go up against empire in hutball then the faction imbalance shouldn't matter as much for queue times. Sorry for the off topic question but an answer would be appreciated!
