  1. just adding a post to possibly allow a bioware dev to see this attrocity
  2. bioware would probably still go on without ever mentioning anything regarding the issue
  3. yea, i made another thread asking if i was looking in the wrong place for the jedi knight pvp armor as i couldnt find anything that was even remotely looking like something a jedi would wear. its kind of sad as the lvl 40 pvp commendation medium armor, the bladefury set i think its called, looks completely awesome. too bad they could go on more with that art style.
  4. *** r u serious? thats the junk we have to wear? why does bioware not put any medium robe style armors in for the pvp gear?
  5. Ok, i have been searching for the centurion and battlemaster medium pvp gear that is a robe style for my jedi sentinel, but have found nothing so far. the republic fleet has an entire section for all light armor robe styles, but the medium armors are all non robe style armors. they all look like something a trooper would wear or something. the weird thing is the centurion and battlemaster vendors for medium armor sell lightsabers, but no robe style armors. the bladefury set is the only medium robe looking set ive found so far that is bought with commendations, and its orange and requires lvl 40. i believe coruscant has a white looking set that requires lvl 50, but that set cant be found on the republic fleet and is only sometimes visible in the pvp vendors store on coruscant (it bugs in and out for me to see sometimes). what vendors sell all of the pvp medium armor for jedi sents for all tiers? or did bioware forget to put those textures in? thanks.
  6. because a post like this is clearly more mature than the people crying
  7. Game Mechanic Reasons People are Unhappy: there will be more griefing by higher lvl basement dwellers who have fetishes about killing people less geared than them on pvp servers just to be mean people are always concerned about their name or guild name being taken (everyone having the same opportunity to grab it fixes this) people cant lvl from the start with their friends battlegrounds arent tiered, so from day one there will be lvl 20's with more skills fighting lvl 10's and new players Auction system has a chance of being unfair due to early access players having hard to get items up for sale first, and making more money General knowledge of all MMO's that getting in as soon as you can has benefits, especially on competitive PvP servers Server Discrepancies that Dont Make Sense: Live feeds show all servers at light/standard load but yet BW states there are still issues (over 700k players were forced in at once on the last open beta, only ~100k allowed today) BW states they arent stress testing servers right now but then contradict themselves stating they are Other Reasons People are Unhappy: Some people pre-ordered on day 1/2/3 and didnt get their codes due to vendor/system errors (origin is included in this) and are therefor left out even tho they gave their business from the start Some people didn't know they had to register their codes on the website as nothing stated they needed to, and fall into the same boat as the people in my above point BW did a fairly poor job at communicating what day people would be getting access untill after the outbreak of complaints BW appears to be attempting to hide the mass amount of dissatisfaction by closing threads (this one will most likely be closed too) People not getting in when others do just makes them unhappy in general Rumors of dates outside the stated dates getting access before others Rumors of family/friends/friends of friends/etc of BW employees getting in before everyone else regardless of pre-order date I am just listing numerous thigns i have seen/read. some i agree with, others i dont. the ones i mostly agree with (and which i fall into) are the errors on vendors parts and not having the proper info displayed that your pre-order code had to be logged on your swtor.com account (origin and swtor accounts are seperate, but the same also in a weird way, or at least were when pre-ordered were allowed). im guessing i'll get flamed for posting this but whatever, it recaps everything people are complaining about.
  8. a tiered launch would have been fine if they stated that your entrance date was based on when you logged the code on your account rather than the actual day you pre-ordered. add this in with gamestop and numerous other retailers messing up CE codes for the 1st week, specific retailers screwing up codes, origin even screwing up codes. also, as many have pointed out, all servers are at light/standard load via live feeds. they might all mvoe to standard by this evening. if they all move to heavy/full then bioware clearly took nothing from their stress test. im not mad that i didnt get in, i am mad that the proper info was not presented in stores explaining that you had to log the code online to ensure your early access date. some people have lives and dont live on swtor.com every day. i didnt even know to log my code (which i got on the 22nd) till the 28th due to a friend telling me to go and make sure i log it. this isnt a QQ or a "i hate you bioware" post, it is simply pointing out that a handful of players who pre-ordered on the first few days have been left out due to improper and/or a lack of proper information. giving this is the biggest launch in BW and possibly EA's history, these are somewhat large mistakes, and the backlash isn't really out of the ordinary. the lack of communication and only 5 waves on the first day is somewhat disheartening. the community is what makes an mmo great, as is the support from the devs and proper communication. right wrong or indiferent of the reasons why, an unhappy customer base is not what you want on day one. also, to everyone who states "i hope the whiners quit as i dont wanna play with people like that", this type of comment is just as immature as them screaming in all caps.
  9. i would have thought they would have at least gotten through the july pre-orders on day 1. that allows all the mistakes at game stores and people not knowing to log their codes on their account could have gotten in due to the lack of info from BW in the first place. i pre-ordered on the 22nd, didnt know to upload my code till the 28th due to having no clue (a friend told me to log me code). this entire tiered/wave/whatever is completely lame. we know the servers are at light/standard statuses, live feeds have shown this.
  10. no offense, but live feeds show all servers at light/standard statuses right now. if you have concerns about your servers at these statuses and need to "monitor" them (after prooving you could slam 700k+ people on at once with no stability issues) then you clearly didn't prepare for this type of a launch. maybe on your next mmo, you will have learned that this did nothing but make your customer base mad (especially when the facts slap your commetns in the face).
  11. http://www.own3d.tv/#/live/42146 all the servers are light and standard, ***?
  12. i pre-ordered on the 22nd, but didnt enter my code till the 27th (didnt know i had to as i didnt know they would do something as dumb as waves of access). guess its my fault. gg. no clue why waves stop now tho, figured on the biggest day in biowares history they would be around a bit more and would have at least kept doing waves every few hours to passify the fans who have waited forever. guess not. silly us. inbeforquotedandtoldtocryelsewhere
  13. I don't see the purpose of only 4 waves as the people who ive talked to said all servers are still in "light" status, and the thanksgiving beta had a way higher stress load.
