  1. One of the main problems I had with rotation is that there are just too many buttons. I honestly don't understand the need for all of them and can't keep track. even putting then in order didn't help me because there are just too many, and just what is a 20% chance of a 4% bonus to a 50% increase? What made me think my character was weak was this. Don't remember the planets name right now, it was a Prison, I was 48 and there were two 46 golds that I could not beat, couldn't even kill one of them. Tried Kira, tried Doc, nothing worked. Then in walks a 42 Commando, 42!, who wades trhough them like they were made of butter. That's what made me think the Sentinel was weak...
  2. I quit playing, (Got Skyrim actually, Dawnguard was awesome) but I never shut my account off and some friends at work talked me into playing again. The main reason I quit was because of how weak the Jedi classes were. I had a 48 Sentinel that though geared was so weak and well just crappy that I broke five mice because I slammed my fist down upon them in rage (never did that once playing Skyrim), one was an $80 Naga. So I deleted the Sentinel and quit playing, but as I said my account is still on. My friends have told me that a lot has changed and I should try playing a Jedi again, but I look at this from the perspective of having a cheating spouse, you may forgive but you never trust them again. So has anything really changed? Are the ranged players still overpowered and the Jedi classes wimps that no one wants or have they corrected the issue? Frankly, all I ever wanted to play was the Jedi, and the fact that they were such a horrible class, well it enraged me, hence the demise of five mice. I actually broke one in half with my fist and as I said, this never happened once playing Skyrim. So, i guess I've taken the long route to a simple question, are the Jedi still crap or are they fun to play now? Yes/No
  3. I just can't take playing a Sentinel anymore. They are terminally weak and the DPS sucks. They are a sick joke in PvP, since you can’t hit what you have to chase and ranged dps chews you to pieces. At level 46 with 11545 hit points base I can barely kill lvl 42 Golds, can't finish most quests without assistance and I die too damn much. A friend’s Sentinel at level 50 with tricked out gear can't afford his repair bills. This is not a positive forward looking view!!! The Sentinel is just a crap class and I am sorry I ever started one, let alone made it my main. The last straw for me was today when I saw a 43 Commando solo a 42 Champion. I think I used my quota of dirty words for the month!!! I deleted my Sentinel, canceled my subscription and removed BioWare’s software from my hard drive. Let me explain why I am that upset. I followed this game since 2007 when I first heard of it’s development, reading about it in PC Gamer and other magazines. I registerd on the website, co-founded a guild and pre-ordered the game. All I wanted was to be a Jedi Knight, and to see what a crap class BioWare has created in its place truly disgusts me. I feel betrayed by BioWare... The sad part is I know they don’t care. Guild Wars 2 where are you??? http://www.guildwars2.com/en/media/videos/#gw2-video-trailer-02 Safe Journey, and may the force be with you....
  4. Griefing is defined as actions taken against another player which give no ingame benefit, such as Valor, Experience, Loot or Credits; with the sole benefit being satisfaction from the grief you have caused another person. On a PvE server is it considered Griefing for a Level 50 member of the alternate faction to Flag PvP and stealth, for the purpose of following another player until they use an AoE (which flags them) and then kill them. Is there any recourse that can be taken here? Or, as is happening, must I play an alt until the individual in question gets bored and leaves the area?
  5. Is it possible to make Storage, Mail, and Market area's speeder free?
  6. But I'd be able to watch a blue ray movie!
  7. She isn't as pretty as she looked last night, I'm hung over and just how much money did I spend. Yes I'm talking about Star Wars:The Old Republic. I have a 43 Sentinel with hit points on the high side of 10K. This is better than most 45-46 level players I am running into in the game. So why am I always dying, and can not finish quest and story line areas that are listed as being level 39 or 40. This game was fun when I started, where did that go, I guess it's just the way beer works. I play these games because they are supposed to be fun. That is the only reason. When I look at the expense, of the game and of the computer upgrades it cost me to play SW:TOR, I find that had I bought a PS3 and Skyrim, I would at least be able to watch a blue ray movie when I was mad because I died again, and I would have spent less money. Isn't this how beer works, I should have just gone ugly early and saved a hundred bucks because what I woke up next to is, well... Yes this is also how I felt about EverQuest 2, Lord of the Rings Online, Aion, Age of Conan, Rift and God knows what else. Maybe I should lower my expectations and not expect these games to be fun. Of course that's a stupid idea, I just need a beer...
  8. I'm actually stunned that so many have fixated on my, "misuse", of the word Ninja. This is a issue with an easy fix, grey out the need button if the stats don't fit your class...
  9. Back in the 90's there was a lawsuit against Hooters alleging sexual discrimination for not hiring males as servers. I believe that there are still people laughing, I know I am. I go to Hooters for, well, the Hooters...
  10. I am tired of being in an instance or a group with some jerk Ninja who selects need for everything or who even rolls on a class piece he can't use properly. For example, a Commando needing a piece of Light Armor with Willpower, when there is a Jedi Sage Healer in the group who could actually use it. I suggest. Please, make all instance rolls class specific to primary stats. So that in the above circumstance the need option would not be available to a commando yet everyone could select greed or disassemble. If you don't do this, the consequence will be that people will not group randomly... I no longer do because I am personally sick of this s***
  11. I do not feel that the death penalty in SW:TOR is sever enough. I am personally sick and tired of the idiot who wont allow people to self heal, wont listen to group discussion' but instead charges into combat getting everyone killed. Instead of saying, "It happens; It's okay," etc., they should be using words starting in A, B, C, F, or M. I'm sure I left something out here, but you get my point... I suggest that we use and EXP loss or EXP debt system to make death hurt more. I'm personally sick of idiots and do not group for heroics unless I am with my own guild members. So the next time you are on a planet with 130 other people who wont respond to your request to group it's probably because they are sick of idiots.
  12. Could we please get contact lists for In Game Mail. It would be nice to be able to send one mail to everyone on a friends or Guild list. Thank you.
  13. There just isn't enough text available in GMOTD and GUILD INFO to express these concerns. When half the group is in a voice server and the other is bored because they can't hear the discussion, it sucks cause, Damn!!! Just today I was in a four man group, I was main tank and a guild mate was off tank. We were discussing order of battle (a military term for who you attack first, second and who is in charge of what goes wrong (adds, healer agro, etc.) The idiot healer got bored and opened fire on five golds and two silvers, getting his dumb *** killed within three seconds leaving us to try and finish the fight with out heals. Then the add/unexpected event etc., guy starts looting in the middle of the fight because he knows hes going to go down in a minute and thinks that in all the confusion he can score. Granted In Game Voice will never solve the IDIOT factor, but at least the stupid healer would have known what we were talking about and held off, well being an Idiot!!! So, I want to send out a guild wide message (Politely) using the in game mail system, hopefully getting at least a few peoples attention. This was possible in several MMO's not worthy of mentioning due to the SUCK factor. So I was hoping that if this feature was not available, that I might catch the attention of a DEV and ask ever so politely if they could include a guild wide mail option in a future patch. As always, I want to tell the Dev's thank you for this awesome game.
  14. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to send in game mail to all members of my guild? I am having issues with guild members not having in game voice clients loaded and not understanding the basic rules of raiding. For example, the healer should not start a fight because he's bored, when he can't hear the tank and off tank discussing Order of Battle strategy in voice chat!!! I really need to be able to address this issue to the entire guild and don't want to cut and paste the same message a hundred time. If this is not possible would a GM please take notice and add this feature to the next patch? Thank you for any help, positive comments please.
