  1. So it seems Bounty Supplies is supposed to be difficult or expensive to gather. From what you said yeah, there is a way to get there ... I just can't get there right now as I was hoping. Seems they would make the lower levels, like Newcomer, a bit easier to attain and help get people addicted to it. Thanks for the replies. At least I know I wasn't missing something simple.
  2. I'd really like to get the Risha Customization 9 but it requires "Newcomer" standing in Bounty Supply. Since there are no Bounty Packs for sale in the Cartel I'd have to spend millions on the GTN and hope I got enough reputation. Without those packs you might as well take Bounty Supply out of the game.
  3. This! I've leveled several Snipers but after playing non DPS characters for awhile I'm running my first gunslinger. Sweeping Gunfire (suppressive fire) is awesome! High damage, very wide area of attack, long range, no cool down. I'm only level 17 but my rotation right now is really simple: Sweeping Gunfire, everyone dies. Need to kill 45 Black Suns? No problem, I'll have that done real quick with Sweeping Gunfire. I know it won't be this easy (and really, it's almost too easy) but it's a lot of fun right now.
  4. My scoundrel is a female human named Soney Hobbs. All my female characters are similar: Sona and Sonae. Hobbs is the family name from Roy Hobbs of The Natural. Here's a slideshow of pictures: http://s241.photobucket.com/user/northtexan95/slideshow/Soney?sort=2 I love the dialogue of the female smuggler and how she hollers during space missions.
  5. Here's Soney. She's a medic Scoundrel who likes to shoot. She's wearing the complete Concealment adaptive armor. http://s241.photobucket.com/user/northtexan95/slideshow/Soney?sort=2 Update: I've added a few more pictures to the slideshow.
  6. On Alderaan: "Normally I prefer not to kill but in this case it's for a good cause."
  7. Ah ... so that was you. It was funny seeing you trying to snipe from behind my shield.
  8. Here's my agent, Sanoe. She has many skills. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/northtexan95/swtor2012-11-0320-41-58-09.png http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/northtexan95/swtor2012-11-0323-08-17-98.png http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/northtexan95/swtor2012-11-0321-14-43-24.png http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/northtexan95/swtor2012-11-0401-34-26-37.png[
  9. The "can't target" but makes him much more difficult to die. I didn't want to spend hours overcoming the bug so I teamed up with a level 32 Sith Juggernaut on the Imperial Fleet, flew in my ship to Jadus and together we killed him pretty easily. Teaming up saved me a lot of time and frustration.
  10. She has a total of six kits with one being to return her to default. I didn't like any except this one. Unfortunately, the preview you get of them is very small. http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/ff61/northtexan95/swtor/Screenshot_2011-12-22_20_55_32_290644.jpg
  11. There's been a few times when I had to keep hitting a bad guy wiht Neural Jolt because he kept switching to someone else. So it doesn't always keep their attention but you can always get it back with another Neural Jolt.
  12. Right now I'm at level 28, she wants to talk, but when I select her I get a big red-lettered message saying something like "must complete missions". Seems the game is waiting for me to complete a specific mission or for me to level up. Like others have basically said, spamming her gifts will help but it won't speed things up greatly. You have to wait for the story to progress.
  13. Her favorite things are luxury items. She also likes Military Gear, Technology, Republic Memorabilia and Imperial Memorabilia. She will NOT like any Courting items until (I assume) much later on. Making choices she approves of in conversations and buying her lots of stuff is the key. It's gonna take a long time so don't get in a hurry. Most of the time in conversations I get a +20 or a -1 from her. I once got a +126 but I don't remember when. Luxary items get something like a +59. You can't give her more than one gift at a time. If you try a second one right after the first you'll receive a message like "Not Ready". However, it only takes a few minutes for her to be ready. So if want to buy a bunch of gifts at the same time you can give you one, walk around for a minute, and give her another. It doesn't matter if you give her the same gift twice, three times, or whatever. On Nar Shaddar there's one Level 2 Luxury item and I've given it to her several times with increasing points each time. I also noticed that as her approval of me has risen her responses to my gifts are more friendly. At first she was "um, thanks". Now that I'm about 20% of max with her she seems more grateful. I'm waiting to log in tonight so I can't double check right now but I believe you have a 0 to 10,000 scale for how a character likes you. I have her up to about 2,000 after buying her a half dozen items and having her run around with me on Nar Shaddar. She's starting to open up a bit - we just had a conversation about her leaving her family behind. One more thing ... in any conversation with her or someone else, if you praise her she likes it. For example, after defeating a certain robot on Nar Shaddar I'm asked by a Republic doctor if I need any help. I reply that my medic has me taken care of. She liked that.
  14. Same problem here. I bought a new mouse for the game but can't get the buttons to work. Hopefully this will be available soon. I do love the idea of using a mouse button for CTRL or SHIFT. I hadn't thought of but it's a tremendous idea!
