i would of loved "heal to full" or "learn to play" or "make them pay" but that would probably not be the best since nibbon is going to be posting questions later as the class rep

they are mirror classes so everything the sage does the sorc does its just certain moves have different names. there is 0 difference in any way in terms of dps between a sage and a sorc.

i assume since I am on the same server as nibbon and i see identical names of nibbon and kindran in carnage gaming ( i do not stalk you nibbon but I do notice people on the rep fleet with similar forum names) I am going to assume both of them are in carnage gaming on the shadowlands server

Um nibbon/elidhu has done number crunching and I have as well parsing that proves resolve gives you an edge over overkill for both heals and dps. If I wasn't on vacation and doing this from my iPhone I would link parses as well as graphs I made that disagree with your point. I'm not posting to say that what you are doing is bad but simply without seeing the data you have done to support your point (aka if you could link us tests you have done to prove your point) I'm going to say I'm not convinced. I will say though the difference between the two is small but resolve does come out ahead due to the fact that most specs Choose to spec Into the 6% willpower bonus talent and it works in our favor more consistently. However if you can provide us data to look at I think several of us will examine it

If referring to the very very end of the fight i just put my fib on the platform i am standing on and it hits TFB (look for sever force stacks to verify if it hits if there is not another sage in raid). I sure if your really interested in learning how to use it and my explanation doesn't make sense I know NIbbon streams so maybe you can youtube his streams his toon's name is Nibbon and his guild is carnage gaming

refer to nibbon's guide if you are unfamiliar with the class but they are equal in almost all regards with balance being better for highly mobile fights and tk being better for less mobile fights but both still are about equal. what makes a bigger difference is your personal preference (bursty glass cannon tk or dot spec balance) and how well you can execute the rotation. from my own experience I never felt like I got the most out of either spec really till I got my 4 set bonus (weaken mind has chance to give you 5%alacrity) with balance being slightly better for me. I did feel that once I got my 4 set and better gear in general both specs seemed to balance out pretty evenly based on my personal experience. I do play both specs and can parse fairly high in both it just comes down to timing when to use certain abilities based on the raid situation. to sum everything up besides mobility issues and having to watch more procs to capitalize on your dps for tk there really is no damning aspect of the spec that makes it inferior in my opinion

I only did a few parses earlier ill have to do more crunching later tonight. If i can get some data together and I find something significant ill post and let other people test it out

the saving of your power clicky relic with mental alacrity does that only apply to balance spec based on your knowledge or for tk (mental alacrity has lower cd) would it just be better after using cd's on the opener (ik not to use FP on a turb insta crit) to just use them as they come up? I tried playing around with it on the dummy earlier to try this out but was hoping to see what other people think (maybe kindran or someone else might know if you haven't number crunched it )

thank you for tips I actually am lvl 55 and have pretty much full 69 mods in all my gear(accuracy capped). still trying to get set piece bonuses (have 2 set pvp 1 pve , working on the other set pieces if I can get lucky on loot roles in pug groups since this is an alt). Till I get my set bonus's set up im not really expecting much dps wise. I was just curious about the hybrid play style since I have heard from other players on live that it is a good spec for certain fights and wanted to learn how to play it.

just leveled my gunslinger up and after playing around with sharpshooter I heard 3/18/23 aka hybrid is a good spec to run with but was trying to find a thread with more info on this spec . Anyone have any threads you can point me to?

you can also use torassistant to make noises when your procs pop( can even set it up to tell you when you can get the proc again) but be warned its much better used to time dots at least in my experience. When I play telekinetics I typically do what the guy above me said to do to help you in any way possible.
