  1. Sure, if I want to see the movie in 5 Frames Per Seconds (instead of 24). Or read the books with half the paragraphs blurred out during the battle parts.
  2. If you play a darkside republic player, you'll be insulting people too. I have a light side BH and I can be mean or nice. In any case, the Siths are known to use the darkside. They focus on power and stepping all over people for it, making decisions that bring pain and fear to others. Betraying and killing each other, innocents ect. You don't have to follow down that path, but a majority of the sith around you in your story do.
  3. I am not quitting because I have entered 2 months. I am not quitting because I have an amazing guild. I would quit if I didn't have the above. The game is amazing, but it gets old fast at 10 FPS in PvP situations with the lowest graphics and a great computer.
  4. I don't know what did it. Maybe it was the expectations that 1.1 would fix my FPS issues on a better than average computer. 10FPS surprisingly takes the fun out of warzones. Maybe it's the fiasco that every player in the game saw a mile away when they released the patch notes about Illum - we knew the faction imbalance is massive, and there was going to be no other outcome. Maybe its because lvl 50 suddenly feels grindy (PvP wise once you are geared up but still under 60 valor rank). Or...maybe it's just me.
  5. What about if expertise didn't matter in warzones, just world PvP?
  6. Don't lie to us Bioware! Can't keep that one a secret much longer!
  7. Look at the costumer service Forums. There are a gazillion people with amazing (or better than average computers) who get 10-15 fps in warzones.
  8. If they fixed the FPS issues...server could go down for a week for all i care.
  9. Glad to see it's not just me....it's so laggy my skills take 3 seconds to cast (if they do at all)
  10. The only fix i could think of would be to allow same factions to fight in other warzones as well...but that'd be a bit lore breaking
  11. Sounds more fun to me than running in circle after 3 points with 20 fps
  12. Probably because the empire gets to work on the strategy in huttball 24/7, while its basically a new experience for most Republic players when they finally get their feet in the warzone.
  13. What are you talking about? In PvP while your damage is "meh" you can soak up damage for your team. By the time you are level 35 you have 1 extra stun, charge stun, the channel of choke is gone, you get AOE slows. The most important part of tanking in PvP is the shield you put on players. You'll take 50% of their incoming damage, allowing them to be godlike and destroy/heal forever.
  14. I havent gotten to fight other republic players yet in Huttball.
  15. Huttball, the one warzone that's different from every single other MMO, personally my favorite. Yet, because the republic has far less players, Empire gets to fight Empire Huttball (Which is perfectly fine). But as republic, we're basically tossed around between Aldaraan (barely playable for many due to horrible FPS) and Void Star. I have played enough warzones to get to rank 20 (I know it's not that high) but I have seen huttball...3 times. If I knew I wouldn't be stuck in Alderaan I'd queue a lot more. Will that even be fixed? Or is huttball going to stay almost exclusively for the Empire?
  16. That's not true, at all. Maybe YOUR eye can't, but most people's can and do. http://www.boallen.com/fps-compare.html In any case, I tried disabling shadows but very little has changed. Not sure what to do
  17. I already have, there is very little change, I play with everything in low except textures in medium (no difference with low)
  18. Hey, my specs are: Radeon HD6850 (1gig) (updated to AMD 11.12) 4 Gigs of Ram Intel® Core2 Quad CPU Q6600 @2.40GHz (4CPUs), ~2.4GHz My resolution seems to work better on 1440x900 than in the default lower on. (In terms of FPS). I see a ~5FPS difference between low/medium/high quality, I have turned everything else completely down but no luck. In general, I get 60FPS, in Coruscant / the sith place () I drop to 25-40FPS. But in warzones (not counting the waiting area) my fps drops to a constant 15-25FPS only, a constant 10 if there are many people at one point (such as middle of Alderaan). It's not so fun to PvP with it to be honest. I have tried: -Updating my driver -Defragment -Clean temp files ect any tips? (The FPS indicator is green all the time, should I just upgrade my card?)
  19. Working on your own cooldowns is one thing, working in order to get the best out of the worse situation in PvP (Aka learning how to parry multiple people's CDs), and working even tighter in groups. A lot of people will suffer from getting zerged, which is obvious. But amongst the top teir PvPers, it's easily (and often) arguable that they will be found in larger abundance on the underdog faction. Even if it were just for the idea of getting a challenge, instead of wins handed to you (and even then, there is more to it than just the challenge)
  20. It's very well know that in this game, the Empire will likely outnumber the Republic 2:1. There are so disadvantages from being the most populated in a server, and vice versa. The leading faction will likely get into a habit of zerging. The greatest number will likely win, where players will use whatever skill they want with a decent rate of success. On the other hand, the smaller faction will get ganked and will have be forced to develop some kind of survival mode. This "survival mode" might take a bit to take off, but soon enough players will need to learn how to use their cooldowns perfectly. Their cooldown management from survival mode will make them eventually simply know their class inside out. While the majority faction will have a larger percentage of players who were used to overwhelming encounteres with no dire need to learn to use their cooldown against enemy's. Many argue that the Empire will be with the most PvPers, and that may be, but the Republic will have the most Elite of the PvPers, who roll the less populated faction looking forward to a challenge. That being said, the out numbering won't matter much in a warzone, where the less populated faction has devellop tight groups to survive the world PvP, greater need for coordination ect. That being said, good luck to you all, and remember that for every time you gank due to numbers, you only get weaker, while the ganked might just have learned something out of the encounter
