A new planet is certainly something to be happy about. It comes to mind though that I walk around the current planets and current content, and I see vast empty or unused spaces which serve no purpose other than the visual.
So I say why not work on flushing out the current content, flushing out the current planets: Add new stories, new house and city and landscape interiors and exteriors, new characters, new quests for all level ranges, new epic quests, new epic group quests that take you across the galaxy with your friends in an amazing story with several outcomes, add new responses and reactions in conversations, new side-quests, new secret areas for the explorers out there, new situations, new kinds of more story and strategy driven quests -- these are great fun. New PvP games, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, new spaceship, space and companion capabilities, all for every level. Add in recustomisation options for people who wish to alter their appearance if they like... why not? People want something they enjoy, they want it exactly as they envision, and visions of course sometimes change.
Add more class specific stories and possibilities for all levels to distinguish who your character is by the choices the player makes and evolve the characters further, making classes more replayable. Everyone loves a good story. Add in factions, who if you help give you access to items, discounts, areas, faction-quests, add in positives and negatives to joining factions, light or dark side points related to joining and helping some of them.
Flush out and make the current world amazing, and never stop. This is how you build a loyal, strong fanbase, and utterly hook new perspective players. You keep the content coming and you keep it fun, and we will be happy to continue coming back, ever subscribing for more.
