Please everyone, understand that this second wave is taking a bit more...why we are unshure of the exact reasons, here are plausible reasons for you to think about: Many are experiencing "database errors" when posting...this COULD also be part of the reason if their system is in some way having errors and they are attempting to fix this. There was also repoarts earlier that some of the servers were having issues, and as a result this could also be why...they may be trying to fix these issues first before they send out another wave. And the last, but absolute least plausible reason....they are feeding off of our torture and enjoying every moment of it as they laugh in glee at their success lol...again this is a 1% chance LOL (and I'm joking on this people....don't take this last reason as seriousness...sheesh). LOL Anyways, Apparently there is a ton of Database error going on, so either the forums are over flooded or the system in general is over flooded, or this is part of those "issues" they are having! Hopefully we'll see wave 2 soon and the issues don't turn out to be major ones!

ATTN: Got some news for those that may not know about it... the wife has looked up some info, says she found some posts where apparently servers were having some issues... Expect wave times to be farther appart until those server issues are resolved...I have to agree with her that mayhaps we havn't seen the second wave because of these "issues".

Yeah it seems like the influx isn't hitting until 10-15 min after the supposed wave goes out. **BUMP** hopefully we'll get more information on who gets in and when so we can see where people stand at. Good luck Decemberists!

well one thing that these trolls and other people are helping with is keeping the page up higher in the ranks (aka bumping), so don't even complain to them about "uselss posts". Anyways, we are 3 minutes away from wave 2!!!! PLEASE MAKE SURE: Check your Launcher Check your Spam Folder Check your emails if you get in, please POST the time you registered (not ordered) the early access code, and if you got in or not. What would be helpful to the OP would be if you guys that get in can please highlight your texts in Red or Green Completely so that it stands out from the plain text of other posts. Thanks!!!! OMG of course everyone is going to get in today... Look...they KNOW they could have gotten everyone in yesterday, THEY KNOW THIS but they didn't, for whatever ungodly reason... So today, they are attempting to get everyone in but make it seem like it will take a much longer time to get the rest in... Look, there is no way in hell that there were more access codes in the last 8 DAYS than there were over the previous 5 months...no way in hell!!!!! They have already suffered a major loss of potential clientel as is for making people wait the extra day, that is also a known fact now, I highly doubted they wanted to suffer even more, but the longer they now wait the more they will loose (it's not because people are idiots, it's how business works, no matter what business you're in...MMO or not....they all work the same on gaining/loosing clientel)...they are willing to suffer and loose potential clientel, but for what reason they will not announce... was it because they ****ed up? maybe it was becuase the servers were full? what if they just needed more servers? Maybe someone there is being a jerk and making people suffer for fun? Perhaps it was due to technical issues? Maybe they wanted people to experience a smoother game play? They won't give you the TRUE reason as to why...instead they give you "we just had a high spike of registered codes"....if you havn't played other MMO's, you wouldn't know its just bs...it's the same as if saying "we are working on it because we messed up"....Blizzard, Turbine, Sony, and many other's have used the same tactic to cover their asses (utilizing what would seem like a valid reason when it's validity is not there). But either way, we should ALL get in today, they'll just make it look like it is so much more work and will take a large amount of time to do (where they could have just shot it all off in 1 wave....think weekend beta test, even just one day of that test, no way in hell there are more pre-orders than that, yet they can get out way more for the test than they can for a tiny tiny amount of code registrations? .....yeah....if you can't see past the jedi mind trick, you got issues...) I agree and understand that there are a lot of code resitrations right now, but seriously....there can't possibly be anywhere near the number there was in the past 5 months total...no way in hell...that would make absolutely no sense... I just think they are trying to span it all out due to number of already assigned people and then HENCE why they cut it back a good shot to just 2 day invites (server loads, etc.) I mean we can all see that they could have invited all of the people on right now in ONE wave, just like the weekend beta in a way, so no reason they couldn't possibly do that again in one wave or whatever... I couldn't see it continuing to drag on so much unless they are just trying to save their own asses from people realizing "oh crap....yeah we messed up, we so could have done this yesterday...shhh lets make them think we couldn't...we won't look as bad" It's a great tactic believe me! But in reality, I think they waited because of the issues they were having (which should have been fixed with the server maintenance), they needed more servers (which would have been fixed durring the server maintenance), and they wanted the population to even out a bit and lower somehwhat before they let more people in (which would be the main reason)... Hopefully their reasoning for this move will be verified this morning, otherwise expect to see a lot of nerd ragers flamming forums again, this time worse than ever before. lol 17 minutes to GOOOOOOO

lol you'll get in tomorrow, no worries. HOnestly, if people don't get in tomorrow, expect to see some seerious hell on the forums, youtube, forums outside of SWTOR, on facebook, twitter, etc....it will be extremely bad... So yeah, might as well say you're definately getting in tomorrow. Hell only 8 day's total left, so even at 2 a wave, that's 4 waves...1 a wave, is 8 waves, (like they did today). Hope you enjoy it!

Yes, we have all had this established already for the many "2 year olds" as you so decided to call them. They should be thankful for the fact that they will have early game access and at least 4 days still....but you're still not getting it... In the world of Business, as a business owner you can't sit there and tell clientel "stop acting like 2 year olds, quit your ************, don't raise your kids like your parents raised you"....that kind of attitude is worse than being one of those 2 year olds, even though you're attempting to be one of them, but rather "attempting" to sound mature.....guess what, you still failed....rule #1 of a business: don't expect any clients to be intelligent...make sure everything is set up so clear and dumbed down that even newborns can understand it...rule #2 of a business: the customer is always right...fail to follow this and guess what, you hurt your own company more than you're helping it, and that's a known fact... So while we may say "OMG 129 out of 139 is so awsome!", to the common consumer, it's far from awsome...they will always be pesamistic but never see the optomistic side, EVER...welcome to American clientel... 5 months in 3 days, 1 week in one day... oviously they don't care about any other factor, that's what they can see... OR they actually can see it in an even WORSE light... 160 Day's in 3 day's time, 7 day's in one day's time... Just think...all they see is that "hey, in a 4 hour period, 3 times now, Bioware got the first 160 day's worth of Early Game Access Codes in...but they couldn't fit only 7 more day's in on the 3rd day? Instead they have to waste an entire DAY just to finish 7 more day's worth?" ....it doesn't look pretty, and believe me when I say this, clientel that is not satisified generally attempt to leave a nasty comment that all can see... Today we have Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Google Plus, texting, cell phones, and many other methods of fast communication....this means that just within a few seconds, to a few minutes, people all over will hear that above comment, followed by a loooooong spewing of false information that will just make Bioware seem so terrible as a company....easily they can loose thousands, tens of thousands, even hudreds of thousands all because of ONE client saying something wrong because they are angry. Now, what is the smarter thing to do? Clearly it was to get everyone in on this day...even if it meant working over hours...so what if maybe the last wave got people in only 1-2 hours before maintenance, those people wouldn't give a crap, they would have gotten in...the company just stopped a potential loss of hundreds of thousands of future potential clientel. It's also very very close to the holiday's, and guess what, holdiay's are major selling times...if you get all that negative going durring that time frame, sales will go down, not up, no matter what the "hype" was.... But Bioware didn't do what was better for their company in terms of future potential clientel, and this is probably because they had something else that was in need of being taken care of first: also known as a really good reason. But do you really think those "2 year olds" are going to understand any of that? Do you really think any of them will understand any of this??? Of course not... But the sad thing is that most "clientel" understand the rules of business...as they have been flooded with "the customer is always right" for decades....so they will forever think that they are right, meaning that yes....in their eye's Bioware is evil, Bioware is disrespectufl, Bioware if full of fail, however they may want to word it... There's honestly no point in trying to tell a group of people who so passionately now hate the company, think it's customer service is the worst out there, and completely forgot about how much worse 90% of the other MMO companies out there really are compared to EA/Bioware....it's how America was raised to think, it's how American's have turned out to be... I don't blame anyone for being angry or upset. I for one and beyond pissed off that I can't get into the game tonight, I can do the math and the figures and I can understand that it was a very bad business move and that it makes absolutely NO sense what so ever... As for the "up to 5 days early" crap....you seriously going to try that junk on customers? Look...go to a website...click on a product...guess what, you may see something that says "1 year Limited Warranty" or maybe "Lifetime Guarantee" off to the side or near it...you do realize that 99.3% of the clientel that see's that site and buy's that product will NOT click the link, but rather "assume" that the product they just bought has a 1 year limited warranty or lifetime guarantee? Even if you put the words "click here" under it, they still wouldn't do it, you just reduced the numbers down to roughly 98%....so people would see "up to 5 day's early" and what they understand, is "Pre order the game, and you will be guaranteed 5 day's of early access"...it's inevitable....yes, it was a poor poor poor way for EA/Bioware to advertize their early access....and guess what, people didn't read any fine print or check forums or anyting ot try to understand how the early access works, they simply went out and pre-ordered and then figured that they were guaranteed those 5 days... YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID....that's a known fact, and both sides made a very stupid, stupid move.... The saving grace, however, is that SWTOR will have a huge fan base SIMPLY for the fact that it has "Star Wars" in the title of it, and EA/Bioware are depending on that for thier main supply of permanent players. The next group is the ones that are tired of the messups that the other companies (mainly Blizzard, Turbine, and Sony) have made with their MMO's, so they are willing to suffer anything to simply play something new....that's their insurance....what does that leave you with? very few player base....enough to get you buy meeting your bills and paying your employee's....but then think a few months down, then a few more months, etc etc. Negativity spreads like a world ending virus, while positivity moves like a sloth....welcome to living as a Human Being, surrounded by Human Beings...it's inevitable... You see the point? I wouldn't worry about telling others off or trying to make them stop complaining or telling them comments that make you look even less mature, like saying "don't raise your kids like your parents raised you"....just let them flame away and hope that EA/Bioware has a backup plan to recover from the existing (not potential) future clientel loss due to this ONE...small tiny thing of making many players wait for just one more day. ---- So I may be very upset with the fact that I didn't get into the game tonight, BUT, I am more than certain that it was because there were other issues that clearly had to be taken care of first that were more important, and I understand that EA/Bioware is willing to sacrifice a lot of potential business due to the importance of the other issue... Do I hate them? No... Will I continue to recommend the game? Of course! Am I going to quit? ...why? All because of one stupid extra day I have to wait? Big deal... But i'm not like the majority of American Consumers.... And I"m not like a large majority of people who just felt like they got screwed. All in all though, you'll always have the negative side of a business, and you'll forver be surrounded by people that need their hands held each step of the way.

There could be some hidden waves or suprize waves....but officially they had stated that the 8th wave was the final one for tonight until tomorrow... Sad yes I know, but...hopefully they'll give us one more wave to frikkin let the rest of us in LOL. We can be hopeful...but I doubt we'll see it.

...wait, you had to register the "Pre-Access" Code to play the Beta? That makes no sense....I don't know anyone that had to put in their Early Game Pre-Access codes just to do a beta (I even did the weekend Beta and dindn't have to put that info in...) You sure it was the Early game Access code you had to put in? And if you are 100% sure that it was the Early Game Access code, then put in a ticket and ask them what's going on, especially if you registered the Early game Access Code in october...

OK: Here's some info for some people... Whatever day you ordered your game doesn't matter When you order your game, you should have recieved a "Pre-Access Code". That code had to be imput under your account (instructions should have been part of an email you recieved from whomever you purchased it from, or from Bioware). Whatever date you finally registered the Pre-Access Code is what counts, Partially. Generally speaking if you only registered the code on the 5th of December, well then you should have been in already, however if you registered it say...on the 14th of December, you won't be in yet. Just because you bought the game or got it before now doesn't mean you're getting in....have to register it and get in via the registered date (partially). Now, the other part to taht is that like with today...if you got the code in by the 7th of December, you may not still have gotten in (as today's date was cut off at the 7th). The "time" and "order" in which you put it can also play a major factor.... Hope that helps for those who still don't get it or didn't read the instructions...lol

Yeah I will give them that, they did get in a ton of people in for the 5-7 day's worth of early access, and many many people were thinking that if they got their code in on nov or later that they may not have access until he 18th or 19th, so fairly good job. Still think it's funnoy how they can get 5 months worth of people in just 3 days, but it'll take them a full day (maybe 2 at worst case) to get only 1 week's worth LOL. From that standpoint, it was an epic fail to those that have to wait the extra day, however from the optomistic standpoint, yes they did extremely well, better than most other MMO's out there. Like I said though, you will find one or two people here and there that will cancel their order, get their cash back, and bash on the fact that they couldn't get in...they don't care that it said "UP TO"....their minds translated it as "you get 5 days". They'll rage and make youtube videos and post on so many other forums and get so many people worked up about it...just look at WoW for example: The Warlocks, that class was just fine and was actually quite a bit "too powerful", but it only took one flammer to complain and make a video about it how he/she thought it sucked, and from there you had tens of thousands starting to complain, yet their complaints were completely invalid, and that was proven by math, and many others who even werent elitists, but simply common casuals that could prove just how powerful they were... point is...like I said, it takes sooo many attempts to just win over one customer, but that ONE customer that gets pissed off and decides to bash it, can easily take 10,000 people or more and convince them not to be a customer, even though the argument may be invalid. Look at how many posts there are on the forums already of people talking trash and hating and saying they'll cancel and stuff....trust me, "drama" gets out much much faster, and most Americans crave drama...they'll see the hate, and hudnreds of thousands of potential clients will simply say "woooah...n/m, not gonna get this, not if it was that bad!" rather than trying it out for themselves...that's how business works unfortunately... I, for one, can't wait until tomorrow so I can enjoy my gaming experience with this new MMO! I've been waiting for quite some time, so waiting one more day won't kill me! But, I can also see the pesamistic side to it....just because of 8 day's of preorders left, and they can't get in yet, people will complain and make EA/BW look bad (as they already have all over the web on many forums, look for yourself if you like), their chances of gaining new customers has fallen, and their chances of loosing potential customers has increased by a massive amount. let's just hope that things go on a more optomistic path ^.^ I"m thinking of playing SWKotoR I and II non-stop until tomorrow just sort of as a "warm up" if you will lol. Hopefully I'll be done with both of those by the time I gain access tomorrow. It will feel more epic that way I guess lol.

maybe they decided to let those people in who also spent more money on more crap... lol, who knows! Whatever their reasoning is, i'm sure they should (THEY BETTER) have a good reason for making us wait. Doing some thinking, Dec 7th thru 15th would have it's own day....all to itself...where as July through December got 3 days...5 months in 3 days, 1 week and 1 day...in one day???.... Unless they got way more pre-order codes registered in this last week and one day, than they have from July through December (which is highly, highly, HIGHLY, unlikely, but possible...) there was no reason for them to not just finish it all out today. Like I said, I'm sure they have a grand reason for making the last week's codes wait (yes I know many got it earlier and didn't register till now, or they were screwed by one of the companies and didn't get their code until now and therefore couldn't register until now, and yes I know a lot of sales were made online, but just because you may know 10 or less people that ordered digital copies doesn't mean that the larger majority of people did)...we'll just have to wait until tomorrow lol. Now, to make some mac and cheese and some popcorn and enjoy the slew of complaints/rages/etc. that is to come very very soon lol

hate to agree with some people here...but stopping after the 7th...wasn't a well planned out move.... Again, they could have just started the early game access today (as it would have been originally) meaning December people could potentially have even less than 5 days to play....but in reality, 5 day's is a fair amount...less than that and you start to cut day's back to where "meh, what the hell was the point of pre-ordering?....should have just waited and not spent that extra $5 for nothing...." It would have been nice, to see everyone get in to have 5 day's access... Now, that tiny tiny amount of people left to play the game will have to wait until tomorrow, and HOPE that the maintenance doesn't go past the time when they should be starting the first wave....also, BW/EA will have to hope that they don't loose a decent size influx of customers because of their fail-attempt on the last 3 waves to get people in... but i would so laugh if they did 8 more waves tomorrow, and each wave was like a day's worth....or less....and we find it turns out that each wave was smaller than any other wave so far...yet at the same time i'd be too pissed... OH WELL!!!! 4 day's early access will be nice... hopefully their systems don't get over flooded with complaints and such now...wouldn't want the maintenance to take all day and make us wait another day...LMFAO Naw, hopefully BW/EA will realize that "hey, what's the point of making this small handfull of people wait until tomorrow...lets just get them in already, it won't hurt anything, no point in ticking people off just because we enjoy making people suffer" LOL I have faith that we'll get in tomorrow, and I couldn't possibly see it being more than 2 waves total....i'm honestly not even expecting more than the first wave...that would just be a dick move to make so few people wait even longer than they need to....not that most people now think that wave 8 being the final one was a dick move, but whichever lol.
