  1. Why do we take this talent? This is the one that increases Mind Crush duration by 1/2 seconds. So ... it reduces burst, w/o increasing the overall damage of the ability ( at my level tool tip says it does exactly the same in the dot portion of the damage, but over 7 seconds instead of 6, w/ the first point). As far as I know, we do not have any abilities that care how many or whether dots are up; in addition, this is a dis-synergy with Force In Balance, because it ticks more times for less, using up an extra charge (or 2) for no reason. If you go for Sever Force this is significant, as the # of dots present will use up all FiB charges before you can recast it. Thoughts? Not there are any other dps talents to take in the tree, but ... it feels like spending these 2 points actually loses us dps.
  2. I've verified tele throw does not take charges from talented force in balance, which seems like a good indication that it isn't being counted as periodic.
  3. 1) Did some informal testing, and Presence of Mind (PoM) does not appear to increase the damage of the dot portion of mind crush. ie, I see mind crush tick for 66 every time whether hard cast or cast under PoM. Do we believe this is intended? Seems to significantly reduce the value of the +20% damage portion of PoM (not that there are other dps skills to take ...) 2) Not quite there yet, but ... does Telekinetic Throw (TT) benefit from the periodic damage boost of fully talented Force in Balance (FiB)? In that other game, the equivalent channeled spell did benefit from all modifiers that said they effected periodic damage ... just wondering if that is true here as well.
