This is not the first time this has happened to me. It has happened multiple times. That’s why I am saying something. You are acting like I haven’t done this and you need to realize after 3 or 4 times of hearing multiple people saying “Why don’t you go assassin? It’s so much better, easier and fun and you can do all the fights so much better” and blah, blah, blah It gets old. I have tried assassin tank could not get the hang of it, I played a DPS Vanguard by accident and did not like the way it played so I know I wouldn’t like a Powertech tank, plus I’m not into the non-force user classes, I like playing Jedi and Sith. And when it comes to tanking I like jugg tanking it’s a class that was easy for me to grasp. Why should I be out of being able to do harder content cause the player base has a preference that they trying to spoon-feed to all players? And as someone pointed out the main reason and assassin/shadow is wanted pretty much all the time is cause of their ability to stealth out during combat to cheese mechanics. The NiM community is doing this to themselves. They are pushing people out on their own and unwilling to aide or help others to learn or play as classes they like, end of discussion. It comes down to does the community want to grow cause if not it can hurt SWTOR in general as they will push people away from the game and kill it. And I’m not the only person in this game with these concerns or have had these experiences.

Thank you for actually being openly honest about the sin/shadow tank unlike a lot of other people who have commented. I have ran into many groups who want an assassin for the very reason you gave here. I didn’t want to state it straight out cause I know how toxic this forum can get at the simplest suggestions but what you said about stealth out, to me that ability should be blocked in harder content, not story mode but HM and NiM to make the playing ground even for all tanks but people will just complain about how that is unfair to other stealthers that are DPS or heals and make it where people can’t be stealth rezed but it comes down to the way this community is instead of being in complete denial of it. People should be able to play whatever role they want in all content but if the player base is making that near impossible something needs to be done. And before anyone screams nerf, let’s get real. I have heard thousands of times where pvpers gotten a lot of unnecessary nerfs done to particular classes and those classes suffered major setbacks in the OPS community cause of pvp. I am not asking for a nerf, I am asking for Bioware/EA to put a block on the stealth out ability during boss fights in HM and NiM OPS or make it where it is harder for sins/shadows to cheat mechanics using the stealth out ability to give all tank classes the same even ground. And yes I do think it is a cheat. It is an unfair advantage to avoid mechanics other tank classes cannot do and if you look up the word cheat it says “act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, especially in a game or examination.” While yes stealth out is a legal move in the game it is being taken advantage of and giving an unfair biased towards juggs/knights and powertechs/vanguards just to make things easier on them.

To a good majority it does apparently is what I am saying from what I am seeing. This right here is what I am talking about, you just sat here and invalidated my own personal feelings from a personal experience and that right there is part of the toxicity, granted not the toxicty of bias when it comes to tanking that the original post is about and also you weren't there so you are also helping prove the point even further as to how toxic the NiM communitiy can be and that will only turn people off of things like OPS, also I wasn't the only one this was done to. The other person's reasons does not matter, nothing excuses two people getting used to take another player from a guild or a prog group. Making excuses does not nor will not change the wrong done to the other players no matter what the intention is or what the reason. It is wrong and should not be done, end of discussion and I will not argue this any further with anyone who wants to justify using people in an MMO. One of the main problems is not everyone can be thick skinned and all people's feelings are valid, regardless of what people may think otherwise or feel and I know I am not the only one who feels this way in the game. I have talked to many people who prefer to stay away from the OPS community that I am a part of cause of this toxicity and that is really bothersome as I enjoy OPS in this game it is one of the few things that isn't story oriented that I enjoy doing. Let me put it like this: I love SWTOR cause of the story content, conquest and OPS but why would I suggest this game to another person if they feel MMOs are toxic? Also, if someone is new to MMOs this toxic behavior can be off putting and either chase new players away or even keep people from playing other MMOs cause if this is how people can act in SWTOR its 100% certain that people act this way in other MMOs and I have seen post in other threads where people confirm this toxic kind of behavior is very common and normalized in the MMO community which to me is very off putting so I know I will personally not play another MMO outside of SWTOR cause I don't want more toxicity like this than I already have in SWTOR. As all people in SWTOR though, I get bored with the same content over and over which is why I want to get into HM and NiM OPS and have worked with a select few to hon my tanking as a jugg and make it better so this stuff that you so idly shove to the side and think is a "tantrum", as well as the biased towards specific tanks is off putting for a lot of people or people like me wanting to do new content to expand their game play cause they are bored with doing the same thing over and over again and is not very encouraging to want to progress if you cannot play on a role you want cause people are picky as to who they want or do things like what I mentioned and therefore stunts the growth of the community. To the first bolded part: How am I going to know that if people are being biased on tanks and prefer only one specific tank for all fights? Can't learn or know these things if that's how the community is playing things. To the second bolded part: I know there are some good people in the game but that doesn't take away from the fact what a one or a few do ends up reflecting on an entire community. As an LGBT in real life I can speak from personal experience cause we get that a lot so to clarify for you I am speaking in general context based on how to an outsider who may hear that story or may have it done to them it will turn them off to OPS and make the community a lot smaller. Same with the biased towards tanks.

To the first bolded part: That means not all tanks are even and contradicts that all are viable no matter how you want to try and deny it. This is do to “cheesing” another word for cheating mechanics that certain tanks can do and others can’t. That’s not even or all viable at all. To the second: Yes the NiM raiding community is too toxic. When you have a NiM raiding guild that goes out and uses people to steal other players from guilds cause of their high DPS output and breaks up prog teams that reflects on the entire NiM community. And making excuses and normalizing such behavior does not help the NiM community’s case any even if they aren’t the only guilty party in it cause yes the player they took is just as guilty for leaving the guild or prog group and helping screw other players for an “opportunity”. Regardless of what people may think there are real human beings on the other side of that screen with feelings and no person deserves to get used in real life or in a game.

It’s really unfair for people like me who prefer to jugg tank to get thrown aside in HM and NiM OPS for assassin tanks and powertechs. Honestly. I’m getting tired of people in the NiM raiding community wanting only specific tank specs and wanting to push players to play specs they don’t want or like cause they have a hard time with it, that’s why I prefer jugg tanking, I couldn’t get assassin tanking and I had a DPS vanguard and didn’t like the play style so I know I wouldn’t like Powertech tanking. Honestly to each their own but this expansion was advertised as play your way and the community is making that near impossible with wanting specific specs for harder content. I’m getting extremely bored with the game cause I have ran story content too much and have built my jugg tank with things that NiM raiders suggest but it they still only prefer specific tanks but I’ve also noticed they don’t want to teach people to tank harder content. Something needs to be done to fix this toxic community in the game cause this biased towards certain tank specs isn’t fair to any of us who don’t want to play a spec they don’t get or just don’t like.

Another bug where this bonus chapter is concerned is how if you take the HK-55 Rebuilt customization off HK-55, which I have had HK-55 for a long time (just didn’t get the bonus chapter), I always take the customization off cause I don’t like how the Rebuilt HK-55 looks, is forced into that look anyway despite you not using it yet all your other characters who’s outfits you changed were actually in their changed outfits yet HK-55 had to be in his rebuilt look? Why gives us the option to have him look as HK-55 did when we met him and before his self-sacrifice or his rebuilt look and then force HK-55 to be in the rebuilt look anyway? Makes no sense.

Apparently this is a bug and 2 days ago Eric announced it was working as attended and when used opens to your entire account which means it suppose to be available on all servers. Welp, it’s not fixed cause I have toons on Satele Shan and the other N/A server and it’s unlocked for all my toons in my main server but was greyed out on the other one. Not wasting another $42.79 ($39.99+my state’s tax) on this. Not happening.

I just bought it and it said it was unlocked in collections. When I went to look, nothing. I really hope Bioware is not expecting people to pay 3800 ($40) per server to have it on another server that isn’t your main. That’s not how a lot of other Cartel Market items work and this should be no different. In fact I was on the PTS server and saw it, and the HK-55 recruitment mission in collections as unlockable. What changed?

I won't be resubbing, the player toxicity has gotten too much for me and I'm really only here for story. I got used twice in this game and the worst part is one involved a 15 year old. I don't like how we are teaching kids it's okay to use other players to get what we want and I'm not here nor do I want to pay for the real world aspects of this game. What happened? Well I found something in this game I thought I was good at and actually enjoyed, jugg tanking operations. Though I will say that I was getting bored with just doing SM OPS and wanted to get into harder content and twice this mission has failed. A guild used me and one other person in the game to steal a player we had in a prog group the three of us had made to start working on doing harder content. They misled me knowing they did not need tanks, stole the player, destroyed our prog group and didn't care who they hurt in the process all cause they were giving this player an "opportunity". No person deserves to be used in real life or in a video game and no "opportunity" should be worth using another human being. As I said this is the second time I've been used, the first being a possible online romance scamming where I was getting promised by a guy we date while I bought Cartel Coins to get him items he wanted and bought his subscription to the game. The other person who got used made a statement that disturbed me claiming "I'm use to being used." This should not be a norm. Why am I saying this? Cause from what I've heard SWTOR is like all other MMOs and all people do is make excuses for this disgusting behavior. I won't ever play another MMO due to the experience I have had here. On top of that people talk about sexual stuff in front of minors, etc. It's too much and I don't want any part of it. I want SWTOR to be better than other games but I doubt anything will be done but you can still hope putting this out there that people will see their toxicity is helping aide in the game's destruction and I'm not the only one who feels this way. Some may say I shouldn't let what other players do affect my game play but it does cause I'm not here nor am I willing to pay to deal with the real world in this game. SWTOR has and always will be my escape from the real world and it's the player base that is ruining it for me. I only subbed to get the new expansion but I've quit doing OPS, I will do HM flashpoints and WBs but I won't touch actual operations anymore in this game cause I don't like getting used by people.

Not sure if this has been brought up but for awhile now the Vigilant boss at the end of Czerka Core Meltdown has been dropping before all the towers are destroyed where as in the past this wasn’t the case. It seems to been doing this since 5.10.4 dropped but I could be wrong but I started noticing this after that patch and it has yet to be fixed.

Apparently some games are getting involved via Twitch as Amazon Prime is connected to Twitch Prime so I was wondering if SWTOR was going to get involved? Maybe a good time to release the Royal Tauntaun some of us have been waiting on.
