  1. Dude, seriously? I have no idea *** you are talking about regarding marauders. With anni spec and full champion set, you are easily able to hit over 400k. With some battlemasters, 500k is highly attainable. Just finished a wz with over 500k. Learn to play man. http://i40.tinypic.com/2dak4tc.jpg
  2. Btw Hizoka, what is your opinion on dots getting cleansed? I noticed that whenever I'm fighting premades, my total damage would drop about 30-40k, while my range teammates' dmg would stay roughly the same. I'm actually temped to retry carnage to see if the dmg output can be any higher. What do you think? http://i.imgur.com/OtH6b.jpg
  3. The ultimate setup for a lazy 500k dmg anni marauder. http://i.imgur.com/FeVSm.jpg Also, a pro slacker tip: hold to repeat.
  4. If you are in a premade, you usually have good healing backup, and so you will just charge into their healers/commandos without worries. With 2 pts in subjugation, chock, and roar, you can pretty much interrupt any casts of that particular healer. Your teammate will usually focus fire with you on the same healers, so there should be a bunch of debuffs/dots on the target. I just dont think they are able to dispel all. But, even if they do dispel all, with 2 pts in pulverize your rupture will be up very soon. Just rupture again and remember to cast deadly saber whenever its up. Against good teams, you should still get 250k-300k dmg, which should either be top or second on the dmg chart(compared to 350-500k against pug). But your self/team utilities and interrupts are just too invaluable in team pvp.
  5. Well, it's not the bad, as everyone has diff. playing style. That's why i said quick recovery can be very handy. But from my experience, in the middle of a fight, you usually have attacked 3-4 targets, and you wouldn't sweep just to get fury. Especially in Void Star against premade, the fight basically never stop and your rage wont even degrade (except crossing bridge). You can actually be benefit from erupting furry for long lasting fight. I can pretty much pop berserk every 30-40 seconds (with frenzy). I would say both skills have their pros and cons. Personally I dont see I have much down time in btw fights, and if i do I would first use my rage to charge deadly saber. If you can't find the next target within 5 seconds, you probably are fighting against pug or you are capping 3 nodes. And due to the above reasons, I value erupting fury more than quick recovery. Depending on your playing style and opponents, both can be very useful.
  6. If you just rely on dot heals, of course you wont last long. But you still last much longer than in carnage or rage spec. But dot heals with all other marauder utilities which I mentioned earlier, with rakata medpac, or even wz medpac, anni spec is invincible. With skills tree like this, you can pretty much pop berserk every 30-40 seconds. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100MIrRrRzshzZhMMMZ0z.1 To go even further, one can take the 2 points from cloak of anni and put them into quick recovery. So basically you pop berserk at the beginning of fight, when you killed one and you are about to die, pop undying rage with medpac and berserk. If the fight is long enough, your obfuscate, or even chock/roar should be up. You just won't die.
  7. IMO, one of the best anni spec should be like this: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100MIrRrRzshzZhMMMZ0z.1 I also haven't picked empowerment coz 1. i have no rage shortage, 2. the points can be spent on other skills. Like what you said, some people prefer to put 2 points in quick recovery to dump rage into fury. I agree that it comes in very handy. But I personally dump my rage using deadly saber. Also, with defensive form, erupting fury, short fuse, and frenzy, i can pretty much pop berserk every 30-40 seconds.
  8. Yep. I've tested all spec and only anni can offer you superb survivability and 1v2 ability. In theory carnage may do slightly higher damage, but you die way faster, especially under ff.
  9. And yes, even a bm marauder can get 2 shoted by op within 5 seconds. That's why BW is nerfing this class next patch. Other than that, you should be fine. Against range, especially sniper behind cover, you may want to try this: 1. Charge into an enemy next to him, rapture the sniper, intimidating roar, pop all relics (and berserk if its up) and dps on sniper, pop saber ward and cloak of pain together, obfuscate the enemy next to the sniper. Continue to dps, force camouflage to loose being targeted, dps sniper again. By now the sniper should be dead. Pop undying rage and pop medpad, kill the other enemy. Your berserk should be up too. If not, use frenzy. With anni spec you are constantly healing yourself and the whole team. It is very easy to 1v2. 2. If the sniper is alone, camouflage in and simply dps the **** out of the sniper. 1v1 he can never kill you (of course you need to be anni spec)
  10. You will start to shine with just half champ gears. You should be topping dmg chart in every single wz with just half champ gears. If not you need to optimize your play style. With anni spec and full champ, you can easily get 350k dmg + and 80k healing in any full length wz. With full battlemaster, i've seen people getting above 500K dmg. Marauder is strong once you get good pvp gears. With anni spec you can easily pull off a 1v1 and 1v2.
  11. Completely agree with you Victor. I've tested extensively all 3 spec and I have to say anni is the best and most satisfying spec so far. Topping dmg chart ever since I got half champ. Btw, if you are good, your enemies will always ff you first. Anni allows you to stay much longer. You also constantly healing your whole team. I added erupting fury and short fuse to make sure i can pop berserk every 30-40 seconds (with frenzy). Berserk is the key. In terms of 1v1 and 1v2, anni spec can easily do that and survuve. With carnage/rage you may kill one but most of the time you will get killed also.
  12. I just don't quite understand why people always complain about snipers. As a anni spec marauder, I never have such a problem. Basically you have two choice: 1. 1v1 he can never kill you (of course you need to be anni spec) It is that simple guys.
  13. Man, as an anni marauder, before patch i can constantly dish out 300-400k damage and 100k+ healing. My highest record was 450k dmg and 150k healing. After patch, I can still constantly do 250k-300k dmg and 60-80k healing. I dont have full set champ and im using 1 champ mainhand and 1 centurion offhand. With anni spec, marauder are invincible. If you think marauder sucks, you really havent fully utilized all of your abilities and GCD
  14. Hey Stovokor, thanks for pulling all the info together and creating the list. It is very helpful to us west coast pvpers. I'm still waiting my early access email atm. Which server are you on btw?
