  1. Who are your guys favourite TOR PVP streamers or youtubers? Right now my two favourites are Poox Lee and Lazylit. Vulgerbroadcasting used to be quite helpful but he doesn't make videos any more it seems.
  2. It's really disappointing to see that I share the same server as this guy... Hey Eric is your guild named "Technically difficult and would require too many resources"??
  3. It's a terrible event, hope it never comes back.
  4. A thread where I agree with BOTH Reno AND Infernixx? I never thought I would see the day... I almost feel like river dancing.
  5. Treek sounds like a 50 year old Filipino woman who has come to clean my hotel room.
  6. The Treek comparison is a little silly in my opinion. Getting to legacy level does not take skill, it simply takes a grind of questing, getting achievements which amount to "killed 1000 NPCs on Alderaan", etc... I'm legacy 40+ and at no time did I put in any "effort" to level my legacy, it simply happened while playing the game normally. Now in order to get the Rancor mount, that takes skill. Winning in ranked is not easy, and it there is only a small community that actually participates in it. Fighting your way to the top tier of ranked vs questing your way to legacy 40?Come on now bud, that's not even close.
  7. This might be the first time in history that I have actually agreed with Reno... I'm a mostly PvP oriented player on POT5, as well as someone who has spent a lot of money on the CM over the past 6 months, and I believe this mount should stay PvP exclusive. Despite the fact that most of my playing time is dedicated to PvP, I am no where near high enough in the ratings to get this mount. Due to long ranked queue times and simply not being skilled enough, I don't play ranked enough to ever hit this tier. Despite spending hundreds on the CM, even I would not want to see this recoloured and destroyed on the CM. This game needs exclusive things for different interests, just like other MMO's do. PvP should reward certain gear and rewards, just like PvE should. It keeps things balanced and interesting, as well as provide incentives to do both. I'm not going to get a full set of NiM gear and mounts/titles by being a casual PvE player(yes I know I could by purchasing a run from a progression guild, but that's another matter), just like I shouldn't be able to get a top tier PvP mounts/gear/titles by being a casual PvP'er. I never saw casuals/PvE'rs in my 6 years of playing WoW crying about not getting a Gladiator mount or rank 1 title. Point being, the game should reward players differently for doing different things, not everyone has to get the same stuff. @All the people saying " let it go on the CM, it will create more revenue for BW/EA ". I'm sorry but that is utterly ridiculous, and not a good enough reason to do it. Like others have mentioned in countless threads, this game took the #2 spot in revenue last year I believe, which did not translate into a massive amount of new content for us. What makes you think that EAware selling a bunch of these mounts will in any way shape or form trickle down and reach us?
  8. I've only been playing TOR for a total of about 6 months, started at launch and quit, came back last year. I'm currently sitting at about 22mil across all toons, and feel pretty comfortable with it. I get a little baffled when I hear of people with 500+ million. Most of my credits have come from playing with cartel packs(yes laugh at me all you want for trading real money for fake money). I can't imagine what people had to do to get 500+ mil.
  9. Insinuating that PvE'rs don't cry just as hard and actually use basic logic? C'mon son...
  10. I must say that is one of the positive aspects of this game, the fact that the side quests don't feel like ridiculous mundane tasks. They tend to involve bonus quests on top of them, some of which have 3 different parts involving different tasks. I am glad it's not just the typical " go collect 25 apples, 10 oranges, and 5 figs " or " collect 200 wolf pelts ".
  11. So PvP threads are not allowed here, yet PvE/GSF/class discussion/anything else you can think of is allowed?
  12. I'm looking to pick up a nice big beefy SW encyclopaedia, and was looking for some suggestions. I know there are quite a few out there, I can't decide on which to buy. Is there a more recent one that captures the entire(or most of) the EU? Including the old republic era.
  13. Watchout bud, the brown nosers will swoop down and attack you for questioning EAware! Not to mention this thread will probably get deleted, since it's talking about something negative.
  14. This thread is technically difficult and requires too many resources.
  15. I cry a little bit when I watch videos on youtube of Arsenal Mercs in arena being allowed to sit back and free fire for a solid two minutes before anyone even touches them.
  16. In the last Cantina event, BW stated that guild features were too technically difficult, therefore won't be happening.
  17. My merc is at about lvl 43 right now, and I need a little help in arena's. This is my 5th alt, my medic operative and shield tech are in full min/maxed conq/obroans, so I am not exactly new to PvP, but this merc is giving me a tough time. I know from experience that I love sitting on top of a merc, as I can keep them under control fairly easily.. However now that I am playing one and the roles are reversed, I am not having as much fun In 8v8's I'm fine, but when it comes to arena's I am just being destroyed. Especially on a team that has 3-4 melee, I am getting jumped on immediately and there's nothing I can do after I blow my CD's like Hydraulics, Jet Boost, and Energy Shield. Anyways, some advice would be greatly appreciated
  18. I can't wait to see how the dev and customer service teams of Wildstar run laps around EAware's.
  19. I live in Vancouver, but there is no way I would ever attend any of these events. I don't feel like sitting there listen to useless EAware reps repeat " technically difficult and would require a lot of resources " over and over again. Combining alcohol with the level of annoyance and frustration that EAware reps are sure to induce, well that just wouldn't end in a good manner.
  20. Will your entire stream consist of you repeating the phrase " technically difficult and would require too many resources " ??
  21. I love this line, so much, I truly do. This is quite literally the only negative thing people can muster up to spew about Wildstar. No matter the forum, the game chat, whatever have you, people constantly go back to the " lol it looks like a Disney cartoon, so **** that game. " They say nothing of the game-play, the mechanics, the controls, the PvP, the PvE, the crafting, the story, etc.. They always just spew " LOL CARTOON " over and over again.
