  1. you know, you guys laugh at it, and I wish I was recording that warzone match but I didn't, but we did have an instance where we where loosing, no way to three cap, so all 8 players moved over to left turret which was under our control to get defender medals when a maurader came over, All 8 of us starting attacking him, hitting him with everything we had except for maybe stuns because it was 8 against 1, and he lasted a good 10 seconds against 8 players wailing on him. I don't know about you, but when I get jumped by three players, I last about 2 to 4 seconds, he has 8 on him and lasted a good 10 seconds at least.

  2. I will disagree here, if you do the math at 1300exp with 24.07% to damage if you drop exp to 1259 (bonus drops to 23.53%) and take up your power by 41 you will have a net increase in your dps.

     

    the average number for dps in pvp for marauders is 1600 dps. so difference from 1300exp to 1259exp is 0.54%, which is 8.68dps that were losing

     

    (using damage calculations from jedilace.com based on bonus damage gained from 41 power and marauder vicious slash coefficient) what you're gaining is 41 power and that translates to 10.17dps pre-crit and pre-expertise...so ignoring exp and just saying we have 25% crit and 70% surge...that 10.17dps (which is higher than the 8.68dps gained from exp already) becomes 11.94dps

     

    thats a gain of 3.26dps. you can argue defensive bonus from the exp but were marauders...defense is not primary.

     

    I do say though that the max I would take out is the two saber exp and the one relic for the one that procs 180 internal dmg every 4 secs...the rest should be exp. with full wh gear you should be at 1200 with those 3 modifications.

     

    Edit: also i disagree that augments should be STR, if you look at the STR vs PWR gains after 1450 STR you will see that you'll gain more dps by stacking PWR. Its helpful to play around with a spreadsheet that has all the stat gains and damage calculation formulas ect and you'll see what im talking about.

     

    I dont see how you can say you disregard the defensive bonus. The main thing that makes this class so powerful is its survivability which allow us to do much more dps. Every awesome sentinel I see on my server is using the expertise crystal and not power.

  3. What pieces of gear are people buying extra to pull the mods they want for their gear sets? At the BM level i know the trooper cannon has power and surge mods. How about for WH? ARe there any knight pieces to buy that have good power mods for when I hit the crit surge soft cap?
  4. The only other legitimate option to biochem if you like to pvp alot is cybertech for the grenade which gives us a normal stun that we would otherwise not have. Im not very sure as to the merits of this yet. I've been using for a week now in the 50 bracket and my intial thoughts is that biochem is still better because you get a buff to your main attribute at all times with the reuseable stim and the adrenals are the best. They were supposed to make it so that there were craftable stims that were on par with the top tier biochem stims to eliminate the need for biochem but that has been a fail so far.
  5. Haha explain away all you like. I roll a commando too and they suck *** in pvp right now but if I got owned by a marauder in a 3 v1 I would rage delete all of my toons, wrap the game up and send it to charity. Terribad.
  6. so, you changed it to matches played... no one wants to have to play 6 matches just for the daily... some people don't have time to sit down and play for an hour and half - 2 hours depending on queue times

    I get that everyone will eventually get 6 played but Christ the amount you have to play is right near the weekly. you should have made it 3.

     

    way to think it through bioware. good work. your targeting still sucks and our servers populations are dwindling please give us server transfers or cross server pvp

     

    Reading comprehension, you have failed at it!! a win counts for 2 so three wins still gets you the daily. the ONLY difference is that when you lose you still get credit for the match towards the daily.

     

    But by all means go ahead forward raging on your WAAAAHHHmbulance. its pretty funny.

  8. I pulled out 162k heals and nearly 70k dmg with my level 14 (15?) BH. I love my merc! :csw_fett:

     

    hahahaha enjoy it while you can cuz youre gonna hate life at lev 50 if you try any other spec besides heals.

    It really amazes me how Bioware changes the things the players ask for and people complain. Honestly, this is the first MMO I've played where the developers listen to the players.

     

    Thats the biggest problem. Most "players" are whiny clowns and very few people ever agree how an mmo should be balanced and developed. Game was good as rolled out.

  10. haha 10% bonus damage to highest dps class for 5 seconds every 12 seconds is working as intended? I highly doubt it. Will be nice if the leave it for a while though. I imagine enough 6-7k dispatch crits with this bonus will do the job of a nerf tho.
  11. Buy the pvp pots for 10 comms each. I had 400 health pots and 100 expertise pots when i hit 50. The danger with ranked comms is that by the time you hit 50 and get geared into battlemaster, ranked wzs might be out by then and you would have wasted a ton of comms buying ranked comms at a 3 to 1 ratio when you can earn them 1 to 1 after they are rolled out. for that reason I would go with the pots.
  12. Well they are no longer giving up 900 credits for a green box. I got a few last night and one green was for 2900 and mission cost 2200. The normal boxes still average about 1700 to 1800 which is less than the cost of the mission. Doing missions for boxes is stupid basically and now that the slicing mats arent selling well anymore the skill has become pretty useless unless you grind nodes.
  13. 10-13k crits, check. super defensive CDs like the bubble, check. Instant healing from 0 to full, check. Heavy armor that makes you invulverable to all damage, check. Shall I continue?

     

    This class is INSANE, bw do your thing.
