  1. IF I DON'T GET IN TODAY I SWEAR I... might get in tomorrow, which would be cool too.
  2. He isn't complaining. He is merely responding to the OP who claims to not understand why everyone isn't running this on max.
  3. There is not a 300 dollar laptop that can run this game on max settings.
  4. Definitely. That would be similar to gamestop charging you $2 to roll a smuggler. The preorder bonus is free to anyone who preorders. Gamestop can't sell that for an additional fee. I'm more inclined to believe it is another case of misunderstanding the deposit, but you're right, if it were true Bioware/EA would go ape****. Ok, I need to stop bumping this miserable thread with the miserable "$5 Fee" in the title. I should go talk to my bank - apparently they've been charging me thousands of dollars in FEES through this so-called direct deposit program.
  5. If 5+50-5 truly doesn't equal 50, you are correct. In that case I do not know what I'm talking about. I honestly believed that 1=1, but maybe I just wasn't paying attention in math class the day they explained how to use convoluted antilogic to justify qq'ing. I should quit now. In fact, everyone should quit right now because all of our electronic devices are built faulty premises.
  6. We are not trying to comfort you. We are trying to introduce you to reality. I'm not sure what you mean by a normal price but that doesn't matter. What matters is that depending on which edition you wanted to purchase you have to pay a price. Imagine that price is X. If you pre-order you pay X. If you don't preorder you pay X. There is no extra cost for preordering. The only difference is that when you preorder you first pay $5 and then $(X-5). If you have a powerful enough calculator you can add that up and discover you have paid no pre-order fee. Why am I even bothering to explain this?
  7. Ok, fine. If you want to be stubborn about it, there was a $5 dollar fee for preordering. If you want to call that a fee then fine, just recognize you also got a $5 dollar discount on your game purchase. Why we can't just call a deposit a deposit is beyond me, unless of course we are just making up reasons to rationalize the QQ. We ain't doing that, are we?
  8. If you are clever enough to invent reasons 2 and 3 for why you've been just unjustly wronged, you are also clever enough to know how full of bs you are right now. Don't use your post-teen intelligence to rationalize your pre-teen impatience.
  9. Nice, congrats. BTW, I had a question for you. So I was wondering - hey, you there? Hello? Where did you go?
  10. Ok, but a good troll knows december is an obvious troll so they say november so you believe them......and get trolled. Then there are the other good trolls that know that even though "december" is an obvious troll, people are so worked up about "bioware injustice" that they can still say december and get people worked up. But the point is - slightly less obvious troll is still obvious.
  11. As far as I know preorders are not evenly distributed between days, which makes "15 days" meaningless for predicting when you get in.
  12. And there was much rejoicing. See you soon (and yes even a week is soon).
  13. A true fan doesn't applaud when someone takes a whiz on the franchise, even if that someone is GL.
  14. Red Letter Media's prequel reviews are the best SW movies.
  15. I agree with you completely. My point was not that Bioware should do nothing because it is hard to choose between enthusiastic pvp'rs and exploiters. I was responding to the idea that is easy to just ban exploiters. In other words, I was not worried about sensible fixes like the one you describe, but the people who were out for blood wanting everyone who maybe queued for a warzone a few times in a row (some honestly) harshly punished as exploiters. I'd even be fine with huge experience penalties, but once you start discussing bans and things like that I do start to worry about the certainty with which we can distinguish exploiters/innocents.
  16. I think this is a matter of personal preference. I think of the efficiency talents as end game necessities. Leveling is easy enough for competence to make up for a little less efficiency. Personally, I'm always anxious to get new talents abilities so I went straight up seer in beta, and expect to do the same again. Of course, someone could that if leveling is easy, then it isn't a big deal to have to wait a few levels for your new talent. That is a valid point, which is why I think it is about personal preference.
  17. Ok, trust I understand this argument. I really do understand. The problem is - how do we distinguish between people who were exploiting and people who are just really enthusiastic about warzones? With most exploits the guilty party can plead ignorance but it is obvious they were going out of their way to exploit. In this case, I was just queuing for warzones is a pretty good defense. So the problem is not the spirit or letter of the law. It is the enforcement. If this really is a problem I don't see anything bioware could do other than close the warzones down for now.
  18. Timing is everything. Chemistry is something that you don't just throw in the frying pan and mix it up with another something, then throw it on top of something, then fry it up and put it in a tortilla and put in a microwave, heat it up and give it to you and expect it to taste good. You know? For those of you who can cook, y'all know what I'm talking about. If y'all can't cook, this doesn't concern you.
  19. You're right. They aren't sending out more invites because they are lazy and go home from work early. Meanwhile all the hardworking people are still at work or in school. Clearly Bioware is lazy. But if everyone else is at school or work, doesn't that mean many people they invited in these waves haven't gotten to play yet so maybe they should stop sending out invites, wait for these people to get home, maybe have dinner, and then enjoy the peak hours. But in that case, all the "bioware people get off work at 2:00" stuff is just nonsense, and has nothing to do with anything in reality other than your inability to reason.
  20. those people are called liars. there are a couple of them on the internet.
