  1. Yes, though we've shifted things a bit. The event tended to be one-sided the last few weeks, such that it wasn't very fun, and we weren't really ACCOMPLISHING anything. As such, we've shifted to less of an open-world format, and more of a closed one, in which a bunch of us will get on and trade kills for a while, working toward the achievement. We have a Discord for it, and I can send you the link if you're interested. Otherwise, we'll be on Voss near the Shrine of Healing tonight at the same time as usual (8pm CST). We're not denying anyone from joining, just trying to focus more on drawing in people who are more concerned with getting achievement credit than with just face-rolling in 20-to-5 brawls.
  2. Yes, we'll be doing something the same time as normal. :-) I think I'll continue with the "Daily Areas" theme, and go with Black Hole this week. I had some people who wanted a place that didn't need quite as many kills to finish out (i.e.: CZ-198 and Oricon), so Black Hole tops out at 500 kills, which is much more reasonable, and will have people feeling like they're making more progress, quicker. I'll post something on the SWTOR subreddit, and maybe again on here? I changed the title, so maybe I can just update this thread every week? We'll see. If you're wanting Oricon, it'll be rotating back up pretty soon, I'm sure. I may just focus on rotating through Daily Areas for a while since those are the places that seem to need the most kills, and that means people will want to see them more often than some place like Quesh.
  3. This week, the world PvP will be on Oricon starting at 8pm central time (-6 UTC). Figure we'll fight around the central tower between the two bases. We had a pretty good showing last time on CZ-198, so I'm hoping for a good show tonight, as well. If you're still looking for PvP achievements, these weekly beat-em-ups are a good way to rack up the numbers. We'll keep going as long as people are around. Also, I'm not 100% sure if it works out of warzones, but if you have Party Jawas, please bring them and keep them up for people going for those achievements, as well.
  4. Not sure where else to put this. Once it gets later in the day (6pm CST and on) my wife and I have horrible lag spikes on the Ebon Hawk server. Ran a tracrt, and this is what came up. Any help is appreciated in figuring out what's going on and what we can do. 5. Are there any end-game groups left on this server? My wife and I just picked the game back up after almost 2 years, but it seems like everything is dead now. Wasn't sure if that was just around the beginning of the game, or if that is just the new reality. Thanks
  6. Just noticed this same problem with Hylo and Sana. This kicked my percentage in that area down to 68%. Being an achievement hunter, this is really upsetting, considering how many Heroics I did to get this stuff done.
  7. Yeah, my 2V-R8 lost all of his. Only have checked my main so far, but I've lost a lot of creds worth of gifts through that. O_O I don't mind waiting for the fix, but it'd go a long way if I knew the issue was being looked into.
  8. I did not find another post on this, so hopefully someone here will have some help. All of my matrix shards and matrix relics have been removed from my characters. I'd understand if the shards were removed from the game completely, but I had a new character on Ord Mantell yesterday go to the Red Matrix Shard cube, and he was awarded the shard. As it is, not only have all my previously acquired shards been removed, but the characters who obtained those shards can't get them again, since one cannot reuse datacrons that have already been interacted with. I realize some will argue the shards serve no purpose right now, but I'm not sure what is going to come up down the road, and I'd like to have all those matrix shards, should they be reworked into the game later. Anyone who has seen this or knows how to get them back, I'd appreciate the help.
  9. Same problem, here. Reporting as bug doesn't get any response, and reporting to CS just gets a response about waiting for the next patch cycle. It's been three patches since then. I'm sure there is more to this than flipping a switch, but it's still frustrating. I've got 6.5 classes worth of completed stories that I'm getting no credit for.
  10. Just wanted to reply, hoping for a response. I've already pitched in, here. Beyond frustrating.
  11. Wanted to chime in with same issue, hoping for a BW response. The in-game FAQ says all missions, Flashpoints, and Operations will be reward retroactively, but no-go. I logged in with all my characters, but the only thing it registered was the acquisition of the companions. Everything from class missions to datacrons to crew skills are at 0. I had 5 max level guys when I quit, so I've got a LOT of time invested that I hate to look at as lost, in terms of achievement hunting.
  12. As a customer or Star Wars: The Old republic, I do not approve the implementation of a reputation system based exclusively on money expenditure.
  13. Still waiting for this answer, too. I think allowing the points through quests/items on Makeb would be a great idea.
  14. For those who say this isn't a "Pay to Win" scenario, look at my 2nd point here, to see where we're coming from.
  15. Earlier today, Eric posted the following: I think that it may have gotten lost in the void, however, so I wanted to repost it with my initial response (below), as a way to give them what they want: Constructive feedback. I also hope to point out that this isn't about gear, it's about content that is not available through any form of game play.
  16. You've asked for constructive feedback, so here are my thoughts on each of the 3 points. ~~ 1.) Yes, the Cartel Packs can be sold on the GTN, and therefore made available to anyone able to grind the money. But I know of no other game that something like this happens, where subscribers are forced to pay more for game content. Our concern is not that we have to pay for it, but that as subscribers we have to pay for it. Making these rep items more readily available through in-game means would alleviate this, especially if they are made tradable. Look to Lord of the Rings Online as a great example. That game has more reputation factions than I care now to count, but as a free-to-player, you can max rep with each. It might not be easy, and it might take a while, but it's realistically doable, without having to grind a total of 80 million credits for that reason alone. Reputation is rewarded directly through daily quests (same as with LS/DS points and affection), with the possibility of gaining smaller rep items while progressing through the quest areas. That might be an idea to consider. 2.) I do not speak for all, but know I speak for some when I say "Pay to Win" is not always about stats. For many of us, the concept of "Winning" is tied to completion, just as some people would tie their "Winning" to having the best gear in the game. These Cartel Packs and their associated rep items are another form of completion for some of us. Gaining rep, achieving titles, watching our little bar fill up, these are all small victories for us, victories that are unrealistically available to us, right now. So when we say "Pay to Win," at least some of us mean "Pay to Further Access Game Content as Subscribers." 3.) I have no contest with this third point. I think a well-done micro-transaction system (again, see LotRO) is one that specializes in cosmetic gear. But any good micro-transaction system also only specializes in cosmetics and time-savers, like the experience boosts. (Neopets is another great example of micro-transactions done well, as everything is cosmetic or designed towards saving time, while the actual game content, even significant plot stories, are all available for free.) ~~ I hope this has been more constructive, and helps better explain the specific issues I, and presumably many others, are having with this latest pastch.
  17. In no game that I know of is it acceptable to restrict game content to subscribers. What, then, are we paying monthly for? This a is a dirty money-grab who has gotten someone who never posts in forums (me) to post on this. Sickening.
  18. Agreed with the sentiment, here. Making us pay actual cash in order to unlock game content, as subscribers? That's a low, dirty grab for money. Nothing more.
  19. Yeah, just found out the whole "One time only" thing the hard way. Spent 100,000+ credits getting missions, only to see after I logged in this morning that they were gone. Yeah, might have gotten critical mats, but my guys get those with time, anyways, and I'm patient. Not a happy camper right now. I like the "once weekly/daily" idea.
  20. Maybe this has been mentioned elsewhere, and if so disregard this, but I wouldn't mind the bubble shields if there was some sort of diminished returns system implemented. Whether on duration or absorption, I think that would be a nice compromise. Honestly, there are so many "healers" who just bubble shield in FPs and whatnot, that come the day when they DO make some change to these shields, there are going to be a lot of once-healers who are looking for a new job.
  21. Ends up you don't have to go there for anything, unless you're an Imperial Agent (might be Smuggler, too, on Republic side). I wanted to get there for datacrons, but they are all in different places. Maybe I'll get there later for a quest; maybe I won't. I was just happy to get the crons. :-)
  22. Same boat here. I figure for now, I'm just going to move on to Taris, but I don't know how much credit I'm putting in my counter in my codex; according to it, I found 6 datacrons on Dromund Kaas. Figure I'm at lvl 42 right now. Once I hit 50, I might go back and look around some more, but I'm going to stay focused on the guaranteed ones I can find on other planets. Keep me up if you guys find anything.
  23. I guess I should specify and say I need to get to the High Profile Ward taxi, which I assume is in Shadow Town. Thanks
