  1. Always been a fan of carnage. I prefer to stack defense. The longer i can stay alive the better. ( well why not roll anni then) The utility that carnage provides is unmatched imo. I specifically target healers and casters. The two additional roots are amazing and basically negate kiting on their part. The roots combined with the interrupts are a nightmare for healers and casters. I also try and use force choke strictly as an interrupt. Force camo's cc break is a huge help for your survivability as well. I prefer burst to dot to burn healers down they seem to panic and blow their cd's. Armor pen + ravage and crit force scream combined with your adrenals and relics can put out some high burst. Im big on movement for pvp i always have been and the extra boost from predation fits my playstyle really well plus the extra defense since i stack defense anyways. And move with a purpose not like a chicken with its head cutoff. Predation helps me quickly circle strafe behind my target and with the root attached to ravage i can burst out some high dps without getting attacked back if i can position myself directly behind my opponent. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#100bcZGrMRRrrdGzZM.1
  2. I personally do VERY well Advanced Prototype. Can i do as much damage as a GOOD player on pyro? of course not but there is more to pvp then doing damage. I suggested they added a snare with retractable blade and they did just that. The snare is going to help out the tree tremedously.
  3. I personally like the Advanced Prototype tree myself. I love the heat management, i love hydraulic overrides every 30 sec in pvp it really is amazing. Lets be honest now lol. In pvp terms the tree seriously lacks compared to pyrotech. The dps that pyrotech puts out is absolutely insane coupled with the defensive cooldowns it has makes pyrotech a more logical choice for pvp dps. Heck even shield tech provides more survivability and way more utility compared to Advanced Prototype. Now im not asking for a complete overhaul to Advanced prototype i just feel it needs one small tweak to make the tree shine. That tweak is a SNARE. If retractable blade applied a 50% movement reduction it would really put some synergy to the tree. With the 15% movement speed buff and the 30% speed boost with hydraulic overrides the snare would make them stand out even more. It would also help prototype flamethrower so much if your opponent was snared and couldnt just simply walk out of it which would also raise your overall damage output because you would actually land it more and use it more without having to rely on your stun.
