I have bed replaying class stories since i resubbed last month. My most recent is a gunslinger with a /played time of 22 hours. she is level 53 and finished the class story last week, since then I just log on to requeue crew skills and do the conquest weekly. Id say if you skipped maxing crew skills and leveling companion influence, you could knock a few hours off that time. (id level one companion to 50 just to face roll combat.) Also, the 22 hours was done before the double xp. im sure doing it now and outleveling everything would make it go much quicker since you could skip all the bonus missions

That's not really true. Khem is a great companion for deception sins. He makes it easier to maul and takes most of the damage from an encounter. When you are done, just hit rocket boots or mount up to heal him to full. On boss mobs I'd still use Talos, but for normal questing (including elites) Khem is boss.

Its almost all empty shells, so you would have to buy mods... there are a couple that have mods in them but the point of the cartel market is mostly for cosmetic upgrades. Also, you dont need to buy empty shells (orange gear) from the cartel market, there is plenty on the GTN. I would suggest you do not buy anything for a few weeks so that you can play some and get reacquainted with the game. If and when you do decided to buy coins, go with the 5500 for 39.99... its the best deal.

That's probably right, but i'm hoping it is a large scale warzone like Alterac Valley from WoW. Someone also mentioned it might be a new pvp planet, but the devs have already stated that they are not doing that.

20 and 40 sets are still available on the home worlds, or so i have heard from guild mates... the vendors were removed from the fleet though... probably to unclutter the area.

He did do alot of deathmatch early on, but he had a few key moments later. He stopped a goal by killing that sage healer before he got the pass over the fire. And I loved when he used the bubble when stunned on the fire, then knocked the 2 guys back on it after.... nicely done

Thank you for the positive post. I too have been enjoying the expansion. I really like that the bosses are more engaging and have deeper mechanics, but my favorite part has been the macro-binoculars quest line. This chain has been top notch. I always thought that one of the biggest problems with quests in this game was that they were just too easy (mentally) to complete. Travel to the waypoint, click blue flashy, travel back. The quests in this line have been much more puzzle oriented and I enjoy not knowing what to do immediately upon entering the instance. I hope to see more like this in the future.

Alot of people say to stick with watchman until at least 40 but i disagree. At 31 i suggest going up focus. The aoe you can do will increase your dps significantly over 31 in watchman. At 40 I would go combat. The burst is amazing and you will own most 1v1s. A good sniper will win sometimes, but there aren't that many good ones around in lowbie pvp. As for topping the leaderboard with metals, you have to go with one of the tank classes (shadow, vanguard, guardian). Pick a dps spec and use your taunts alot.

Tank specs are great ball carriers because you get a warrior like leap in the defense tree. DPS specs suffer though for the same reason as a lot of other melee specs (ops, assassins) in huttball: once you get knocked off the catwalk you have to run back around.

Ah man. I had already talked myself into canceling and going digital download not only to make sure i could play on the 20th, but also using the extra money to buy a new mouse.. hmmm... decisions, decisions...
