  1. Consular - 8/10. Not the best story, but it gives solid feeling of being jedi diplomat, saving Republic from falling apart. Interesting companions, some really unexpected twists with Emperor's children. Also the only story good for full, sometimes stupid lightside.

Hunter - 8/10. Once again, good feeling of being neutral bounty hunter, loyal only to his clients. I was hoping for becoming mandalore, so ending was a bit empty for me - you get your revenge. Nothing more, you are the same Champion of the Hunt. Storyline itself is repetative and a bit disconnected, but, after all, it's just what bounty hunting is about, no complains here. Great male voice acting, awesome Gault with his aferas.

Smuggler - 9/10. Awesome, completely non-Star Wars storyline about making money and searching pirate treasures. Good plot, good companions, good general feeling. Archenemy is a bit strange, could be better. But most of the time you dont deal with him, so it's ok. Darksider ends up as leader of criminal empire. Nothing more to ask here.

Warrior - 6/10. That was disappointment. All sith power plays belong to inquisitor, so warrior ends up as errand boy, first to Baras, then to Emperor. No personal involvment at all, you just kill random, mostly meaningless peolpe becouse of orders. It worked for hunter, but not here. Third act sucked, completly disconnected, meaningless time-killing, Voss especially. The only good thing here was Quinn's mission before Corellia. Well, and Baras himself. Interactions with republic forces are nice, especially if you are at least greysided. Vette was nice, idea of corruptable Jaesa is cool. Perfect female voice acting.

Trooper - 6/10. Same problems. Republic's errand boy, slightly better motivated. First act was ok, second act was even good, but final mission of third act kills all impression. All this covert ops stuff would be great, but all other characters do basicly the same during sidequests. Archenemy is very weak, roleplaying options are minimal. Pretty good companions though.

Inquisitor - not finished yet, but at the middle of second act it's 8/10. Everything i missed so much in warrior's storyline. Sith politics, ancient artifacts, rise to ABSOLUTE POWER. The storyline that must be darkside and must be played as sorcerer )

  2. Well, there was something about having improved reaction and coordination needed to use lightsaber. Otherwise you can just accidentally kill yourself. Forceusers have both by default, for ordinary people it's question of difficult training. The real problem are lightsaber cristals. Jedi have monopoly on mining them, and sith just grow their cristals using force (thats why they are red). So the only way to get lightsaber is to take it from corpse. And if you already can kill forceusers with ordinary weapons, why do you need lightsaber?
  3. Darth Marr is an unusual Sith to say the least.

The whole concept of the Dark Side and the Sith is that it values personal power over everything else and revenge is a virtue to the dark side.

Each individual Sith's goal is based around domination and to gain understanding through the acquisition of power. If you don't see yourself subjugating your rivals who are weaker then you then you are never going to live up to your potential. If you don't see yourself craving the power of the Emperor then you will eventually fall to someone who does and will climb over you to get there.

The Empire, the soldiers of the empire and the citizens of the Empire are just a tool to a Sith to not only gain control of the galaxy, but get that final revenge on the Jedi.

All of the Sith walking around goveling to the Emperor are either weak (big problem in TOR empire) or lying and biding their time until they can gather their resources and over throw the Empire.

Remember Darth Vader really only obeyed the Empeor until he could over throw him and take his place. But the ships, soldiers, the citizens of the Empire really meant nothing to him unless they could help him achieve his goal.

Darth Marr was a powerful Sith, but he had a powerful weakness, he cared about the success of serving the Empire.

Can't say he is unusual. I believe he just cares more about personal power: in force, combat mastery etc. He cares for Empire as long as it gives him opportunity to fight. After Makeb sith warrior can accuse him in making power grab. And he answers something like "Leave politics to the Dark Council, my place is on the battlefield". He's just what sith are supposed to be - warrior, not backstabbing idiot.

  4. Trooper looks better as vanguard, on my opinion. Huge assault cannon is awesome, but it does you less mobile, becouse of it's size i(t's not mechanic, just logic). Dont think it's good for specforces guy. Also dps vanguard feels exactly same way as main characters in predator, rembo etc :)
