  1. I'd really like to see longer Montrals as well. Or the option to pick length of lekku and montrals.
  2. Of course. I'm looking to play between 5 and 9pm pst Monday through Saturday, all day Sunday.
  3. I know that it has been a few weeks but are you still looking? I just rejoined and want to start a new character and would love to have a companion to level with.
  4. Hey everyone. I'm a returning player looking to start a new character from level 1 and would like to find a leveling partner to play through the story missions with. I have old level 50 characters on both fractions to help support us if needed (although they are probably way outdated now). I'll play most classes on either faction and will play in either a damage or healing role. If we can rp through this as well, that would be amazing.
  5. I really think it is just the consular class because like I said a few pages back, Nadia completely trapped me in a relationship and now we are married even though my JC is a big 'mo. Apparently JC companions have some force power that allows them to trick the PC into getting it on with them (force roofie?). My JC finally gave up on trying to convince Nadia there is nothing between them and is now stuck listening to her while checking out every guy he passes.
  6. The last time that I posted in this discussion was back in February so I thought I needed to post again, especially since most of the comments about dream SGR companions are females. I personally want Lt. Pierce to be romancable by my male SW. Quinn is cute but he's a bit of a ***** and just screams 'whiny bottom' to me where Pierce is all rough and tough man. As for my JC, there aren't any men I'd go for but Nadia somehow managed to sneak a romantic relationship in there even though I shot her down constantly so I guess he's stuck with her. On a purely selfish note, my SW is going to be a part of a date auction on Friday on the Ebon Hawk server so if anyone has a male toon there, come on out and help me add some SGR to the game.
  7. I'm probably going to sound like an echo of the above advice but I think it is best to find a good balance between the story you played through and a story you can share with others without stepping on too many toes. When I'm playing by myself I have my own story going on that both incorporates the official story and my own. I'm constantly having conversations with Vette in my head in response to things that are happening in game and both her and my character have very distinctive personalities, yet when I interact with other players Vette either disappears altogether or becomes just another twi'lek. I even bought a customization for her so that she isn't 'Vette' but rather my own character. She has a different backstory as does my character. In my head my master was a Sith Pureblood female instead of Darth Baras and I focus on the smaller mission instead of the main class story for inspiration. I think your idea on having Doc be just another field medic is perfect but I wouldn't worry too much about what other's think. This game is your story and you should feel free to have whatever story you like, just maybe don't share everything with people that don't like what you have going or don't play with them. I hope that helped a little.
  8. No, it absolutely wouldn't kill them to provide some form of reassurance to us, I'm just trying to discourage everyone from jumping ship. The more people who want to see this content in the game stick around, the better chance we'll see or hear something soon. At least that's my hope. To those of you who are considering quitting for the time being/have quit may I ask if you've given the rp servers a try? If you are seeking a romance with your companions then you are roleplaying on some level, why not try interacting with other characters? I understand that for many this is an issue with Bioware's lack of communication but for those who don't mind waiting and want to interact and flirt with the same gender, this might work for you. If this would help ANYONE feel more included in the game, message me. I'd be happy to flirt with you and build a strong community to show Bioware that we are sticking around and it would be worth their effort to add these options for us.
  9. I've been following this discussion for a long while now and would like to throw my opinion in the mix if possible. I'd encourage everyone to look at the big picture and relax just a little bit. First off, Bioware has promised us same-gender romance companions and has done nothing to make us doubt we will eventually see these companions join us in game. Bioware has a long history of including same-gender content in its games. EA and Bioware continue to rank very highly on the Human Rights Campaign's "Workplace Equality Index". Scoring a 90% in business practices, community support, hiring and products places it way above many businesses that we give more money to. Furthermore, they are having to deal with threats of boycotts due to their plans to include same-gender content into SWTOR and have been dealing with these threats due to their history of aupporting the GLBT community in the past. They dont have to do this but they have and, almost certainly, will continue to so that they can provide and inclusive and welcoming community. Second, I get a little frustrated too when I get options to flirt with or romance the opposite gender but not my own but for me its not that big of a deal. Eventually I will get a companion that was created, designed and voiced for my character's orientation. I'd rather wait for new, unique, fully developed companions than get a quick patch now that adds awkward, forced text. Other games and companies have taken very opposing stances on this community and gone so far as to include abrasive and offensive dialogue in game. We should be thankful Bioware is taking a different approach. Yes, sgra at launch would have been ideal. Yes, I would have liked to of heard more info about ETAs but is it really killing us to wait a little bit? Let's give them time to create these companions and figure out the best way to intergrate them into the game. I understand other people's frustration but I would encourage everyone to resist the urge to quit. We have no reason to believe that Bioware has changed their minds or gone back on YEARS of support. If we start seeing new companions added without any mention of same-gender romance in game, then I think we can get upset. But until then, you catch more flies with honey.
  10. Amen! I don't know what server you're on but if you happen to be on Lord Adraas I'd be happy to play with you. Illunnon is my character's name. I'm just getting going (level 17) but I'd be happy to join you in a crusade to rp freely on an RP server.
  11. After reading over the arguments and opinions in this thread, I felt compelled to add my own. The whole idea of a toggle switch to turn off hetero/**** experiences in the game as well as to customize the game and NPC interactions completely turns me off. The world doesn't customize itself to fit my sexuality in reality and I am forced to deal with people of all sexualities, beliefs and haircuts everyday, TOR should be like this. I should be able to flirt with people of both genders regardless of my sexuality but these flirts should not always be warmly welcomed. In reality I flirt with people of both genders every day to get things that I want but I am not attracted to both genders. As for the whole toggling off different sexualities just seems ridiculous to me. I do understand people have their issues with homosexuality but a toggle-off option is just a bit much to expect from BW. If you don't want to engage in the hetero/**** content then don't. If you have kids and you don't want them to see this content, are you aware your children can choose to kill people or have inter-species relationships? Now for the whole companion thing. From how I have interpreted BW discussion about including same gender romance with companions, it will not be possible with existing characters but rather with new characters. I completely agree with this approach (if this is the approach they will use) and I personally don't mind waiting for them to create GOOD glbt companions for us. I don't want the same choices that already exist reset for my glbt character, I want someone new and specifically created for me. While some of the existing companions would make amazing same gender romance options *cough*Corso*cough*, they are straight. In a related note, since I'm ranting about what I'd love to see happen, I want new companions for each class opposed to two generic (gay male + gay female) companions per fractions that's I'm sure will happen. AND I would love for the gay males not to be the generic effeminate gay males. So yeah, in summery, I'd love the option to flirt with anyone and get mixed responses and have a new glbt characters added instead of retooling the existing ones. Anyways, just my two cents on the matter, thanks for the chance to vent.
  12. Illunnon, Jedi Sage on Lord Adraas, checking in. If anyone wnats to chat/rp/quest hit me up.
