  1. Thank you for the reply! I am in the process of choosing a guild and will definitely give yours a look. Cheers
  2. *Edit* Noticed I posted this in the wrong forum that is the reason for the duplicate. Hello and thank you for taking time to read my post! I am a returning founding player and I am looking to join a relatively small active ADULT guild. I have been away from the game for a little over a year and I would like to get back into the game now that time permits me to do so. A little information on me. I work as a professional Firefighter so I have a lot of spare time to play. I had 2 level 50 Imp toons but have since deleted them and re rolled on the Republic side hoping that the atmosphere on this side would be a little more mature in nature. I plan to play only on the Republic side from this point forward. I have played MMO's since WOW started and switched to LOTRO and was a Guild leader and then switched Guilds and became an officer in a high level raiding guild (though I have no desire to be a leader / officer anymore). As of right now I have 2 toons on this server. I have a 29 Jedi Shadow that I use strictly to PVP with although I am not against tanking. And I have a level 20 Jedi Sage that I purely play PVE. I have always played a healer in every MMO that I have ever played and enjoy the "stress" of the class. What I am looking for in a guild: 1. No elite-st *** holes. I play the game for fun. I play the game for enjoying others company and helping out any way that I can. 2. A guild that does not take itself too seriously. I already have a job. I don't want another one. I want to Raid but not at the expense of having fun. If we wipe we wipe. No big deal. I love learning the mechanics of the fight and if dying is part of the process then so be it. 3. A guild that is comprised mainly of Mature Adults! This is a must for me. I tend to have colorful language every once in a while and I enjoy just bull******** and playing the game. After all that is what we all are here for anyway. 4. A guild that is active in Vent. I hate typing all the time and would rather log into vent and actually have a conversation with someone and get to know them. That's it.... Short and sweet. I would rather be honest here in the forums so you will know what kind of player I am. I am seeking the knowledge of players that know much more about the game than I do and are able to assist me with becoming a better player and guild member. I would much rather "pass" on a item in a run that another guild mate could use than to ninja it for my own personal gain. If I sound like the type of person that would fit in your guild please feel free to PM me, leave a reply here, or send me a tell in game. Bullex (Main) 20 Sage Sarrett Lvl 29 Shadow Thanks in advance and I look forward to seeing you all in the game! Cheers!

  4. I can not believe this has gone on this long. Stupid arguments aside (playing with eyes closed and one hand etc....) there is no debating that key binding your skills is a much more efficient way of playing. You can try to put whatever spin on it that you want but that fact will not change. Am I saying that you "must" key bind your skills to play or even enjoy the game??? Certainly not. I would never tell someone how to play a game that "they" pay for. What I will say is this (once again).... To become the best that you can be in this game at least give key binding a try. Once you get past the learning curve you will wonder how you ever played without doing it. In pvp I dare you to play against me by clicking your skills... I double dog dare you lol. Look up Sennett on Darth Bandon server. Pvp is all I have done with this character and I will completely own you if you click. That is not bragging.... That is just a fact. Dumbest quote of the thread. I've got a G-13 and it is one of the most useful tools I have ever purchased for a computer hands down. My setup: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b257/turnerfamily10/Other/DSC_0155.jpg
  5. Calling people idiots who pvp seems a little rash IMO. I understand the jumping around comment and jumping gives no advantage other than to jump up to something. When I first started playing MMO's I was a clicker. I eventually evolved into key binding all my skills and have nevered looked back. The argument between which is a "better" way of playing is left up to individual preference especially in pve content. That said, if you truly want to become a better (more efficient) player then you must learn how to bind your skills to your keys. People can argue all they want but a clicker will never be as efficient as someone who binds their skills. Now in pvp there is no argument..... If you click your skills I will own you every time end of story. My setup includes a Logitech G-13 game board and a Cyborg R.A.T 7 Gaming mouse. All of my skills are bound to the game board and I move with the joystick that is attached to the game board. The mouse has a extra "thumb" scroll wheel that I use for " next and closest" targets. The only skill I click is to get on my mount, companion skills, and consumables. I highly recommend to people that click your skills, take some time and start binding your skills to you keyboard. Even if it is just a few skills at first. As you get used to it start binding a few more until you have them all bound. In the end it will make you a much more efficient player even in pve content. Cheers!
  6. Obviously you missed my point entirely. I don't click any skills and will own anyone that does. There is a learning curve for some but it isn't hard at all IMO.
  7. I play with a Logitech G 13 game board and use the joystick to move and have all my skills key bound. I will own any mouse clicker in pvp. Look me up and I'll prove it to you. You might be able to get away with clicking in pve but pvp I will own you hands down. There is a learning curve to playing with keys bound rather than clicking your skills. If you are unwilling to try then it is your loss and you will get owned simple as that.
  8. Once again, I don't know what to tell you. I wish I could help but without knowing your specs. I have no advice to give. Like I said before, I run everything maxed out other than shadows and away from fleet I consistently get 90-109 fps. Every once in a while it will drop to 60-70 when loading a new area but that is it. Ilum during full groups gets 50-60 unless something wild happens but it never drops below 40. The game looks as good as it is coded and looks great to me with no hitching or anything. Should have bought an ASUS I suppose. Good luck and I hope you can figure out your issue. Cheers!
  9. This is my set up: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b257/turnerfamily10/Other/DSC_0155.jpg
  10. Don't know what to tell you. I guess I can take a screen shot or load a video with fraps to prove my point. Just let me know.
  11. Wrong once again: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b257/turnerfamily10/Other/compscreen.jpg You will note that my max temp is 50C (half of what you said) and that is while playing SWTOR, Google Chrome, and CPUID (as noted by the open tabs at the bottom). You mention a price that 95% of people won't pay for but that is not what you said in your first post. You said and you are incorrect regardless of price.
  12. Dumbest post in this thread. ^^^ ASUS Republic of Gamers G74SX-DH73-3D 17.3-Inch 3D Gaming Laptop Technical Details Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor 16 GB DDR3 RAM 1.5 TB 7200 rpm Hard Drives 17.3-Inch Screen, Nvidia GTX 560M 3GB GDDR5 Graphics Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit I run everything on max settings other than shadows because I don't like how they look. I run 90-109 fps everywhere but fleet which drops to around 50 fps during peak times (ie: nighttime). I would rather have a desktop but my job requires me to be away from home for 24 hrs at a time. Got to love a job where you can play games while getting paid lol.
