There isn't a problem with gearing him, you just have to buy him gear pre-50 (like any other companion). I have him geared quite well on a 25 Inquisitor and he rips through enemies!

Hello all. I have a level 25 Inquisitor that I'm loving. I'm pondering paying for a legacy HK-51 to be my companion. Has anyone tried it? Does it seem viable? I'm a healing spec sorcerer, so I've been using Khem as my tank. I'm wondering how having a non-tanking companion would work for my healer. If he's geared, will be be viable as a semi-tank? Also, did they implement companion dialog in cutscenes for the HKs? When Khem would chime in, do the HKs instead?

I've recently started a Jedi Sentinel, but I'm trying to decide on which spec to try. Anyone have specs they recommend? Would love to hear your experiences. Thanks!

I've played the Sith Warrior all the way through (loved it) and am almost to 50 on a Commando, then a Powertech. Looking for suggestions on what to play next. I forgot about the set bonus. I'm assuming there's no way to carry that over? But if I buy augmented Orange armor pieces, it would offset any set bonus...

Before I start screwing with things and botch my gear, I'd love to ask a noob question about PVP gear and mods, etc. I'm a Sith Warrior and just got my first piece of War Hero armor. Even though it's a purple item, I see that I can open it up and see the mods. Does this mean I can take these mods out and put them into any Orange piece of gear (and that orange item would have identical stats to the armor I cannibalize)? I'd love to have a custom set of pvp armor, but have just as good of stats on it! Thanks!

I started an Inquisitor back a few months ago but lost steam on it. I'm thinking of starting a new one up again and would love to get some opinions on which people enjoyed more... playing light or dark? I thoroughly playing my warrior dark, but the Inquisitor doesn't seem like they'd fit being as dark. Would love to hear what people thought of either choice! Thanks!

The speeders are pretty slow moving, compared to other games. Warcraft had animal mounts moving faster than the TOR speeders and it didn't look out of place.

I don't care either way if they bring back a vendor personally, but the reason I'd be against it would be that it's forcing Bioware to cater to uninformed or lazy people. It took nothing for these people to merely spend a few seconds asking when the event ended. Because they CHOSE not to do that, it shouldn't force Bioware to cater to them. And where do you stop with that? I don't have a million credits in my bank, should I cry on the forums saying that other people have that much, shouldn't I be given the same amount?

I didn't know when the end of the event was, so when I was in game, I asked in general. And people told me when it ended. No forums required. I'm shocked at the level of crying on these forums about everything. Because people didn't take it upon themselves to literally spend 5 seconds asking when the end was, they'll come crying to the forums. I'm amazed at how people can't take responsibility for their actions.

I've been so obsessive compulsive about which class to play next. I've created and deleted a ton of characters trying to figure out what I want I'm curious what everyone's thoughts are on Smugglers vs Troopers. How did everyone enjoy theirs? Did they prefer one over the other? Better story in one? Better gameplay? I've been playing a Smuggler (up to 15 or so) and have been enjoying it for the most part, but I'm curious about Troopers also. Thanks!

There's some stuff I enjoy about Scoundrels (like shooting people in the back with a shotgun), but it feels a bit awkward having a gun (ranged) class that you basically have to melee (be close in) with. But it's fun to have quit a few different tricks... I'm quite torn!

I get the differences between the two advanced classes, just wondering if anyone had reasons why they loved (or hated) one or the other? Trying to decide which direction I want to take with mine! Thanks!

I'm starting up my first Smuggler and would love to get some insight and experience from people playing Smugglers. I'm not entirely sure which direction I'd like to go with for my Advanced Class. I've just started out, but I am enjoying the cover system (and shooting from afar). That being said, having a little bit of healing would be really fun for the character, but from what I understand, your character becomes more of a close range fighter if you pick up Scoundrel. What are some of the reasons why people are enjoying their Advanced Class decisions? Are there specific skills they really love from one or the other? I've been playing Sith Warrior Juggernaught and adore skills like Force Throw
