For the record I love pvp in SWTOR, I play it like CoD. But why do i have to dread other republic people on ilum trying to get armaments in central? Shouldnt I be happy we control it instead of wishing i was there by myself?
Here's an idea. Scale the number of boxes that spawn and exist at any given time to the number of faction members in central (IMPORTANT PART) who are still on their daily. This means if you have 8 faction members in central AND you control it it will (to a degree) scale to you so you don't have to absolutely dread having 4 other members of your faction on central.
However, this could lead to severe problems on servers with too many imperials as they will control 90% of the time and farm for gear constantly. Well this cuts to the deeper part of the problem. The number of players allowed in the open world PVP area, should be scaled to the number of level 50s on the server. Im sorry but we know this is an issue. At least for some servers and not for others. Yes, there needs to be a phase. This takes away from the open worldness of the open world but not THAT much. its still a FFA, there are still few game mechanics but there needs to be a cap, and we need to deal with it. 70% of servers wont even notice, but those highly populated 30% of servers where imps dominate will be evened out to a degree.
