  1. Meaning? I barely hit 50 2 days ago. I listened to every mission dialog. I didn't pvp until after I hit 50, so no xp from doing that. I also took my time skilling up tradeskills along the way. Was maxed out on all 3 by level 48. I just didn't roll alts like most of my guildies, and I admit I did play a lot. But I did not rush.
  2. Oh man, I went through that too. I just left that area quickly. It would be okay if it happened once in a blue moon, but EVERY fight causes intense rage. Ranged has no problem with it.
  3. I am level 50, and no I did not rush to end game. I just didn't roll a bunch of alts. With that out of the way, I want to say that this game is great, and I plan on playing for quite some time. I also want to say that my ragequitting out of the game on a daily basis has nothing to do with end game content. Has nothing to do with the bugs, or annoying features. Has nothing to do with other players, grieving, lack of Rich or Abundant gemstone missions from Treasure Hunting, or even the fact that companions with 10000 affection still fail missions when treasure hunting is maxed out as well. At the last level, you have hardmode flashpoints (fun!), operations, pvp, and dailies on Ilum. All of that is fine with me, except the dailies part. I HATE the friggin Taz dailies. Being a melee class, the Taz constantly knockback and stun. Every pull, without fail, knockback stun on the pull. Since the mobs on Ilum hit like a truck, the only option for a companion to use is the healer. Even then it's utter (moo?) crap. I leap in (or run in, makes no difference), and get knocked back right away. Either to the ground for a stun, or just knocked away. If the group is 3 mobs, I usually get knocked back twice (haven't had it happen by all 3 mobs yet). Just on the initial pull, 1/4 of my health is gone. Healer companion starts to heal me (when he decides he wants to heal me, sometimes he doesn't even bother), and then pulls agro himself. So while I'm tanking the floor boss, he get's wailed on. He then has to split the heals between us. More knockbacks through out the fight here and there, and the fight ends. More than half our health, both of us, is gone. Downtime. I put up with a lot of things in games. A lot of things don't bother me like lack of content, or grinds, but I have to log out multiple times to take a break before I can finish the Taz missions. Please do something about this. A knockback stun for melee classes should not happen every single pull, multiple times during the fight.
  4. Just hit 10000 affection with Jaesa Willsaam, and there was no new dialog/quest offered. Shame really, she's fun.
  5. Because they are common. A Debit Card is the same thing as a Credit Card. If you have a bank account, or your parents have a bank account, then that Debit Card can be used to subscribe to this game.
  6. The free 30 days are tied to your account. You can't use those free days because your account is not active. Subscribing means your account is then active. Not sure what the confusion is, seems like common sense to me. It's like a McDonalds coupon, "Free Small Drink (30 days) with the purchase of a Big Mac (subscription)!". Sure, you're holding a free drink in your hands, but you won't get that drink unless you buy the big mac.
  7. Do people not remember Vanilla WoW? No LFD Server Queues Less quests than this game had at launch Lag Bugs Crashes Downtime almost daily No addons No raids Very few dungeons This game is actually way more stable than WoW was at launch. As for the queues, they won't last! WoW did it, Rift did it, Aion did it. Did what you ask? They lowered the pop limit on servers to discourage people from joining full servers. After a week or two, once the population on servers stabilize, they will raise the cap back up, so there won't be anymore (at least not as much) queue's. Remember people. WoW had 7 years to get it right. But 7 years ago, it was worse than this.
  8. Well that's lame. Getting disconnected in a queue saves your spot, but already being online, which you might have been doing something important (like a flashpoint, questing with friends, etc..) and you have to sit at the end? Not cool. Bioware Employee #1, "Let's just get people in game, and not worry about those already in. Make someone sit in a queue, disconnect them a few times but save their spot, so they are more like to try and connect that that full server." Bioware Employee #2, "But shouldn't we encourage people to join non full servers?" Bioware Employee #1, "Of course not. We want people to pile into full servers." Bioware Employee #2, "Why?" Bioware Employee #1, "So once they get in, we kick them. Putting them back at the end of the queue." Bioware Employee #2, "Why would we want to do something like that?" Bioware Employee #1, "Mods on the forums need something to do."
  9. The small patch today said that if you get disconnected, then try to get back in right away, you would skip the queue. Well, it''s not working. Was modding my gear, got disconnected, then hit the connect button right away. Stuck in a 10 min queue. Also, please fix the chat bug. Not being able to talk in General, Party and Guild is rather annoying. Thanks.
  10. All mmo's are like this. You need to set up a subscription, cause right now you're not subscribed. Once your initial free 30 days are up, the payment method you have on file will then be billed. You won't be charged before that.
