You obviously haven't seen the prior dueling tournaments on these servers. 35+ teams would not be a low ball figure, it would be a miracle. That's like 175-200 people that would have to sign up, bad assumptions = bad made up facts.

LOLWAT? Well thanks for admitting you didn't play WoW when it was released. Because that is not a fact at all. It took a while for people to do MC and Ony when WoW started, and even longer to even unlock AQ40. EDIT: I think it was like 3-4 months for Ony, and like ~6 months for MC clear.

See, I'm jealous of you. I wish I could have that attitude about it. And with any other game genre that IS my attitude, but with MMO's for some reason it's different. I have fun with my friends, but if they aren't on I can't even play TOR for more than an hour lol.

You do realize a majority of the "hardcore raiders" are guys with 9-5's in "real jobs", right? EDIT: I have a job and go to school at a university. I just spend my free time playing. It does only take ~100-150 hours to get to level cap in this game.

If that's the case, I would just quit MMO's when I hit the level cap. I get enjoyment out of getting new gear and achievements once I hit the cap (what else can you get out of it besides that?) , the leveling process is where I get to enjoy storytelling and stuff like that.

Very well put, and I feel exactly like you. I feel like I have to just get on and do dailies/weeklys as a job after the first 1-2 weeks of doing them....I just REALLY want this game to have success, but it's in Bioware's hands to make that happen v_v

Yeah, but coming from a raiding perspective, doesn't it bother you a LITTLE that it took some people 1-2 weeks to basically complete the game besides nightmare modes? Just forget the fact that I mentioned WoW at then end at look at it from a SWTOR standpoint. EDIT: I'm just concerned for a game that I plan on playing for years. I want this game to last, not fall short.

Lol good point. Watching a video with only music seems epic, but I forgot when you are raiding you don't get to hear any of that, you're just getting yelled at by some late 20-something telling you do get it the **** right XD

Ok, let me start off by saying that I freaking love this game, I got to 50 the day after the game was released (EGA) and have been playing a ton before next semester starts. But....something scared me today. I found myself talking to the officer of a guild LAST WEEK that has already downed all of the endgame content on normal and has already started heroic. I inspected their raid members and realized that I in-fact already had better gear than all of them excluding 1-2. It really bothers me that it was THAT easy to get what is almost the best gear in the game, hell, most of the T2 PvP gear is just handed to you for free just for doing WZ's. (Considering it only takes 50 blues/crappy epics to do EV.....) Then today I watched a 25-Deathwing kill video on MMO champ and thought (holy crap...that looks so much more epic than Eternity Vault). Someone slap me in the face and make me remember why WoW sucks so much so I don't get brain-washed!!!!!!

When you are in someone elses ship you can use it =D EDIT: It's for when you are in someone elses ship and want to get out atm.

Whoever started that rumor was dumb. The servers CAN hold 80k people (but you have to take lag, etc, into account) the servers as of EGA were capped at ~2.5k.

Noticed this also, on The Fatman (my server) I am one of the higher levels on it (32) and there are NEVER more than 10 in each area, even the fleet only has around 50-70 people at a time. I think they are capping the population to make everyone just pick a server, and once they all get full just raise the cap to the 80-100k mark. *hope*

I have had to alt-f4 out of the game (to wait in an hour long queue -_-) multiple times today because of complete UI failures. From not being able to click anything, to reloading the UI only for it to go away completely and never come back. It started off being manageable but now I can barely play the game.... Is anyone else having these issues?
