Read the whole thing four times. Where is the scripts/loop macro section?
Perhaps your energy would be better spent offline, it will do wonders for your personal skills.

Great thread, has helped me countless times since launch. Re up for newer players!

From what I can tell having read people's opinions and testing infiltration on the PTS, shadow DPS is not in such a horrible place as everyone has been claiming. The dynamic of our rotation is a bit different, but the burst is still there.
To the extent of my testing, the only thing that seems a bit off-putting is the 30 force cost on Low Slash. Being so used to dumping my force early in a fight, working in Low Slash is sometimes an issue.
Shadow Strike has been crating consistently between 6k-9.5k
Project seems to sit between 4-4.4k with a 2k upheaval. Force breach can crit for up to 6k like pre 2.0 but isn't used as frequently.
The problem we've always faced as infiltration is being a bit on the squishy side of things. To perform well, improving positioning will go a long way.
Backstab away!

Now that Duplicity is gone, I doubt you're going to be crushing anyone.
Now go back to guarding your node son.

Hi, I primarily PvP. I am wondering if there are good money making crafting schematics to buy or earn through PvP? I have Cybertech and Artifice at max level and I would love to make something that I can sell for profit or even use.
I have some PvE only toons and have found good recipes through running Ops. Do I have to run PvE Ops just to find the higher level schematics that aren't bought from my trainer?
Thanks for your help.
If you have cybertech and artifice invest in legacy boots. Buy war hero boots for 875 wz comms, trade the mods to your respective crafters and reverse engineer them. This will net you 3-6 molecular stabilizers each selling for around 100k.
875 wz comms is like 7-10 games. Easy money.

Brobi quote of the day: upon entering a voidstar, "alright, let's get this over with quickly so I can play huttball"
Brobiball for the win!

There are a few good PvP guilds. Hostile Takeover give us hell, as does Hoth Ski Patrol..
You guys really gave us a run for our money last week in that voidstar. Some really good matches vs. War machine, keep it up!

How many rated teams run deception or madness sins? Typically most rateds get a single sin for one job only: off node guard. Yes, I get to stare at 7 other people having fun from across the map and wonder why I didn't roll warrior.
/debate
Actually my team runs 2 shadows. One guarding node one guard swapping in the main fight. Situationally with the right team comp, I go infiltration.
The ability to stall the enemies side node in civil war (with the second shadow) is very underrated. Often times, with 2 evenly matched teams it can come down to whoever got the side first.

Can I get that in English?
Lol so many tears on these forums, Cycao.
Nerf deception sin, they're too tanky!!1! Omgz pls?!

I'm not that great a player but I've been in very competitive RWZ with my synergy pals. I can't imagine PoT5 best guilds standing a chance against the a-teams of synergy, hey im mvp, NP, PS, C&G, etc. I've played against a lot of these folks and know they are all very talented and intelligent players.
-SexyB (sorry i dont have a fancy signature, i dont know how to make those lol)
No one can ever fathom how their native allies can be beaten by foreign teams. That said, PoF has a lot more guilds, so naturally there are more baddies, but a majority of the baddies try to stay out of RWZs.
Having said that, all hostility between servers aside, I don't doubt that the bastions 'best of the best' could come to PoF and win. However, versus some of the more competitive teams(casuals, old republic war, i am legend, hostile takeover, hoth ski patrol) I don't think you guys are gonna have as easy of a time as you seem to expect.
I really look forward to these matches though. Good luck to all involved!

This is a parse of mine running 5/5/31. I don't typically play balance, so I made a few slight rotation errors along the way. 1924 dps

For the most part stack power in your
Mods/enhancements and use willpower augments.
-
HK parts can also net you a tidy profit, if done correctly.
-
Whatever you decide, could you possibly hold it later in the day or on a weekend? I missed the last one because I'm usually
home from work at 9 eastern :-(

This happens with Smash as well.
Perhaps the underlying problem is the initial GCD after a player stealths. Never had this happen with whirling blow. Maybe it is AOE force attacks.

Please chime in on my post in the general forums:

The more attention this matter gets, the faster it will be fixed.
Thanks.

Dearest Dark Lords of EAware,
I am humbly writing to you, this January the thirteenth of two thousand and thirteen, to request an immediate emergency fix of the Jedi Consular / Sith Inquisitor ability Force Wave / Overload.
Players have been filing tickets almost consistently, so I'm sure this bug is known to your team, but for those unaware... The ability in question misfires when being used directly after an enemy player stealths out of combat. The cooldown is used, but the ability never activates.
This has been a 'known bug' since 1.4 was released on 9/26/2012. Quite frankly, I don't understand how this has not been fixed already. It is unacceptable that an ability as crucial as a knock back has been broken for 3+ months.
Yours Sincerely,
A broken Jedi Consular
Disclaimer: this is not a thread meant to discuss the rate at which bioware can employ bug fixes or the priority in which they choose to fix them, however to petition for the immediate fix of Force Wave / Overload.

I would say its probably missing but if you're getting dmg numbers it's definitely not. Are you sure you're not hitting someone with CC immunity like a vig spec guardian who just lept to you?
-
I would say hostile.
Thanks for the vote of confidence! And by the way, stop dotting me!
