Love it! HM Kephess is totally juggling chainsaws on fire. Especially if your Op groups is rung amok without any organization lol.

If u despise gathering and crafting - consider to pick up Slicing. It's basically a skill to collect credits off the ground ... I would also recommend at least one of the mission skills types to get companion gifts. Diplomacy is a nice one to get as it also awards Light or Dark side points. Treasury Hunting also awards lockboxes - those have creds or random gear inside.

Assassin/Shadow tanks are indeed amazing for soloing. But so are the healing classes - Sorcerrer/Sage. Personally I'm not big of opinion on Warriors/Knights, that might be caused I never really enjoyed the whole warrior energy mechanic.

What epic fear said. Tanking definitely sucks - its all about taunting all enemies to attack you and consistently making sure that they do keep attacking you, and only you. Generally speaking - there are always exceptions. For leveling I typically make use of rested XP (gained by staying logged out in Cantinas and other rest areas) and concentrating on class stories and the main planet stories. I typically ignore side quests that pop up, unless story quests are getting hard (show up in red letters).

I'm with pessimists - unless they already developed it, I doubt they ever will. The would need to create 4 advanced classes and 10 talent trees to keep up with their set up, not to mention all the voice acting for the main characters, 10 companions, and all the NPCS they encounter. It would also require some balancing for already existing classes. But if that was possible - I would love to see something unique. Something like a Mesmer class in GW2 - like a politician class (that some already mentioned) that would literally talk enemies to death and inspire allies to silly self sacrificing deeds :-) like a mix of healer, buff bot, and DOTer.

Full healer. Switched to Vektor (and later Temple) as soon as I got him - easier and faster to kill stuff with dps comp and with you healing - you can take on any mob. Although keep your tank comp geared is always a good idea.

Healing in swtor is a bit different then your typical Mmo healing. U can't just keep spamming same spell and overhealing your target without ever running out of resources. Especially so with Operatives healers - the less energy we have, the slower it renegerates. Your basically need to figure out a rotation based on all of the spells that you have, no matter how insignificant they seem. For example - I don't tremember where in the talent tree it is, but there's is a talent that helps you to regen while channeling diagnostic scan. So it's a lot more usefull skill than it seems.

I have also maxed her affection. But I'm only lvl 3 on Dark Side. And it was annoying every step of the way.

While leveling - never had issues. For 50 hard modes - healing pugs is stress I don't need. I'd rather do dailies or level another alt.

The first time I get "Flirt" option in a convo with him I was like "huh? no wai! My Imp Agent just turned gay. Thanks BioWare!" :-)

I felt as you (the original poster) and the story does get better. I leveled as healer so I had no issues with Kaliyo. But as dps - try using a healer for tough battles. That's what I did with my Assassin. Usually worked better than using tank (Khem Val).

I love Kaliyo, but she's a tough one to quest with if you are trying to do the light side. She's not evil, but she considers most of the light choices as sign of weakness. So I kept hiding her for quest turn ins and grabbing Temple instead (who's annoying as heck)

imo - if you are a Cyber (or know a cyber, or have a cyber alt) you'll end up switching to Scorpio. All of her gear is modable. So for me - Scorpio is a much better tank (even though she does like to do 180s while tanking ....but all companion melee tanks do that for some reason)

I loved it in the beginning and towards the end. I thought some parts in the middle were "meh". At the end was a bit average. In comparison - the SI ending was epic. However, it's not as bad as the BH ending (or so I heard). But overall - I did enjoy the story. A lot more than the SI one.

Even if you managed to hit or dmg a friendly -no biggie. They won't shoot back :-)
