  1. It's late 2019 now. 5 years later. Never bothered to fix this. Looks like a simple bone weight issue on a single vertex, easy to fix.
  2. Late 2019 still glitching. Bummer, because it's a great helmet otherwise
  3. I got booted too. Now it says server is offline. My brother in the next room is still playing. Weird.
  4. Right, because people that don't agree with you aren't normal. Internet arguments, as usual I don't mind the powerful companions. Regular solo pve content was easy already, and the way companions are now lets me 2-man 4-player content if I want a challenge. As usual, people make a big deal out of nothing at every little change. This is the internet, where everyone feels they should shove their opinions down everyone else's throats
  5. Legendary Status is a nice touch. I wish they'd included characters across servers, though. I've played every class story, just on different servers.
  6. Money for nothing is good and all, but where are my chicks for free?
  7. My two favourite character names are: Remmington, for my smuggler. Atherton, for my agent. "Agent Atherton Hart" and "Captain Remmington Hart" just have a nice ring to them. I also have a sorcerer named Sutton and a shadow named Tee'la that I'm pretty fond of, but Ath and Remmi are my faves
  8. Hi there, and welcome to swtor. I've been playing since early start and played 8 character to level 50+ so I might have some insight for you. In the case of commando and mercenary, those are essentially the same classes as far as gameplay is concerned, they're eachother's mirror. So if it comes down to choosing between these two, the choice would be mostly cosmetic and story. Of these two, I enjoyed the story equally, but I liked the mercenary's companions a lot more than the trooper's companions. In my opinion, the sorcerer class plays a lot like the mercenary/commando. Both can be ranged damage dealers or healers, so it comes down to cosmetics, do you prefer lightning or explosions. As healers I prefer the sorcerer, but as damage dealer I prefer the mercenary/commando, whose rotation seems a bit more straightforward to me. I do think the sorcerer has the better storyline, though. The sentinel will always be a melee damage dealer, so you get somewhat less versatility. It's a lot more "in the face" and it's a completely different play style. Sentinels do get to use their lightsabers a lot more than sorcerers, for whom a lightsaber is basically a glowing stat stick. The Jedi Knight story is probably my favourite out of all the classes. Hope that helps you make a decision.
  9. This is very disappointing.. I've been waiting to join my one char on a US server with my EU server ones. Could you elaborate as to what "other restrictions" there are? Because this just seems like a senseless limitation to me, and I can see no logical reason for this.
  10. Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.. I absolutely haaaaaaaate Tharan, because seemingly every other minute or so, he'll say "Did I mention I'm a pacifist?". It drives me absolutely crazy... YES Tharan! You've told me you're a pacifist, a thousand times! Shut uuuuuup!!! *force choke Tharan*
  11. It's absolutely fine to vote kick a grossly undergeared player. If you're worried it makes you look like a jerk, don't be. You can tell someone politely that they're not geared well enough to run the flashpoint, give them some tips on how to gear up and an idea of what kind of gear rating they need, and send them on their way. You'll be doing both yourself and them a favour.
  12. I've tanked 55 HMs with < 30k health fine. Health isn't really what you should be looking at, anyway. I've started level 55s HMs as a healer, with a tank with >30k health thinking we'd be fine, only to find his health dropping extremely fast. Managed to get up to the last boss where we kept wiping. Turned out he was wearing full dps gear. I'm always inspecting the tank now, instead of just looking at health. So yeah, I think you made a mistake. I'd have stuck around and see how things went, at least.
  13. Lol, that makes no sense at all. It's *nothing* like going to a car dealer. In fact, a more apt comparison would be, it's like buying a car and then having to pay extra for turning on the windshield wipers.
  14. I absolutely agree. I previewed the bastila shan outfit with a dye, and it looked great. So I bought the expensive dye and outfit, and found out I couldn't actually apply the dye I had previewed. It's ******** that you can't dye some outfits, but at the very least, don't let us preview them with dye if you're not going to let us actually die them.
  15. Seriously starting to think that you don't know any other way to talk to people.. I did review previous remarks, however, and am still of opinion that they're dripping with condescension. Instead of condescendingly telling people that "customer support is that way >>>>>", you could simply have said "Hey guys, I saw this posted in customer support, they're working on it!". Of course, that's just not how it's done on the internet, I guess, so you went with the obvious "Omg, I am sooooo much better than you people" approach. You may not even realize that that is exactly how you came across, but I assure you, it is.
  16. Wrong, it's that way <<<<<<< You win most condescending post of the day award.
  17. The sorc storyline has some nice moments, but imho it's far from the best. Not even in my top 3.
  18. Better yet, why don't they just make quad-bladed lightsabers, and dual wield those. Hell, I bet you can triple wield them if you clench one between your teeth or weld it to your helmet.
  19. I play both a sorc healer and a scoundrel healer a lot, and I've noticed both healers are strong in different areas of the game. For pve healing, I definitely prefer the sorc. The AOE heal makes it a lot easier to keep the whole group topped off while keeping the tank targeted. I feel I can more easily burst heal without worrying about running out of power, and my bubble is more effective in an emergency. For pvp healing I prefer the scoundrel due to the mobility and survivability. I die less, so I can heal more.
  20. Absolutely nothing. I was just correcting the person I quoted
  21. Harkness was my legacy name on Lord Calypho, but I lost it when I had to move Thought about putting a little symbol on the A, like Hârkness, but went with Hart, instead.
