Correct, only the new War Hero/Campaign gear will transfer set bonuses. It's a sad let down.

Yes, the cost covers all toons, however, the bonus is a +5 and since there's really no reason to be on your ship for extended periods of time, just seems like another waste. Wish I could get a refund

Yep, absolutely true. I blew about 300k or so before I posted on the forums only to find that out. They made a mistake in the patch wording. Just like a lot of 1.2 that got hyped, it didn't live up to expectations.

Worst part about all of it is, if you would have taken those mods out you would have soon discovered that those set bonuses wouldn't have transferred into your gear. Unfortunately, only NEW gear has the option of doing that. So yes, you /could/ look however you want, but it's not beneficial. Such a shame.

In the patch notes, it states: Players can now remove Armoring modifications from items with set bonuses and transfer those set bonuses to Custom (orange) items. These modifications can only be transferred to an item that is equipped in the same slot. I've tried this multiple times with different levels of gear and nothing has happened aside from the armoring itself being applied. Can I get some clarification on this?

I played that "other game" for years and yea, it started off a lot of fun, but then it became so ridiculous with all the add-ons and number watching that most of the fun took a back seat to theorycrafting and gear farming. I'm really hoping this game doesn't go that direction and I'd be happy with absolutely no add-on support at all.

Hey guys, I tried posting this question in the general thread, but the amount of new threads have all but tossed it to the side. My question is, are chat bubbles implemented into the release or are they going to be implemented at all? I'm asking specifically for RP servers because I think trying to RP in general chat boxes is going to be ridiculous. If anyone knows any information about this subject, please respond. I'm deciding on a server for my friends and this answer will play a huge role in that determination. Thanks everyone.

Hey guys, I haven't seen this topic addressed anywhere else yet, so maybe some of you might know this information. I was wondering if chat bubbles are implemented in release, specifically for those playing on RP servers. I think we can agree, playing a RP character in the general chat box is just a charlie foxtrot. Any information would be helpful. Thanks.
