Honestly shoot I don't think it matters with this old game. You can use the fastest cpu or a cpu that runs at 3.5 and you probably will not notice a difference . Your GPU matters more anyways. If anyone tells you differently then they are confusing this game with one of the latest FPS games they play on their comp which in first person shooters frames per second matter the most and having a monitor that does at least 120-140 matters too. This game not so much. my old computer that used a 4 core processor at 3.5 ghz runs this game just as good as my newer one with an amd 3950x that does almost 4.7ghz.

This is what happens when EA has their way with games they just end up ruining it. EA destroyed this game and are the very reason 80% of the player base have left. They did the same with destiny, destiny 2, battlefront and I'm sure when they announce and release the next online star wars game it will be even worse than this one.

They used to have pvp gear you could earn that was on par with its equivalent pve gear. I'm guessing they moved those employees who were creating the sets to the cartel maket to have more emplyees creating usless vanity items. Thats why we do not have pvp gear anymore. The game has digressed instead of progressing. Back when the game first came out we had good pvp gear, and now we have none.

After the last star wars battlefront game which I waited first till it came out (avoided wasting money) I've learned to never buy EA products again. I will subscribe to this game but EA is so greedy they really just bring down a game instead of the game being great. Destiny 1 and 2 is a prime example along side of the battlefront games. Destiny could have been a billion dollar game easy but their greed destroyed the game before it even hit stores. The up and comming Anthem game will just be another game they ruin so I'm going to avoid that one as well no matter the hype.

They are way to greedy to pull that off, the game will just implode and be canceled.

If they are still keeping Kathleen Kennedy then that will put the nail in the coffin of star wars Disney since she's the one screwing it up with all her PC and crap. After what she did with The Last Jedi I decided to move on from their version of star wars. Didnt see Solo at the movies, and wont watch anything else. But will look into what Dave puts out in the future. Its a real shame that the very person that worked along side Lucas is the one destroying what he had made.

Rebels was awsome but each their own. Loved both rebels and clone wars he did a great job on both.

Surprised this thread was not locked a long time ago. Illum began and quickly died a long time ago pvp wise and nothing is going to change about it nor are they ever going to revert anything from it. This Thread should have been locked 4 to 5 years ago. The Moderators are to blame for this.

Why doesn't your gun run out of ammo? How come you do not have to reload? I mean if we want classes to be a little more realistic then the class you play with has to abide by your standards too.

Honestly I perfered the old system more compared to this one. I came back to just pvp but getting geared through pvp will take 100x as long as someone who does ops. Just today alone I got 3 pieces of T2 gear and 1 piece of T3 doing operations. I still plan to pvp allot like I normally due. I will get geared far faster doing ops than I ever will doing pvp and opening the cxp staches I suggest you do the same find an ops group to get gear and use that to pvp with.

Well it will eventually happen for the past 6 years every class that was on top got nerfed into the ground eventually and became garbage for a while. Once they nerf them it will be probably at least a year till they will be decent again if the class is lucky. Its good to see mercs do good now because there was a time where they were only good for just healing. They will probably be revamped to where you have to be healing spec to get any good healing out of them but if your healing spec your dps will suc and your defense will be average at the most. It will happen eventually and they will not be FOTM anymore. For instance I remember assassines/shadows being FOTM like 5 years ago at least the hybrid spec then once they fixed that they were only good for tanking for a long time and that would be debatable if they were even good at that.

Who's Idea on the devs side was it to make gearing rediculously long and not worth it. Man the old way was so much better. I come back in the game just to find out I have to grind 10 X as long just to get one piece of gear like it used too in pvp.

This was obvious by just watching people beta test it, its a garbage shooter.

My guild Pax have been here since launch and its a great group of people and a really good server well mostly. You made a good choice allot of mature people here. Well at least in the past, I only jump on now here and there. Metalghost

I have been wanting this since beta, there were talks back then about it. Dont know why they never implemented it.

Until there is Joystic/Pedal support I'm not going to even bother with Galactic Starfighter. Its an absolute shame that they rather cator to keyboard and mouse players and leave us out of the loop. If joystic and pedals would be op and not balanced with keyboard and mouse then that's the devs fault and poor game design. Its there choice to make one better than the other that power is solely in the devs hands.

I find the cd's a bit lacking because most that i use once the mob gets hit he pops right out of it. I think the biggest problem is that the deception tree's dps is lacking, I might move over to the tanking tree and work with that.
