Yes yes but I bet 75% were off and on, you can go to any web site that talks about MMos and they all have data show how people will try a mmo for about 3 months and move on to a new one. And yes they also show people will go back to one they have played before. The point is that they could make all there money on a play up front and not worry about them paying month to month. And they also make a HELL of a lot of money on there store. Look at Star Trek Online they started with 30 Dav because of the free to play they now have 75 dav team and steel hiring more Devs. They said that is all because of there store bring in so mach money, more then they would have every made with payed Subs.

Here Here I 2nd that. If it was free to play it make more money then swtor any day because they had some much stuff they could have put on the swg store that people would have payed real money for, I know I would have.

Not really friend and i tell you why first off I have a life time subscription to STO and LOTRO, and they make more money in there store then they every did with there subscription plan. I for one spend about $15 a month in the STO store stuff for our fleet. 2nd most people will not pay for a subscription for two years, they move on to other games. So with that said BioWare, EA, LucasArts make all there money up front + they steel make money off you from there stote.

HERE HERE I 2nd this, I also own the Star Trek Online one and I got it before the game launch for $230.00 and I have made more then my money back on the deal and I thank ALL MMOS should do that deal. Lord of the rings also has the same deal theirs is $200. I thank $200 to $250 is a good price point and you could make a lot of MONEY for SWTOR!!!
