I just came back to the game last week after being gone for years and so far, it feels nice. People have been helpful in general chat, random toons have been buffing/helping each other....After coming back from WoW after a long time it is pretty refreshing, I have to say. I've heard some people being a bit doom and gloom, but I just subbed again and the game is pretty darn fun so far. I'm level 48 atm and as I level up I was wondering if there are events or things that I should absolutely get done asap? Are there new things that should absolutely take precedence? So I ran into some oddness (for me at least) playing the game last night. I'm a founder, but quit playing a bit after release and I just came back to the game. I'm starting to level through the guardian story and I am enjoying it immensely, but I have one tiny hiccup. I have been in tank spec since I came back (currently lvl 48) and I figured since I was on the fleet I would switch up to vigilance to do some more dps while questing. Is it just me being unfamiliar with vigilance ...but how did I do a LOT more damage as tank? Things are taking a lot longer to die than when I was in tank spec, and that just doesn't make sense to me. Is that normal? Here is my referral link if anyone wants it http://www.swtor.com/r/LQBRJc

And despite these negative reviews you say you are seeing, there are still a TON of people playing. If this isn't your cup of tea, so be it. No one ever claimed this game would be for everyone. Obviously, you are one of those who it isn't for. Seriously though...if you think that the combat is boring.....what MMO's have you played that are better? My wife and I quit WoW for this. I have played quite a few MMO's and this is the best, plus set in Star Wars, which I love. Bioware has earned a lengthy subscription from both of us. SWTOR is absolutely awesome for us. Anyhow....Thank you very much for letting everyone know that you are quitting. One less person in the que.
