I just today some sort of response from the ticket I had opened regarding this issue and guess what it said? Check my graphics driver.... Is this what customer service is now? Is it honestly this much of a joke where you can have many people on an entire coast lose the ability to connect with NO STATEMENT what-so-ever and the single reply I got from my many attempts of calls was check my graphic driver? I want to enjoy this game, continue to subscribe, and even purchase more cartel coins to buy swag but I cannot give my money to a company that finds this type of action (or lack thereof) is not something I can in good conscience support. What horrible service. The only reason I even take the time to respond here to to raise awareness to others of this occurrence. There is no reason anyone else should expect a different experience as I just customer #159012312 in their system as you are too.

Appears to be working now - super unfortunate as I also had lots of time (which is not as common anymore) to get some fun gametime in. Did we seriously not get any post from any sort of official response here for a WEST COAST outage on a live game? What the heck is that about?

I tried it with a central VPN service and it came right up. Seems like something is killing the West Coast players... :'( Is this the part that we all get Cartel Coins for finding the problem affecting many of their players?

Same - it just times out. I tried contacting support and the specialized SWTOR support is down right now so EA help could do nothing. It seems that there is some sort of cluster having an issue. I didn't list this earlier but I am on the West Coast - not sure where everyone else is.

I tried re-installing but the installer doesn't appear to be functioning properly. I see it run in the background after it expands the files, but then the process sits in the background. So it didn't seem to resolve this issue as I think it is related to the connection between me and EA (and others apparently)

I just tried removing the security key but no change.

The game froze on my today so I force quit it to re-log and see if it would clear up. Now I can't even log into the launcher. I tried restarting the pc, restarted the launcher repair, I don't have a VPN, changed my DNS manually to see if it would work and no dice. Any ideas? As it is I am completely unable to login. I should note that I do have a Security Key connected. :(:( EDIT: It seems to be affecting West Coat Users. If you connect with a VPN in other regions you can connect in. Please post if you are also having this issue and where you are located to add information to the issue at hand so when EA support finally shows up, they know where to look. Thanks!

I think I saw a suggestion that might adequately address the issue. If they implemented the instanced WZ's matched by Valor ranking, all the people that leveled it up the "normal" way would/should be more skilled verses the others. Hence it seems like a natural justice to the people trying to make it big by a bad oversight by BW and restoring balance to the galaxy. I'm not even 50 (so close though darn it) so I haven't felt the direct impact of this yet, but it seems that people would be far better geared due to this patch than they would be otherwise which doesn't seem great. Anywho, I just thought I would try to through a possible solution to the "balance" problem that this has caused as I really doubt they will roll back, so what are their other options? Obviously they will fix Ilum, but what about the people that cashed out? I think the Valor matched WZ's would be a great fix (and a good idea anyways). /rant off.
