  1. I am a fairly geared Merc DPS whose old guild just dissolved. I'm looking for a new raiding guild starting after the new year. I am an adult who likes a fairly relaxed atmosphere, but people who don't waste my time being late. I just don't need people being super serious and full of drama and the like. I am used to having 2, 2 hour scheduled raids a week, but am okay with changing that a bit. The option to do extra raiding if I wanted would be great. Ideal times would be between 10 AM and 7 PM PST on weekdays, but I'll entertain other offers. If you're interested at all please let me know. Thanks.
  2. Or me, Nikek. I'm on earlier than a lot of the rest of the guild guys.
  3. does this count? Earpieces - Nikek - Empire Hazmat Boltblaster's MK-3 Device
  4. I think it would be nice if we could add our companions to our legacy if we wanted to. I realize this might get tricky for people with multiples of the same class, and those details would have to be worked out, but since I'm married to Mako it seems like I should be able to put her in the tree.
  5. I think an option to allow multiple companions characters craft the exact same item would be nice. Maybe make it a legacy purchase or whatever. So it would work by saying if you have 2 companions crafting the same piece, it would take slightly longer than half the time to craft the item. I dunno, details could be tweaked.
  6. Yeah, it should be Bind to Legacy and not randomized, or Bind on Equip and randomized. The current set up is just going to lead to unlucky frustrated people.
  7. I'm glad you like my suggestions. Just gonna post a bit to protect my own reputation. I'm not committing the gambler's fallacy. My personal experience that prompted this post was that the first 17 RE's I did since 1.2, all w/ 20% learn chance, failed. The odds of that are (4/5)^17 = .0225179981 I realize that's well within the well of possibility. It was just improbable enough to get me thinking of these things. As for casinos, my information comes from the Freakonomics podcast. They interviewed a guy who runs several casinos. Their electronic games track customers, because people use cards instead of coins or chips. Basically internal credit cards. The system can tell if they're getting unlucky and then gives them little wins. In the past the system would just flag them, and then employees would give them so free chips to make them happy. At least that's my recollection, it has little bearing here except to set precedent, which who needs that anyway? Also, I think they might have a version of this already. It took me 18 tries to learn 1, but only like 6 or 7 more to learn the other 2.
  8. Now that the game displays the percent chance of learning a schematic upon RE it is very easy for me to quantify my bad luck and it is sorta discouraging. Casinos have learned that long losing streaks are not fun and will cost them money in the long run because customers will stop playing the game. They address this with algorithms that increase the odds of success the longer one plays unsuccessfully. Just enough to keep people from feeling too unlucky. I suggest you do the same with the algorithms here. If the chance to succeed increased even just a little, and it was displayed, that would also make people feel like their failures weren't total, since they helped with future attempts. Additionally, it would make calculating how unlucky I am a bit harder.
  9. I like that you made event based customizations, and I can understand why you'd want to make them random. However, making it possible to get one you already have is a big downside. You should make them random of the ones you haven't yet received. Raise the price if you need to, but the randomness just feels unfair to the unlucky.
  10. I'd like to have chat settings be put into an xml like the UI settings. It would be very useful for sharing between characters and people... just like the UI settings.
  11. I appreciate your dedication to security, but I have a small quibble. Weeks ago I went to a friends house and tried to log in and had forgotten the security question I got. I guessed too many times and got shut out. I called and got it all straightened out and that's swell, but now, apparently forever, I have to answer a security question every time I log in. This is just going to encourage people in my situation to change all the security questions to easy to remember and type nonsense, like 'a', making them less secure. I suggest that after a period of time or number of successful logins the prompt for Security Questions go away until such time as the user fails to login correctly again. Or maybe have some procedure the user could go through to have the same effect. If there is such a system in place already please let me know about it. Thx.
  12. The main problem with midi-chlorians is it changes the whole feeling of the Force. In the original trilogy it was a mysterious interconnecting all encompassing energy. Some people were just lucky and could sense and manipulate it. In the prequels it's bacteria, and you're basically born with a certain amount and everyone can tell how good a jedi you'll be from the number. The original a scruffy farm kid could work hard and turn out to be the greatest jedi in the galaxy. The new ones it's like money, if your dad was rich you're born lucky. It's just not very satisfying.
