  1. Not the lead, but he is common foe of the leads. He doesn't even appear in 3 of 9 or 10 of the movies and is only a core character in 5 out of 9/10 movies. The lead is the person who the story is most centered on, that is clearly Anakin Skywalker, even if he is dead before the last three, if we have to pick one character.
  2. The hamsters that power their servers are on strike until they change the wood shavings.
  3. Two things Bioware has never done well (and I am/was a HUGE fan of their work) are UI's and pathing. SWTOR really shines a spotlight on those problems (along with many of their excellent strengths)
  4. Any update on this? Been a month and I still don't have my level companion back...
  5. The Objective Meridian flashpoint is not appearing in my groupfinder queue for Vet or Master. I am unable to get the daily rewards due to this.
  6. I tried it both with Origin running and with it completely off. I have now also tried a full reinstall of SWTOR and that failed too...
  7. Anyone know what to do? I installed Origin (for Anthem) and now I can't see the SWTOR servers. I tried loading the game as I always have from desktop icon and I get a blank server list. I tried loading the game from Origin app and same.
  8. I will support the "Any with Walkers" votes. Those mini games are eye-gougingly awful and to make them mandatory steps of advancing your story...
  9. Just bouncing back and forth, like when you first enter an area, but it keeps happening even when I stand still.
  10. I'm a returning player (like 15 months since I played). I'm planning on running a toon through the story beginning to end, should I start with a lvl 1 or lvl 60/65 character. I already have a bunch of 65's, so I the free level up character has little value to me (other than this)
  11. My security code stopped working today. Same device I've been using for a long time. Any ideas, other than remove it?
  12. Has anything changed on this in 8 months? It also reminds me of the awful RTS Hellgate London missions.
  13. Definitely could be. It was jarring to me in a few scenes (especially the first one with her in person where you talk to the leaders of the Empire and Republic).
  14. It seems like once every 6 months - 1 year, you guys come on here and tell us how serious you are about this, and that we should report them... Yet you do nothing. The last time I bothered to read one of these promise posts, I decided to track what was happening with spam reports. So I reported, but did not ignore. And I would constantly see the same spammer hours later... days later... weeks later... Clearly, nothing is done with these spam reports, so why should we bother to send them? How difficult is this? 1. A spam report goes in. 2. A window pops up on a CS employee's screen with the last 10 messages sent by the reported account. 3. There is a little green and red check box for spammer or not a spammer. 4. CS hits the box and moves on with their job. If you want to make it better, have a reward achievement for the first 5 people to report a spammer that gets red boxed. If you get 10 hits, you get a can of spam (trademark free) for your stronghold. Something silly like that. This is not hard, yet for years you continue to make promises and do little to nothing.
  15. I know she was Lana in all of the earlier content, has they released the credits for the new planet? IMDB (and other sources) only list up to FE.
  16. Did it change for the new planet? Her voice sounds deeper and she speaks with a different cadence. It is especially noticeable in the scenes where you talk to her in person.
  17. Glad i'm not alone at least. I'd have no (well little, since it would be taking development resources) problem with the missions, just make them optional. I hated Galactic Starfighter, but no big deal. I stayed away from the game for 4-6 months while they focused new content on it, but otherwise, it has no effect on my enjoyment of the game. These are slammed right into the main game. They remind me of the RTS part of Hellgate: London. Bill Roper never worked on SWTOR did he?
  18. Is there a way to skip these awful walker missions? They are fine for people who like them, but they are not the core game I am paying for and should be optional like the other (mostly lousy, imo) mini-games that are a part of SWTOR. I don't mind resources being spent on these things (as some people like them, and that is a part of life), but making them mandatory makes me dread having to bring another character through the storyline. I'm hoping I am missing something and they are skippable.
  19. Played a bunch as tank and DPS this weekend. They are much more fun in that role. It's odd as I've always liked the healer role in every game and in this game before.
  20. Yep, that was fun. Big repair bill from the earlier laser circle boss, but we overcome it. Then get defeated by bad programming and lazy devs unwilling to remove a broken portion.
  21. I don't even know specifically why. I've always enjoyed healing in this game. It seems like these uprisings are designed to make scoundrel healing miserable (I'm not sure about other healers, only ever played them as dps on other toons). I can never keep the HOT rotation going. Either some chimp DPS is out of range or some stupid chair is now blocking LOS. And then an add wave comes and I get mauled and died. They stripped much of our defense during class changes. Any suggestions to make them go better? I play odd hours and like to play when I want to play. Which means Pugs are often essential.
