My original post wasn't meant to be about fairness, it was meant to be about gameplay. I also thought they could add Expertise to lower level PVP gear, say 50% at 20, 75% at 40, but I'm really more interested in just getting to 50 and having a PVP bracket that makes sense. Disabling the stat was the easiest temp fix I could think of before the bracket is set up.

Well, the idea is that would be extremely temporary and I would think it would be easy to implement while they're coding a bracket system. (Assuming it wasn't aready done.) So it's not about punishing 50's, it's about making the PVP more fun for everybody. The 50 would still have the advantage of extra attacks and such until the brackets are ready. Maybe it's a bad idea. But really, if you're not 50 yet, these Warzones are getting increasingly not fun. And even the 50's who are facerolling lower levels are saying it's not that fun.

Yeah, kind of a troll, but seriously, pre-50's have no chance in Warzones and pretty soon players are going to get really, really, really frustrated and want to stop playing. Disable the Expertise, give non-50's half a chance in warzones, and then turn it on when you set up the brackets. Just a thought.

Title says it all. Any way out of that?
