  1. Hi everybody, I'm coming back after a couple months off. I wanted to get back into pvp, but I don't have time to gear up all my characters. I wanted to know how vengeance, annihilation, carnage, or any of the sniper specs were faring for solo queue arenas. I'm trying to pick one spec to focus on. Thanks for the help.
  2. Its intended to balance the class out. Cover also makes you immune to interrupts, jumps, and pulls, so its not all bad. I would recommend becoming proficient with your own knock-backs and roots to keep people at distance, roll away from enemy players, and use entrench when you feel you are going to be CCed or are about to burst an opponent who understands when to stun you. Knock-backs are still really annoying, but this will limit their effects.
  3. Hi, I main on my sniper, I hope my advice can help. For any spec don't engage when they have entrench up. MM snipers should be the easiest to kill, as people said LOS them and wait for the to leave cover. For lethality make sure to interrupt their cull. I wouldn't engage an engi at all. Whenever I play engi I tend to do well against juggs. They open with a slow then stun followed by ep and SoS will wreck you (usually the majority of the damage will be done while your stunned in their plasma probe). Save cooldowns for ambush, SoS, and cull- except for an engi pop cds when they put the shock probe on you. Also don't stand in their orbital strikes, that's a guaranteed lose for you, just disengage if you can.
  4. Hi everybody, I'm a PVPer. I've always been a rDPS and wanted to try out mDPS more seriously. I liked the old Carnage, but tried out the 2.0 Carnage and found it to not be to my taste. I have an unusual fixation with killing enemy healers and was wondering how well Vengeance 2.0 did the job. Also if any Vengeance vets could tell me the pros Vengeance has over Carnage in PVP I would be very appreciative. Thanks for the help!
