  1. Gunships as they stand in Galactic Star-fighter are just a mechanism to introduce a sniping mechanic into a dogfighting arena and I'm not sure that sniping is a mechanic that belongs in dog fighting. Though to be fair I'm completely failing to feel anything star wars like out of Galactic Star-fighter at all. The real problem with gunships in my mind is they don't feel like gunships. When I think about gunships I think about some heavy frigate sized vessel with a lot of guns or gun turrets that wades in slowly and creates heavy bombardment. I'd like to have seen Gunships as multi-player ships in a match with one to two people taking on turret roles with the pilot having control of something like torpedoes. That then would have added a great mechanic for maps which are an assault on a capital ship or other defended space station which the other side has to defend. The gunships could then have flown in with other players acting as escorts to cover the gunships approach.
  2. Oh god no don't give them the idea of putting them in the frickin' packs, those things are the worst things to happen to the Cartel Store and In Game economy. But we definitely need more character customisations. its been far too long since more were introduced.
  3. I get what you're after. I'd like to see the content of the early packs added to the store to be bought directly without relying on luck. It's all all random packs these days and I never manage to get the items I actually want, but lots of crap I never wanted at all.
  4. My female trooper wants a man who doesn't lick his own groin and leave dead birds on the doorstop...
  5. I feel pretty peeved about the whole level 50 thing meaning a free month's play time. I think its an unbalanced and unfair way of rewarding the player base. I think its unfair to everyone whose chosen play style is to RP or play various Alts etc. I think this decision is going to make some people happy, but seriously annoy the rest. Thing is I actually don't mind that I'm not getting the free month, I think the amount of play time I get out of this means that I'm paying approximately 6p per hour of game time, and in all fairness, that's pretty damn cheap. What I do care about is the principle of what they've done with this because they've excluded a good cross section of loyal customers who would actually benefit from this and would continue to stay subscribed. It's not good business to make your customers feel like they're being punished.
  6. Regarding no Cross Faction Chat ... I think this needs to be relaxed ... sure ... keep the limitation in place for General, Trade etc ... but for custom chat channels which groups of people use, we need to allow cross faction chat in them. Examples for why: 1. When I'm playing with my Imperial, I still want to talk to my friends who are on their Republic characters. The current limitation makes this very anti-social and dis-encourages me from playing my imperial because I can't talk to my friends. 2. Communicating with role-played enemies of the opposing faction to organise cross-faction role-play. I'd also like to see the ability to send cross faction tells where both people have the other as their friend. MMORPGs are supposed to be social games ... lets allow some social interaction!
  7. Include my vote for chat bubbles ... they're essential for group RP.
