I was just pointed out this thread and sat reading the fun stories people tell when they are attempting to win public opinion points. Yes Jeck may emote people, and give a bit of **** to other players, I can tell you right now, its nothing compared to the stuff we say to each other in guild and on team speak. It's just the way some people have a laugh. There is no real malice in any of it. Mate, if have put my name on that petition, but there is accepting it being in reality where you know the chances of that changing anything are slim but still hopeful, and there is closing your eyes sticking your fingers in your ears thinking they are going to change their minds if you wish real hard. After all the rage on the forums about this topic doesn't even rate a response from those in charge, I would at least like a little information so i can plan accordingly. I'm sorry if this upsets you, I would love to be able to stay at 30ms, but I would also love to never have to work again but get buckets of money each week, eat what ever food I want without putting on weight and a bra that can manage to hold my ***** in place while I run. It's really great that you have time to respond to talk about sparkle powder, legacy achievements and color crystals, how about you take a few seconds to give the APAC servers some words on what/when you are closing our servers. People have accepted the fact you are going to shut us down, as you can clearly see by the posts on this forum, now the question we are left with is when! You have said you are closing APAC and after the outcry you told us we get to choose which server we will be moved to (thanks for the heads up on that one btw) how about you give us a time frame now so we can sort ourselves out around that. If you don't know when you are doing this tell us! Use PR talk like "we are working out the best way to implement our plan of server merges and currently have no estimated time we can give you." Any response is better than silence. I can't speak for everyone but personally I feel like SWTOR's unwanted step child sent away to boarding school to be kept out of the way. We get ignored, but get told that you are listening to our problems, you come up with solutions that we are told is what we asked for, but really its just what is convenient for you. We get ignored over the American players because we are just not as important as them.

Quick shout out to everyone who I have not been able to catch over the last couple of days. While I have unsubbed will still be playing F2P but it will be on the PvP servers. Been fun pvping with both factions and enjoy The Harbinger, they seem like really nice people from what I read on the forums

It would have been nice for them to try this. Something I don't understand about low APAC numbers is this. The world's biggest gaming show, PAX (the Penny Arcade Expo), will be held outside of the US for the first time later this year — and of all the world's gaming cities, it chose Melbourne. If our gaming community isn't large enough to be cost effective for them to keep our servers open it isn't because a lack of numbers of gamers in Australia.

Honestly, I do ranked for the fun and the challenge. I mean I like to win, but I'm not going to throw a tantrum and unsub if I don't. I don't care where I'm rated, but pug teams are just getting worse and worse, you guys agree?

crazy idea guys, rather than a big comp that takes AGES to get ready and organize, how about people be honest and give a shout out in gen the night that they are looking to do ranked? I know the reason cats don't do ranked atm is because no one wants us to know. Most nights we can throw together a team with what we have online. I don't care about who won, and a leader board. But I would like to play some games where you don't have half a team who just have nfi how to play! While a big event may sound fun, who remembers how annoying it was when it was happening, all the rules that people didn't like, everyone being ranked and judged while everyone was watching. There are always going to be ******s after these pvp things we know this, and its from EVERY guild, including the ones who pretend to be Mr. nice guy, get over it. The ranked war zone system does not allow you to cheat so just go with what is set in place. But if you all still want a big event I suggest someone go to the pvp server forums and ask them how they set up theirs, seems to be going really well for them.

I get why he posted it like this. Before we were cats we all know we were MVP. When other people were playing ranked, they would stop if we did. We had to sit in a raid one night in order to be able to get a single ranked game. After which we were called cheaters because some people do not like to lose and begged to stop playing. We even had someone join our guild on the pretense that they would let us know when their guild was doing ranked games. In around the two months we allowed him to keep an alt in our guild not once did he let us know that ranked games were running. He did how ever check to make sure that we were not doing them. So why shouldn't posts from members of our guild be at least a little aggressive when you consider that we don't get the chance to play ranked games? As far and the trash talk after the games, well I do hope you are talking about the guild that called MVP and myself in particular cheaters. When we did ranked against terra afterwards we gave them tips to help them improve and let them know when they really were improving as a group. I know this is out of character for me to not troll these posts but I have been playing my characters on the pvp server. Their population is much smaller than ours, but they have a ranked game competition that they are running at the moment which they allow EVERY guild to compete in, even the ones with the best pvp players on server. It would be nice if we could do this, but there is little to no chance people will put their ego's aside to achieve this.

First, I do not even play my sorc and sage much since both are nearly capped just leaving them that way Second, this post, is about my other characters that I play. (omg yes she play's something other than a bubble stun sage/sorc) Third, just how easy do you think I have it in pvp? I have people all over my *** like its made of candy. Just to be able to do my job and heal I have to kite, stun, CC, immobilize, all while watching the objectives and other peoples hp. I play a scoundrel, I know how annoying the stun on the bubble can be, but when I find a sorc or sage without it, i can global them. Come 2.0 the stun will only be on the caster, which is what I have said it should have been all along, what is going to be the reason to complain about me after that?

I have no idea where to start. While I understand War Zone's are always up and down depending on the pugs, this weekend I do not know what is going on. Is it smoke crack and play swtor weekend and no one told me? So I have made this "No No" list for war zones in the hope we can all start to not feel so bad about how horrible some people can be at pvp. Seriously guys, I don't want to keep sitting here screaming at my computer. So here we go - The No No List of PvP Alderaan Civil War and Novare Coast 4/0/4 <-- this strat I have seen work ONCE, and we were playing against idiots. If you are going to give up a node make it THEIR side. While the sides may be easier to defend when you are getting attacked at the side, as soon as the other team switches, its harder to get from one side to the other rather than jump down from mid. Keep in mind, if you have the sides, don't give them up to get mid then quote me as saying that's what you should do. When you are battling for a node, and someone manages to get a another node (leaving you with 2 out of the 3 and in a winning position) leave the dam node you don't have. Don't be greedy, they may need back up at the node they just took because it was a complete ninja cap. The Voidstar When attacking - CC aka "crowd control, the unknown ability in pvp. Yes my friends, CC isn't just something we use in pve. If used correctly CC can win a game, be aware of whats going on around you, try not to break flash bang, or hit a CC target. So use CC and cap those doors! When defending - You are defending the DOORS, not the entire area in which you are able to engage in combat. So watch the dam door please Ancient Hypergate I really don't know how this one can be more simple. It comes down to one very important point. If you have no pylon, you get no points. Stealth classes are about to CC you and cap, even with your CC breaker, you can't do anything to stop them. be aware people. Huttball Again, really simple. Get ahead of the ball carrier IN RANGE for a pass if they need it. If the ball appears in mid next to you and a bunch of the other team, pick it up! it wont hurt you! On the ping issue, idk how many of you played on the US servers, but I do remember what it was like. Your game may appear to be running fine, but when you use knock backs, the guy is already behind you, when you hit that insta heal, your already dead, walk over fire pit, oh ............ its on fire. Not taking sides here but playing with ping is hard and must be extremely frustrating. I do believe its the reason most of us don't want to play another mmo after experiencing the joy of low ping. To all the mosh haters, yes, he can be a dick, but at least its to your face, and like him or not he does have the skill on a number of classes, but what we all have to remember, is no matter what people say and do, leave my god dam sage and sorc alone! sick of you guys beating on me all the dam time

You say people farm normal warzones. I am sorry but I do believe that this is a game. When I pvp I am not farming coms, I mean sure, they slowly pile up and i am getting the new gear but with a +1 stat upgrade on most items, I'm not missing out on sleep in order to quickly get it. I don't do pve, I pvp, I do warzones because I enjoy having a few chilled games. I also like to play with my guildies. Just so we are clear on the issue, MVP don't form a 8 man ops group and all time our games to pop together. In face, if there is more than one group playing we normally play MVP vrs MVP rather than 8 man MVP against pugs. To the people who complain about facing pre-mades, I only play solo on my sorc, and I still manage to win games. (BTW I would do more ranked games but most people won't play more than 1 or 2 games against MVP, Big shout out to terra for having the balls to keep going)

I go on my lowbies when I get bored of winning. 90% of the time I win on my sage, the 10% I don't win is normally when I'm against my own guild. I don't get pissed off when I lose, I don't expect to win every game I play. As for the guild bank, nah man, if we want something we make it. We don't stockpile twinking items

The low level toons in MVP are people's alts, (most people in guild have many characters), I don't think anyone buys anything for their lowbies, we just have crafting professions on our other toons with left over mats so why not use them for our lowbies? I have no problem playing on my level 50 but I also like to play a new class every now and then to understand the mechanics, improve my knowledge and use that for when i am on my "big boy characters"
