Not sure if it's the most efficient play style (and I'm only lvl16) but I like to keep my companion armed and armored as best I can. Don't have game in front of me, but I think key binds are one of those easily missed bottom tabs in your preferences menus... maybe it's just me but I overlook those things all the time.

I think there's a bug with the mobile security app that's skipping the screen with the serial info you need to put into your Account settings, although I've been watching for updates and haven't found too much info, I'm guessing that the app is still in limbo.

Not knocking your enthusiasm for maxing out your security, I'm right there with you, but for as many emails as I've received from Nigerian princes wanting to escape their countries or the IRS not being able to deposit my refund "please click here" or "OMG, stripping teen gets busted by mom" posts from all my Facebook friends... notification, from this website, that the App is named "X" and is now active and available from "Y" is what's required for me. Of course I haven't got my EA notice yet, so an inactive account is my best security bet, so far. Guess I should go hit my "check mail" button again!

Maybe I'm oversimplifying (as one the bazillion noobs getting ready to crash the gates) but what if you only have an active "Companion Need" button if you have an active companion with you? Otherwise it's an inactive choice? Wouldn't that eliminate it being an issue on anything other than flashpoints? Or can companions run operations, warzones and such?

I ran pretty well on low/med settings over the Thanksgiving weekend with the following: WinXP Intel Core2 @2.2 2GB Ram ATI 4670 1GB Not going to get the super textures or anything, but it still looked good and ran smooth for me.
