I'm a casual player.
I agree that gear is far too easy to get. There's no incentive for me to run HM because I don't need the gear.
-
I haven't been able to get a group for Hardmode FPs for a few days. Though I don't really care anymore anyway since I am fully geared now.
This
None of the gear that drops in HM FP are useful to me.
I could gear out my companions but I only use them when I do dailies. There's no real incentive to gear them out in columi etc... and I don't want to take gear from someone who needs it for their character.
I have no reason to play HM FP now so it's not just about a better LFG tool, it's about incentivising players to go on HM FP.

Did karag the other day. It was fun.

If a healer manages their resource pool carefully fights in this game could go on forever; they would never run out of energy, force etc... It would make all boss fights a simple time grind.
That's why.

Zennis: Has there been any discussion to streamlining the Space Port process? Perhaps allowing speeders in the Space Ports besides the Fleet?
Brian Audette (Senior Designer): We've absolutely heard what the fans are saying and have been exploring options to address these issues. While we are still investigating allowing speeder use in Space Ports, we've also been looking for other ways to get people from point A to point B with greater haste. One such feature will specifically affect planets that have Orbital Stations instead of Space Ports such as: Tython, Korriban, Hoth, and Belsavis. We'll be adding an option for players to go directly to their ships from the surface shuttles as opposed to having them run through the Orbital Station to their airlocks. This feature and some additional tweaks will start showing up in Game Update 1.2.
It's not about the time it takes.
I don't mind waiting, it makes it feel more immersive, it's the loading screens there are too many.
Why didn't you design the process so that the loading of the destination planet happens while we're travelling there?

I agree that it's too easy to get kitted out in this game.
-
When I turn on the count down timer my UI seems to be less responsive whenever I try to activate an ability.

If we were all rocket scientists, we wouldn't be playing a video game to pass the time away.
Why?
What are rocket scientists meant to do to pass the time?

I still enjoy playing this game and I'm having fun, but to deny the problems with it is being naive and ignorant.
There uis a LFG feature but it's not user friendly which means noone is using it.
I can find players who are looking for a group from around the galaxy but I've not been able to form a group with it.
The game needs a better LFG system along with a better UI. The fact that this feature or an updated UI has not come sooner rather than later is bewildering to me.
I've seen enough posts on the subject well before the game was even released.

I love this game and I won't be quitting, but the argument that it's only two months old is wrong.
It's been in development for years and I agree with the people who are shocked that this game didn't have all the standards an MMO nowadays have.
Such as a customisable UI.

It would be a beautiful car without a
- speedo (combat log)
- steering wheel (linear leveling)
- passenger seat (no guild features)
- radio (Lack of LFG)
- serviceable engine (no UI modification)
Actually I think it's more like a train.

What does Star Wars feel like?
-
I try to steer away from Alacrity.
While it might be vaguely useful in some situations it's not the best stat to stack because some (smugglers etc...) healing in this game requires you to keep in sync with your energy generation else you'll run out.
I still try to stack power, crit & surge (even though they've nerfed it) in that order
-
I've levelled a smuggler on Republic and now I'm levelling a sorcerer on Empire.
The Empire side doesn't feel as linear and as enclosed as the Republic side. but that might just be me.
-
Less loading screens.
Make the travel animation longer so we wait for the planet to load while it seems we're travelling there.
Why can't we have a mini shuttle (pod) on our ship?
-
Dongles cost more to manufacture.
I think that answers your question.
-
What I'm finding hard to understand is the priority they've put on this issue.
I can't remember seeing a single forum post about it until they changed it.
Why did they change it in the first place?
-
Will we get a LFG tool?
-
Why did you keep the link from the email?
Are you trying to get people to click on it perhaps?
-
The UI and a LFG tool.
I spend a good hour of my gaming time stood in the fleet doing nothing but spamming /1
I don't find that fun at all.
-
I liked the original cool down effect when the game was released over this new one.
Perhaps we could have the option to pick which one we want?
-
If you want to make the game more realistic you could always go on a diet.

Started saying it when they announced space combat. Until then, I hadn't realized just how much they gave up to craft this magnificent 1-50 story. And yes, the story is fantastic.
Reasons I think story was a bad idea;
1. It too much development time, leaving little time for extras like decent space combat and sitting in chairs.
2. It restricts too much. Leaving less player choice on class/race combos or playable races.
3. It ends, they cannot pump out story faster then players can consume it. Meaning the game feels more like and RPG then an mmorpg. While fun leveling, it ends.
4. NOT immersive. I know, alot of people will pick on this one. But it's not me playing, it's some other guy I am sorta guiding. He is saying things I wouldn't say. I pick something, he says something similar, but not what I picked. And sometimes you just have three ways to say yes when you really just want to say no. Accepting quest with a yes/no option is actually more immersive, because my reasons are my own at that point rather then one or two reasons laid out by Bioware for me to choose from.
Don't you mean voice acting?
That's what probably constrained both the world and character design.

They should allow each profession to buff the things they can make to give extra stats.
So for Armstech they should allow that profession to buff their weapon.
And When Everyone's Super, No-one Will Be
