  1. In fact you know what, I've had enough, Bioware/EA, you've already driven away 3/4 of my guild and friends through bugs, poor CS and game mechanics/design/flaws. I think I'm out.
  2. Servers went up about 10-15 minutes before the announced time, so I lost my name of 3 months (6 if you include beta). Yet another mishandled launch.
  3. It was patched in the last couple of days, there is a short reconnect 'grace period' now. I've had a few guildies confirm it worked for them when they had crashes.
  4. You're not. Also, SOE devs were/are a bunch of anonymous corporate jerks. Ignoring all the other stuff, one of the things that gives you faith is that Bioware have experience fending off Microsoft with the Mass Effect franchise, and seem to be doing a fairly good job so far with EA (eg. not forcing use of origin, Bioware still the one calling the shots for release, early access, grace periods, early shipping etc.)
  5. Can't believe this guy is still here, has been trolling this thread for days. Probably isn't even playing the game.
  6. They did anticipate it and that's why it's happening. They have lowered all of the pop caps on the servers so that when the game goes to launch tomorrow, they raise the caps to their normal (what we saw in testing) and launchies can get in.
  7. Dug this post up from the other thread just to let everyone see it again. Wow.
  8. That's not how they did it. The Aus guilds all were deployed to that server so everyone else followed.
  9. No u. We spent months co-ordinating our server selection. The issue isn't aussies, it's that current server pop is artificially limited to less than they can handle. In general game testing the pop was higher, and during the stress tests they raised it higher again, with zero problems with lag etc.
  10. I've now been queued for 3.5 hours and two of my friends got in after 4.5 hours today. We all started at about 1600 queue.
  11. Current actual Swiftsure queue time is approx 1600 = 4.5 hours.
  12. Just another thing - the queues are slowing down massively today as people have begun to stay logged in, either manually or via using anti afk macros or whatever.
  13. The past two days of 4+ hour queues have been pretty devastating to my guild and our plans for early game. It's nice to hear that Bioware is aware of the issue but we really do need some action and updates on this ASAP please.
