im lvling the same class with the same idea, just curious why u removed the points to increase off hand damage. Were u wanting to fill out the watchman tree first ??

I am used to pure casters from another MMO, so the ability to do melee as well is nice. ill admit at first i was nervious about gettin into the thick of it with light armour. I will have to start incorporating double strike alot more, only used it when i needed to generate focus. Thanx for all the advice, much apprreciated.

i plan on running alot of heroics and flashpoints etc too

is it viable leveling as a tank ?? im used to heavy armor tanks so just wondering your thoughts.

I have a level 15ish PT spec'd as a tank right now. Just curious what others have thought when leveling in this spec, the pyrotech looks cool too. id like something that still leaves me mobile when needed if i can stand there and take damage all day with mako as my healer. Any input is always appreciated. Thanx

SO, ive read pretty much every forum about every AC on this game, and there are alot of people saying that said class sucks. I am currently an arsenal merc, at lvl 36. Last night i tried pvp on this game for the first time, and although i killed more than i died, i noticed a few things. me being ranged DPS playing huttball, If i could get the jump on melee then i usually won unless they ran around in packs lol. and vice versa. I had a few that were able to turn the tide of the fight on me, and my hat goes off to them. I am by no means a great player, i consider myself a noob, around 3 years experience playing mmo's. i truely believe its the disconnect between the keyboard and the computer chair thats the problem . Yeah sure the game might have some glaring flaws to some, but as with real life, are we not able to learn to adapt and move on, try different tactics etc. And please dont fill this thread with examples of why or how the game is flawed, cause i really dont care. PS any tips on a decent PVE rotation would be great, I run mako most of the time. Thanx

yeah im doin the blood duel on nar shadaa. Im 2 or 3 levels below the main guy and he is an elite. I have to redo my rotation and stuns, and maybe a medpack as well. The bugger has 14k HP. I might have to limit mako's dps and get her to heal me more

i remember that quest, and im a merc too. And like the poster a few lines up, after i noticed the heals, i had a long fight. once i was able to figure out his rotation i could change mine to interupts everytime he tried healing. I am by no means a pro at these kind of games. All i can say is try to watch ur heat, times ur CDs on ur interupts, u might not face roll him, but u should win after a few minutes. Good Luck.
