  1. Nope I still teach pilots when I can on that server but I moved to Harb. After the influx of pilots again it quickly died off.
  2. So I see many people complaining about gunships out there so this friday I would like to take the time to teach new players on how to take out gunships. If this is of interest to you we will be doing workshops on the Bastion this Fri and Sat.
  3. I have thought about it often but being the guild lead of my guild and not being a sole GSF guild (we do Ground and PvE as well) it is just too difficult to be on another server when people need things. I will give it some more thought though because last night I just found myself doing dumb stuff because I knew I could get away with it. I would stop myself directly behind a gunship and blow it up with my bursts on my Ocula, and I knew that no one had his back so it would be an easy kill. That is not something I could get away with with a good team of aces on his side. I almost felt like I was on autopilot. I have also been reading the 1v1 thread and I want people to know by posting here I am not one of those back water GSF guilds who think I am boss of my server. I know I am good but an Ace level is questionable when going up against the likes of Drak and his team. Last night I did a 102k game on my Ocula but it didn't feel right or note worthy without a team to give me any trials. What I can do though is get ppl in ship builds that are the best by reading the forums and staying up to date with the aces from other servers. Not everyone can read these posts right off and make sense of it so I feel like a mediator for the aces and the new pilots. Bastion is definitely starting to build up again but I am not sure they are ready for a roaming guild to come in and shut them out. I am preparing them for the inevitable LOL. What I say in TS3 is I am good/best on bastion with my group but don't be fooled about the level of difference of pilots that fly on other servers.
  4. Great matches for sure that Satellite A battle with you on your scout was intense I knew I picked the wrong ship (Imperium) when I saw you on your scout that match. Torpedo is too long of a lock to go up against your scout but man is it pretty much Impossible to kill so I had to make due that match. Definitely had me trying ships I had on the back burner to try to keep up with you. Thanks for giving Bastion another chance we are trying very hard on a daily basis to get the ques shorter and introduce new pilots to the game.
  5. Thank you Drakolich for showing up last night for some Bastion GSF. Not only did you show up and get some fun matches in but my pilots really got a sense of how to fly when you are not the best. I enjoy flying against you but hearing some of my new pilots talking and strategising really made me feel better as a squad leader. Then flying with you (your 3 for 3 side switch) showed them how o fly with a pilot and be that pilots wing man. Hope to see you around more because not being the top dog in a match forced me to try new and more intense piloting that I have lacked in recent matches. That Imperium vs Scout on A match was intense wish I had a quicker lock on for that match but it was fun all the same.
  6. We can get you into circle of enmity we have pilots flying all week long type that into the finder and one of my guys will get you in guild.
  7. Drakolich not sure what your talking about logged in last night and went 2 hours 6 matches or so 5 minutes between ques. but sometimes the que times take a while. If you are there solely to stream then I would say choose a different server we are trying to bolster the community now so it may take a while. If you are queuing Friday's and Saturdays you can get a match quick usually later in the night 8 to 12 server
  8. If you are still on we are still flying and training had 4 successful training matches and we are having a blast
  9. My fault I had not weighed in for Sarcasm we have both failed and I will be in my Corner.
  10. We at one point went toe to toe against those Drak and Stasie premades for a year straight. The Ques still popped every night and all it did was make the server better with its pilot population. I welcome the challenge I was never a better pilot then when I was going toe to toe with those amazing pilots.
  11. I am not even sure how many people will be showing up but seeing how all of my lessons stem off of lessons you taught me over the years both as flying against and with you it would be a pleasure to have you around. I tell people every day I am mediocre compared to people who uste to fly here and my 130k damage 30 kills per match are mostly because i am not sure I know how to go easy LOL. I tell them do not let me sit still or it will be a blood bath and they have definitely got better about keeping me on my toes. I need a pilot like you to keep me sharp though because ill be the first to say sometimes ill take a second hit before I move because I know I am built. I got lessons still needed to be learned for sure but first I need to get everyone on Bastion in good ships and groups. The videos will be starting again as well sense I got my new rig and can handle the game while recording. I am just genuinely excited with the amount of new faces playing and I want to do my part to sustain this interest.
  12. A theory! Please inform LOL. I am almost 100% certain this is a quote or inside joke lost on me LOL.
  13. Yup it was great to talk with you last night and I can say the Bastion has seen some really decent all be it newb pilots coming around. I would love to see its Ace community grow and with the help of my team and some hard work I am sure we can become a power house in the GSF community again.
  14. Before reading: this will be a Bastion event to be held on Fridays and Saturdays on the Bastion for the foreseeable future to help out new pilots on Bastion and an informal invitation to any new pilot from any server. If you have been interested in flying with a group to better understand the ships, the skills/basics, and calling out in voip with veteran players this will be a great opportunity for you to get in with a laid back group and begin to understand GSF a bit better. It was also brought to my attention that all the information I will be going over is on here in the forums and that is very true. I am personally not some one who can go through all kinds of information, read it and understand everything I need to know. I also know that others out there are the same way, and this will be for those types to really get into the nitty gritty in a Voip. The bellow portion is from my Reddit post. Reddit Post Or you can read below. With ques beginning to pop again on the Bastion The Bullet Club has noticed a group of people who have the necessary skills but lack the basics. We want to help the community because contrary to the whispers I have been getting lately of disgruntled players who go up against us we do not get off on winning every day. We are a small GSF community on this server and we would love to grow. If you are a pilot on the Bastion or really any other server we want to set up a night where we can all get together in TS3 and show off builds and talk about what we did as new pilots years ago to make the grind a bit easier. So myself Bullet-Rondo with, Bullet-Ignitia, and Bullet-Nike along with the rest of our new pilots would like to extend this offer to have both sides show up and be put into groups with some veteran pilots and learn some skills. Hit me up in game or one of the other pilots mentioned or send an email through Reddit. The days we are looking at are Fridays and Saturdays 8 server time because that is when we really get some great ques and have a majority of the pilots on. I am available most days to answer questions as well just look for a toon with Rondo on the name on the Bastion. If you also have a voip and you are doing GSF in your guild and want to offer up a channel to use if we get big enough that would be awesome as well. Happy flying and I hope this works out and is greeted with positive remarks... (Please on the Positive) We are looking to train not to push people away from this amazing side game.
  15. So my co host Ignitia just brought up a great point about the downfall of PvP. He believes it has something to do with the development of the MOBA genre. What do you think? I am not 100% on his side but he makes a great point about the competitive nature of Gaming sense Pro Gaming started becoming popular. Does everyone who is good want to be known for it now? Is that why PvPers twitch stream their PvP sessions in order to be noticed? In a world of instant gratification maybe being denied the instant win for some of these rage babies is a good thing. Maybe it can help them grow. Got a little philosophical there for a sec so maybe they are just ******es too LOL.
  16. From an RP aspect I will ask a question I posed earlier then. Do you think that because your character in an RP server has a mood, History, Back story, and much more that people doing RPPvP hold themselves to a higher standard to honor there characters? So if you had a Smack mouth ex veteran type character you may then be prone to talking more smack though LOL.
  17. Do you mind if I ask what servers those may be?
  18. I love the responses I just would remind people to check out the very first post because there are some questions I asked that I would love to get answers to as well. I have so much to talk about in the next podcast already and a reminder I am still looking for that Guild at a higher level with standards to maybe join us in the cast.
  19. I had some of the same issues when I was starting to PvP during 1.0 because the best way to get into ops was to get the pvp gear that I still own to this day. I fell in love with PvP during that time and I have 4 characters I PvP on regularly. I was **** though and maybe I still am I don't really put myself into ranks because I enjoy the team mentality of un ranked WZ's What you may try to do in order to find a group that holds their members to a higher standard is look for those people who act the way you do in a Wz and start inviting them to groups. In a while after I did this I had a nice 20 man little group that always qued together. Just an idea.
  20. Please keep it civil he mentioned no names so you are under the assumption he is talking about you. I can not force it but I would like to keep this as civil as possible. woops double posted my bad avert eyes mistakes were made!
  21. I had to laugh at this because it is so true I have guildies who will cry Que syncing when in TS i heard them trying to do it themselves. It is almost like they are mad sometimes because another guild succeeded where they did not. GREAT POINT! lol Please keep it civil he mentioned no names so you are under the assumption he is talking about you. I can not force it but I would like to keep this as civil as possible. Getting some of the bad out of the way do you see any guilds doing the right thing?
  22. That is a great point from a very high end PvP side. Now with people crying que sinking and such do you think that causes some of the high end pvpers to be a bit defensive?
  23. Good point I know when I am doing GSF against Imperials (Same Faction) I always let the other team and my team know if they need any help getting better they can hit me up and that they played a great game. Not sure I can help them get better on the PvP ground side but I can definitely let them know they are doing a great job with their tries LOL. As this goes along though I wonder if the title should have been Players that hold themselves to a higher standard, because it seems like a lot of you do the right thing because that is how we want to play a multi player game together.
  24. We all love to win, pull of that impossible come back, and to PvP in general. To me I was taught growing up that it is as important to not be a sore loser as it is to be a gracious winner. A little history on me is that I was not allowed to play video games growing up because of the negative stigma my parents had about them. I would occasional get my hands on the newest Final Fantasy game or Super Mario but I grew up as a Jock. I played football, baseball, and basketball from 7 on to through my senior year in HS and would have continued if I had not joined the military instead of going to college. It was in the military on our off times that I really found my love for MMO's. It was the comrades that I found that made it fun. It reminded me of that team mentality. I bring up the sports though because I was on very good teams and very bad teams. Some seasons we would not get any wins and it would be hard to go to practices. Being better at the game then some of my team mates I could very well have treated them the same way these elitist PvP players treat their team mates. I did not do that though. I helped make them better, and at the end of the season if my friend could get that one hit that could validate my season. Maybe, and I say this with as much politeness as I can, some of these players never were in a team? This could very well explain the way they treat their team mates. Maybe they do not know how to be the best at something while still losing. I will say this I was originally afraid to make this post on the forums but it makes me feel good to see that people like you all exist in the PvP community and that there are guilds that hold their players to a higher standard. Keep it up!
