    consealment vs lethality pvp

    Well Concealment Op has really good single target burst and control. Basically you can burn down someone in a stun lock if they don't or can't break it.

     

    Lethality is a DoT based and has really good sustained DPS.

     

    Both are good in PvP but I think Concealment is tops in PvP and Lethal is tops in PvE

     

    I run Conceal Op is PvP to just lolburst someone down in a stun lock.

    I disagree, CC needs to be strategic. When you have a plethora of stuns and cc effects available to every class, strategy goes out the window and you get what we currently have, which is a cc spam fest. And resolve is a crap system.

     

    Not surprising, however, considering how many of the devs came from Mythic.

     

    This is exactly right.

     

    Currently it's default to stun, people stun just for the hell of it. For no real reason or tactical effect.

     

     

    It's a bit out of hand and any one who says other wise is trolling IMO.

    A good tip is try and fill your relic slots early.

     

    The Light side and dark side vendor on fleet sells basic low level relics.

     

     

    Make a choice to go dark or light and you can get the relics.

    The Bolster system and PvP.

    I PvP ALOT.

     

    I see a lot of people que'ing for reg war zones with less than 2018 exp. One look at their gear and you can see why. There using the 178 blues you get from the Rishi vendor.

     

    This is not for the PvE toon with all 198 gear that is just running War zones to get credits or do the daily.

     

    This is for the PvP'er that wants to be competitive while they gear there toon. Getting all 168 PvP gear doesn't take long, but it can be frustrating when people look at your gear and give you **** for having 965 exp. Having 2018 exp makes you hit harder and take less damage from those with max expertise. I can always tell the people in war zones who have sub 2018 exp, there the ones I hit for 17K on my Power Tech. And I seek them out the entire match for the loz.

     

    So what is the best way to gear a new 60 in PvP while getting your 168 gear?

     

    Simple, don't put anything in a slot above item level 162. Green blue or purple 162 max. Don't mix and match, for example don't have 162 Purple's in your weapon and use a War Hero crystal , same for off hand. Use a power or Crit one. Ear piece Implants and Relics from the 55 basic com vendor on fleet. The Black Market stuff, and don't leave your relic slots open. Fill with with something anything.

     

    While doing chapter 4 and leveling take the basic comms as the quest reward. Along the way you get 3 or 4 +99 Comm crates. Save up the Basic comm's so you can get the Black Market stuff. It will give 2018 exp and you will make everyone on your team happy.

    Is the easiest, most casual friendly MMO in the history of MMOs already, it needs to be simpler still ?

     

    I really wasn't even talking about a robust macro system.

     

    Just something to reduce all the clicking and to make targeting a bit easier.

     

     

    Maybe it's me and my old age and reflex's ;)

    So true macro's will never make it into the game?

     

    That's a shame.

     

    Mouse Over Macro's are great for healing. Simply point to a targets ops frame and fire off a heal.

     

    I had the SWTOR keyboard and it let you key bind but not to truly Macro something.

    It's what Melee suffer in this game.

     

    The endless roots snares and slows makes hitting stuff near impossible.

     

    God help anyone who fills my resolve bar and I'm still alive........ :D

     

    If you can hit your target you will probably kill it. Problem is there is just so many tools to simply shut you down and hold you in place and kill you.

    I add and augment lvl 60 expertise gear and it seems like my performance is dropping.

    Here is bolster 101 level 55 to 60 if you don't have old level 55 PvP gear.

     

    DONT USE THE 172 BLUES!!! They do not bolster not even a little bit.

     

    Use the Basic com's vendor and get the 162 purple gear. Get the Ear Piece Implants and Relics (the relics don't work in PvP but they bolster)

     

    With this gear you have 2018 expertise and the gear still bolsters your combo gear at 60.

    If you can Zen once every 30 seconds, you should only use Master Strike with Zen. Your ultimate goal is to get a Zen Master Strike under the Precision Slash window.

     

    Marauders have a easier time getting off a Berserk Gore Ravage Force Scream with in the "gore window" IMO.

     

    Master Strike is to slow with out Zen. It's telegraphed and is easily countered. Ravage is much quicker (in animation) and is easier to land IMO any way.

    If you're looking for a cross over PvP/Pve Spec then Annie is the way to go. Annihilation is viable in PvP and GREAT in PvE.

     

    With the changes to Carnage, Carnage is very strong with amazing burst but it has a bit of a let down phase. The changes to Gore IMO have made it easier to hit the so called "Gore Window" and hitting someone with a 11K force scream is pretty cool.

     

    Rage is what it is, a burst on demand single target nuke spec. It's fun and easy to play. Very easy rotation and easy to get the big hits on.

     

    So in other words there all VERY good and viable.
