  1. Saw someone named "Mom" last night, Empire side. There were a lot of mom jokes being made...
  2. Agreed, it makes sense to go through an orbital station when you don't have a ship, but when you do you should be able to just land on the planet, LIKE IN THE MOVIES. Getting a ship should feel more rewarding in not having to sit through so many load screens. It makes sense having to dock your ship at a station for quest-related things, but I'd rather to get to the planet faster.
  3. Seeing as how current characters are incorporated into your first character's Legacy, I'm guessing it's not exclusive to new characters. Sure you may have options to give a character earlier access to riding a mount, but they also stated about other perks and attacks that you can unlock through the Legacy tree. Basically, newer characters will probably get more out of the expanded Legacy tree but there will still be perks for current higher leveled characters.
  4. As far as I know, every major MMO that's been released always have your character(s) saved to the servers, that way it encourages you to come back later in the future and give them more money. You should definitely be safe in taking a break and not losing your toon.
  5. Try out the other 6 classes you haven't tried? If you don't care about story, then you should probably cancel your sub and try another MMO.
  6. You mean the Taung? http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Taung Yeah, they went extinct sadly, so no go there... I would love to play a Trandoshan like in SWG, but I doubt Bioware would make them a playable species. My "true" request would be for Kaleesh.
  7. Also, KOTOR had the ability to return to your ship at any moment (most of the time) from the map screen, so really it's not like Bioware hasn't done it before. =P
  8. Actually goes live on the 17th, that way it keeps people playing before they decide to cancel their subs.
  9. Holy ****, I didn't realize the fleet pass actually had a use, thank you! Also, I too would love a quick way to get to my ship. If we can use a shuttle to quick travel across the planet, why can't we use our own ship to pick us up? And it'd be nice if we had a mailbox to access on our ship, I see no reason why we shouldn't get personal messages in our personal "home".
  10. The removal of purple name tags for party members, seriously why was that changed from the beta?!
  11. No actual appearance tab, i.e. not letting me customize my look while keeping the stats of my best gear.
  12. Agreed, I'm tired of having to constantly tweak my gear to make sure I like my look AND still have the best stats I can get. The modding idea is good, just isn't delivering to us players who want to look good in our own eyes. I ran into another bounty hunter last night that looked nearly identical to me, and I have mostly orange gear that looks decent. Having an appearence tab would greatly increase the diversity of player looks as currently everyone is looking very similar due to the constraint of gear stats per each level.
  13. To the above poster, the problem is that the level 50 mods that are in the epic gear slots are LOCKED. Thus, if you don't like the look of the gear but want the stats, well too bad, cause you can't take out the mods for your orange gear! What Bioware really should've done is have the option of looting mod(s) themselves instead of picking up the gear, that way you can get the stats for your orange gear. OR, they should've made mods gear exclusive, like having a chest-mod versus a boot-mod. This way they could still avoid people farming the early bosses for the mods instead of progressing to the end of raids. If they loot those boots, they can pop out boot-only mods. Obviously without an appearance tab of some kind, we're forced to having to slave over our orange gear to get a look we like and still have viable stats.
  14. It'd be great if they could have the mod tables reduce the cost of removing mods by like 50%, then they'd at least serve some function in seeking out. =P
  15. I'm a level 22 Merc Pyro and have been soloing the game for the most part (just grouping for heroics and flashpoints) and I've been greatly enjoying it. Here's the build I'm shooting for: http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#300MMZMcoZfhrbzGGMs.1
