  1. Hopefully in the meantime you are working on revamping the game engine so it isn't so limiting with what should be simple feature adds.

They are not. That would cost way too much money and the engine is FUBARd. It all goes to Cartel Market anyway.

The only viable option would be a complete rewrite of the engine, from scratch. Which at this point is simply not financially viable for them.

  2. Personally I would be quite fine with there being a decrease in performance as long as that hit was solely on my own machine. PC players have always had options and certain ones will decrease their performance unless they have the hardware to handle it. The point is to give them the option.

Except that it does game it does not really work, since it's CPU bound. And apparently a six-core 4Ghz CPU isn't good enough for this AMAZING looking game with GROUNDBREAKING features, that puts Crysis 3 to a shame.

  3. Hey everyone,

We have seen a few requests since the launch of Rise of the Hutt Cartel for the Mission Log size to be increased above 25 and I wanted to explain why that limit is currently in place. The Mission Log, just like all other components of the game, directly affects a player's performance in game. The goal in limiting the log to only 25 missions is to help mitigate potential area server hitches and ability lag they may encounter. Simply put, players could see decreased game performance with a Mission Log larger than 25.

Hopefully that helps explain a bit why the limit is what it is. There are currently no plans to change that limit but it is something we will continue to monitor.

    Thanks!

    Ahahahahahahahaahahaha....

    Hahahahahaahahahahahahahahahaha...

    Simply can't stop laughing.

How can you screw up an engine so badly ?! This is pure comedy gold.

Youy and your so called "engineers"...

    /facepalm

  4. and extensive testing...

Extensive testing ? You gotta be joking.

Bioware on 9.17.2012: Players with high-end AMD CrossFire or Nvidia SLI machines should notice a large improvement when running the game with the new shadow system.

Reality: 01.15.2013 - ONE FRAME PER SECOND when using a Crossfire setup.

And still NOT A WORD about a fix. Nothing except "we are aware of the issue".

  5. If I were a developer I would certainly feel dismayed and disheartened when you try and give your fans what they want only to get in thrown back in your face.

Not if some of your fans own multi-GPU rigs and can't play your game with them. They could in the past, but you broke your product, and for four months haven't fixed it.

You also constantly ignore ANY questions regarding your intention to fix the issue.

No. I will not apologise even if some of my posts were over the line.

    Period.

  6. 5 level 50’s (and 3 toons around levels 25 – 40)

Am I able to choose which 2 to continue playing with? What happens to the other 3?

You will be asked to choose 2 of those. An ability to play 6 characters for preferred players was promised, and should be implemented in the game soon.

Do the F2P species restriction mutate my characters to conform?

No. You get to "keep" everything you earned / unlocked as a subscriber.

3 crew skills per character (each and every one maxed at 400)

Which of the 3 do I lose? Do I get a choice?

You loose one, not sure if you get to choose.

2 bank tabs per character (some have 3) Most are full

Do I lose each extra bank tab I own? What happens to the items contained therein?

Nothing happens. You get to keep them. Same goes with all the items.

Each character has the maximum amount of personal inventory slots

    Same question as above..

    Same answer. :)

3 complete event armor sets ( 1 containment officer / and 2 sandpeople outfits)

Are these unequipped upon F2P login? What happens to the mods / armoring etc?

You can equip all the items that were bound to your character when you were a subscriber.

All characters are currently wearing a majority of “purple” level items

    Same question as above..

And again, the same answer. :)

Some characters carry more credits than the preferred level cap permits

Do I lose every credit above the cap, not to be returned?

Credits above the 350k credit cap, go to an "escrow" (savings) account. You don't loose them. You get access to that money once you sub again.

Some characters completed the HK quest on Belsavis section X

Does he remain a companion for those characters and can they still access section X?

Yes, he remains a companion, no the characters won't be able to access section X.

I have almost every available legacy perk unlocked (mail / repair / ship droids / training dummies / emotes / etc...)

Do I lose any or all of those?

    No.

Final question: Are any items / privileges restored if I resubscribe?

Not sure what exactly you mean. You get subscriber perks, unlimited access to WZ's, Flashpoints, Ops, etc.

  7. I have done all datacrons on 3 toons now. its easy once you know where they all are. its about playing the game not buying your way through it.

IF you enjoy doing boring, repetetive stuff all over again, hell, be my guest.

But DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT tell others that it is fun only because you find it fun.

  8. Things like datacrons should be "found only" items. If people want the datacrons on other chars, they need to go get them. Here's hoping BW doesn't make everything in this game obtainable through the CS.

And who in their right mind is going to hunt THE SAME datacrons on six characters ?

    a) it's not fun

    b) it's not fun

    c) it's not fun

  9. What is going to happen to all the people who get this error code:

    An error has occurred while trying to process your request. Please, try again later. {0}

....on January 8, 2013? Are we going to be screwed out of getting the early access because we tried to pre-order, but due to a "system error" - we couldn't??? Are we simply going to be told "too bad - so sad"?

Yes. Pretty much that is what is going to happen.

  10. Honestly... How this even got through? WE PAID for those things MONTHS ago. They were in the game, on our characters during their creation but not obtainable later. What's there to justify that we're being charged AGAIN for permission to wear the old sets? Is this respectful toward the older users?

The armor was always there but then it took a Hickman to the knee, and here we are.
