  1. A word on Crystals and PVP Keep the following things in mind, the bolster system evens the playing field for lower level and keeps lower level armor viable at upper levels. When you have put your set together for PVP the last thing you will want to add to the set is Color Crystal to your weapons and or shields. In fact you will want to start off building your set without any Color Crystal in the main hand or off hand items. NOTE: Your finding will be as follows. 1. You may not even need or want to put a Color Crystal in your weapon or end up using a much lower level one then you would had normally expected to. 2. You will find that Expertise Crystal will do you harm. (System seems to be broken in this area) ** The use of an Expertise Crystal will always cause a diminished return where the Bolster system is in effect. Reserve the use of them in non PVP environments. Example: Standing nude with only a main hand weapon on. 1. Aim = 1788 / Endo = 1778 / Expertise = 171 (bolstering) No Color Crystal 2. Aim = 1788 / Endo = 1778 / Expertise = 89 (bolstering) Color Crystal +41 Expertise The key is to find balance in your stats and not reduce the maximum amount of Expertise you should be receiving. It’s very likely your endurance stats are maxed or close to it and the use of an Endo-Crystal will only cause a diminished return and hurt you’re over all Expertise. Your crit- stat is the 2nd most important stat to be mindful of in PVP. If using 162 armor sets you may want to conceder using Crit- Crystals but if that cap has also been reached along with Endo, then use a Power Crystal as there is not a diminished return on Power. You can do your testing at the Bolsterizer at Fleet. 2. Welcome to it. BTW your post How to Gear for 2018 Expertise rocks!!
  3. Really-really good video glad you have it out, and thank you, and vary welcome.
  4. Disclaimer: 1) This information would not apply to open world PVP (only arenas) INFO (Q/A): 1) Can PVE gear be used for PVP: YES!! 2) Is older PVP gear any good: PVP gear or PVE gear at level 55 less than 162 or PVE gear greater than 168 will be of no real use to you in PVP arenas 3) Expertise is a PVP only stat that effects damage done, damage taken, and healing done. PVP’s main state is Expertise and the bolster system will provide it to you correctly if you have the right gear on PVP or PVE for that matter. But your Expertise should not be any less than 1900 when you PVP. When it comes to arena PVP gear your focus IS NOT on your main stats i.e. (Endo/Aim) (Endo/Cunn) ect. It is on EXPERTISE and with the SWTOR Bolster system what you don’t need is PVP gear to make a killing. At 55-60 to gain the maximum benefits to the SWTOR Bolster system you will want to start with a full set of 162 Armor you can start playing with 168 mod as needed I would recommend. Find the balance to bring up your main stats but always keep focus on > Expertise. Let me provide you and example of why less is best NOTE: Now keep in mind going in to PVP with 186 armor or even mixing it with modern PVP armor is a big red flag. DON’T mix PVP armor with anything greater then 168, use of 162 is even better. Stats Example: Well look at changing Bracers (PVE Gear) and how it affects my stats for PVP starting from a set of 186/178/168/162 armor. Stats 186 Endo = 4033 / Willpower = 2690 / Expertise = 0 (without bolstering) Stats 186 Endo = 4033 / Willpower = 2690 / Expertise =1076 (bolstering) Stats 178 Endo = 4202 / Willpower = 2682 / Expertise =1092 (bolstering) Stats 168 Endo = 4179 / Willpower = 2658 / Expertise =1104 (bolstering) Stats 168 Endo = 4164 / Willpower = 2646 / Expertise =1113 (bolstering) You can test your gear using the Bolsterizer at Fleet. This is how you get to it. lol bolster

So ya, I like all the Dav talk on what is meant to be on the chnages. And it is clear they have to do even more fixing of the armor / stats & PVP. However I am most unhappy with the following. I spent a great deal of time in building up Com's/Points for PVP armor with. (not that it even was working right at the time.) But never the less you have taken all the time I spent in getting PVP armor and basicly come back and told me tuff luck you have to start over for your PVP armor. Sorry SWTOR... You stink!
  6. The server down? Server status stats up and I see no alerst but I was droped and now the game will not load.
