So I only have 2 class stories of the 8 left to complete (smuggler and Consular). I was working on completing them before this extended double XP went into effect. I do not have any level 75 characters, closest I have is level 68 guardian that somehow I messed up story line (went from Ilum to knights of the eternal throne)swear I thought I selected the rise of hutt cartel line of questing on ship, noob mistake. Anyway, should I just keep leveling my guardian to 75 to take advantage of XP bonus or continue completing the remaining class stories? Just want to use the bonus XP effectely since my time is limited. Thanks in advance I'll take my Jugg or marauder through the stories post Ilum (i still want to experience them).

Thanks for the replies! I joined a guild that is reforming after taking a hiatus and they say they are a chill casual guild so hoping that will help direct my decision as on what to play and maybe focus on a specific class. I do like the stealthers OP and Sin, but always felt in other MMO's they weren't ever chosen in raids etc. And to further add to my altaholicism they have guilds on Pub and Imp lol, so yay, can bust out the smuggler, trooper, shadow and guardian now lmao. Ok guess we beat the horse too much, I'm thinking the advice I need is just pick what you like, it's a game have fun. I just feel like I have no direction and that could be just because I play very casually. So there's nothing wrong in playing multiple characters and never focusing on just one? I have no desire to be the greatest swtor player in history, I just want to have some fun with what little free time I have these days.

Hello All, I apologize since I know this topic has been beaten to death. I'm a very causal player since I'm full time student, new father, part time job, etc. I have classes on both Imperial and Republic sides, I prefer the Imp side, play on Star Forge server. I have played multiple classes and multiple builds (DPS and Heals, not into tanking). I prefer PVP am not opposed to PVE just never raided on here, and would be willing. I know the whole "play what you like" routine, and the issue is I enjoy DPS and Healing. I honestly feel I need a friendly, cooperative, and relaxed guild to join. I've been added to several guilds, but been booted and I assume because of inactivity. Classes I've played the most lately and enjoyed...Jugg, Assassin, Merc, Operative, I want to like sorc (I usually play support/heals in other MMO's) but when I'm in PVP all I do is get focused and it's just die, enter battleground, die, it kinda sucks. Then I get on forums, Reddit, etc and I start reading about classes and all the opinions make my head spin, Sorc best healer, no operative best healer, no Merc is best. Then I'm like lets just play DPS, I never just play DPS and I read oh this is FOTM, this is squishy etc etc. Sorry gang, maybe I would just like a nice guild and I can fill in whatever role they need since after all it's MMORPG not a solo RPG. Can it be possible to customize my ship, it doesn't feel like "my" ship feels like a rental. Can space combat be massively multplayer? Why isn't there an actual open world for PvP, with objectives, capturing bases like empire strikes back, etc. Make faction rewards like capture this holocron/datacron for force, melee, heals bonuses. The warzones get so tedious same stuff over and over and over, yawn. Mirrored classes, I think this has to go, yes I understand game is in full swing already, but it's so generic and bland, mix it up. 3rd faction, yes dark age of camelot style, brings more balance than 2 sides, let's face it even America could use a 3rd political party the two party system just sucks. I had such high hopes for this game, and it can be so much more if you would just listen to subscribers. Thank you

Hello, My 1st MMO was dark age of camelot and I still miss the glory days of the game, to me nothing has come close to that experience. Since then I have played WoW, Guild wars, Warhammer, LOTRO, and now Swtor. I enjoyed playing tanks and healers but then again that was when I played DOAC and had a good guild and bunch of friends to play with daily. We had set objectives, set roles and good chemistry. I guess I long for that family guild feel have yet to find it on any other game. I lately feel isolated and alone forced to solo all the time or group with a friend or 2 but due to life we are not always on at the same time. I liked the MM of MMORPG, but lately have felt like I am just playing a console game alone. So I believe this is why I can not find a class I truly enjoy playing, lol I guess I need structure and a role to fill. I love healing/tanking, but PUG's omg can make me cry, PvP I stand back and heal and the opposing team hones in on me and gang slaps the crap outta me. I started on imp side playing on operative, then a sorc, then a merc, then an assassin. Recently my buddies and I have moved to republic, so far have a smuggler, shadow , trooper and sent, lol yes I have altaholism. I loved the smuggler and operative the most, healing with them in PvE and PvP is so fun, but for me PvP is rough, I get double/triple teamed so much. Sorry this post is dragging on and whiney, I do like this game, maybe I just need to find a laid back, mature guild and be the healer for them, might make life better for me, just not sure how to find one that fits me. Hello Fellow Operatives. I am currently level 34 and primarily been leveling as Medicine spec'd OP. I have been playing around with skill calculators and was curious if this build was viable for PvP and PvE? I would like to have some survivability and be able to do some dmg in PvP, be able to heal a grp in Flash points or raids or just do missions in PvE.
