  1. Yeah it's all well and good saying; "Herp-de-derp we're sorry theres queues, here have a big pile of nothing happening." I personally think the answer would be obvious though. Give us the option to MOVE SERVERS. Some of us didn't expect the major pc gaming magazines guild to be on their server, when some of us started the early access we didn't all know which were going to be instantly packed before hand. Of course, knowing that you guys did because of the Guild program, makes it interesting that certain servers didn't have a "recommended" or "not recommended" tag. Now this means thanks to how many massive guilds there are, I can't play my casual character when I want to. Now don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind waiting in the queue for that long if I had a guild of 100s waiting for me. I don't though, what I have is a group of people in General chat discussing how to say "anal" and not get censored. Now to make matters worse this isn't WoW, where you find yourselves feeling no connection whatsoever to your interchangeable characters. I LIKE my character, I like him alot. He looks how I wanted him to look, sounds how I wanted him to sound, and acts how I wanted him to act. He's the exact class, the exact type the exact everything I wanted. Now though so that I can play when I want to, and don't have to wait hours after work, I have to start again. That wouldn't be so bad, bite the bullet, do the 20ish levels again. Yeah it'd be a bit boring doing it ALL over again so suddenly, but hey why not eh? Because if I pick a standard population server again, it's probable that it will eventually wind up with queues just as bad come tuesday. What will Bioware do about it? NOTHING. They'll want me to log in 2 hours before I finish work. They'll think "Ah yes the casual gaming audience who we can appeal to, they'll be ok, their one or two hours to play won't be at all taken up by the wait just to be allowed to play." It's ridiculous that they didn't have some sort of plan or contingency for this. A simple, free, controlled and monitored character transfer system would be most obvious choice, but instead they just opt for the "woops looks like you guys gotta wait." It's a crummy attitude and now I have to start again. The thing I don't want to happen though is that I get bored of the game because I wind up playing the same stuff over and over again, just because I have to wait hours to get into the game. I simply DON'T have that kind of time. I am sure I am going to get berated by the more "core" audience. "Well if you haven't the time why play?" etc. Well I do have time to play, I just don't have as much time to play as you guys have to wait in queues to be allowed to play. Its unfortunate, it's upsetting and its annoying but it's the way it is. Either way I am going to go make my new character now and start all over again on a lower population server.
