I have run up against a class story quest that I just can't seem to finish on my own, and would like some advice. I have always assumed that the class story quests could all be done solo. This one has me stumped. I am normally speced as a healer so I tried it with Lt. Iresso as my companion, no luck. I went and respeced Telek and went back with Tharan Cedrax as a companion still no luck. When I am healing it is hard to switch back and forth to do my stuns, when I am dpsing Cedrax just can't keep me alive. I am starting to think I need to wait for the new expansion and try again at 55 Any other advice -- other than finding a group to do this one?

So you are saying that only slicers bought anything in the market?

So, you are saying that the only people who could buy stuff in the galactic market were slicers, and now that slicing doesn't make money, no one will buy in the market?

I am not one of those who wants anything nerfed, but I think you miss the point. With crafting your companion makes stuff for you that you need to sell to another live player in order to make credits. With slicing your companion brings you back a bag with credits in it. No selling involved

I think social ablities is not a good choice of words, since we also have social points which we gain by doing group quests and conversations. These social points are needed to buy things at social vendors. So, in this case social points do make a difference in game play.

Apparently people have seen that they are in so this is of no real value. The reason that they said they would not put it in was that they didn't want you to feel like you couldn't take a favorite companion on quests with you, just because they had a crafting or mission bonus that you didn't want to miss using. i.e. I can't take this companion with me because he has to stay on the ship crafting since he has a bonus for crafting.
